Wayne, look into this for Eric. The bus is equipped with a fast idle bump switch. That is a function of the cruise control on Cummins engines. THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE that he does have cruise control, and the school district did not have the switches installed. Crack open the dash near the idle bump switch and look around. Also contact the dealer for the chassis manufacturer. Remember, they would also sell that same chassis/drivetrain combo to RV companies to make diesel pusher class As. My money is that they would also use the same wiring harness on the school bus and just not plug in the not needed stuff.
I’ve been watching Erics N.F. Channel for years, and this is probably the 2nd RVPW I’ve viewed. It’s cool to see Eric being himself and not in “work mode” when he videos himself for his channel. It’s warming (pun intended) to see his genuine reaction and gratefulness upon seeing the dash heater functioning. That got this video a thumbs up.
You will loose alot of btu with the hoses exposed along the frame in the cold if it matters. The drains in the fittings are bleeders if the system airlocks. The zip ties will saw through the silicone hoses
Wayne, towards the front of the bus you should the heater hoses with loom laying on top of what looks like air lines. If you haven't done so wrap the air lines with a piece of hose. Over time that wire loom will wear a hole into the air lines. I know from experience. Had it happen on my semi
When he said he was getting rid of the water lines from the engine I was wondering how he would defrost his window he was talking about a mini-split thinking not going to be running a mini-split while your driving. Plus need lot of heat on the window to keep it from frosting up in really cold weather.
What was the ranger looking for? What kinds of things are unacceptable? Would be great info so we do not do something wrong without even knowing it is wrong.
Have you thought about putting insulation of some kind on the hoses running forward? It may take forever to get heat upfront when driving due to the wind chill over them.
it's to bad people can't keep to them self's and be quite !! keep up the good work!! Would it hurt to put 4 hose clamps on the water hose you joined, just in case
I suggest adding a backup elect or diesel heater to heat drivers area. Try not idling the moter ,it sutts up turbos & gets oil dirty quicker, as oil changes cost money.
My thoughts would be to leave a couple of those heaters in the bus. I know Eric is not planning on traveling in cold weather but we get some bitter days and nights here in Florida. I'd leave at least two heaters to keep the bus warm. I know he's planning on a mini-split but usually when it's cold the sun may not be out and it may get cold in that Monster Bus.
Great job Wayne! I just knew you were going to do something like that and reroute the hoses from inside to the frame! As in your last video comments, people were wondering about the Ranger showing up as someone reported Eric and the bus build! Do these guys have anything better to do? I am sure they are perfect in every way! Actually they just need to get a life! And quit picking on you and Eric!
I was just wondering.Shouldn't the line that is hot, be insulated since it's under the bus?And it's goneing to have ice and snow and everything, hitting those lines !!! J😅ust a thought.
Brother, I’ve been watching you bail out Eric seems like for 10 years. I enjoy your videos, thanks! Keep up the great work! Great solution on that front heat, I wasn’t sure if it was gonna be hot enough by the time I get there.
Nice work Wayne, they'll be thankful for the hot air in freezing weather.

Yep, but he's still a douche bag.
Awesome! I’m glad you were able to clarify the fake reports made by trolls
Thank you Wayne, good job.
Very welcome
You are like a surgeon, amazing talent
not a dentist though

Hey Wayne, good to see you. Eric is getting a top shelf job for sure. I know he really appreciates what you do. Your friend, Louise

I deal with school buses every day for 36 years that silicone hose is expensive . Nice job Wayne!
You’re good at bus stuff.
Nice job. Very well done. Neat install.
0:44 T8rs got some H8ers
Wayne you are awesome. Great job.

Enjoyed the video. You explain everything in detail. Keep the videos coming 😊
Wayne is The MAN!!!
Keep them coming Wayne!!! Great video
Have you thought about putting insulation of some kind on the hoses running forward? It may take forever to get heat upfront when driving due to the wind chill over them.
Nice job Wayne. Eric's reaction had to make you feel pretty good!
You are a good man. Peace be with you.
Good job 👍
Amazing Wayne
I'm impressed.
Tater needs to be helping so he knows how the systems work
Nice work Wayne!!
Nice work Wayne as always.
Thoroughly enjoying your vids.
it's to bad people can't keep to them self's and be quite !! keep up the good work!! Would it hurt to put 4 hose clamps on the water hose you joined, just in case
Great video Wayne. You are a man with many talents. Keep up the good work ❤

What I did was just to be used while driving. We have plane for living quarters heating.
An expert speaks.
Good job. I hope you'll discuss costs at some point.
well done!
Your amazing 👏 👏👏👏👏
Great job W.
Why would you help this guy.....He is using you..... Your just free labor .....He's just using you

Yeah right lol
how do you run two mini-splits on batteries?
"Things get heated", nice play on words Wayne. :)
Great job as usual Wayne 👍🏿 But why would you remove the heaters? Cab heat alone will not heat entire bus.
Great job Wayne! I just knew you were going to do something like that and reroute the hoses from inside to the frame!

And quit picking on you and Eric!
You are a smart man.
Smart design
Great 👍🏼
Like they always say there’s a lot of haters in the world
Have you switched the thermostat out for a lower temp one? Sorry if i missed a vid where ya did.
Shouldn''t that heater hose be put in a foam jacket to keeptwmp up for the real cold weather.
I was just wondering.Shouldn't the line that is hot, be insulated since it's under the bus?And it's goneing to have ice and snow and everything, hitting those lines !!! J😅ust a thought.
Ha I knew you were going to do that but I just didn’t tell you! 👍🏽😊❤️🇺🇸
I was sneaky about about the idea and kept quiet about it. Glad you liked it.
Run down to Mexico and invest in your teeth bro A nice smile will change your life! God bless
👍🏻
Should the lines be insulated?
Drama,, it's like is Stefano dead or not?.
😎Mighty fine job, if I say so myself.🇺🇲👍🏼🤙🏻🍻✌🏻
Nice 👍
🎉
👍👍👍👍👍
You're brilliant! Glad there were no issues with the BLM ranger. 👍
😎
Snarky
I like it but what's your level of confidence using the old hose?
I feel good about it. It is a silicone hose so it in better then standerd heater hose.
Dash heat will not heat the whole bus. Should have kept the heaters.
Why bother,he will get rid of it in 3 years
His business if he does!
So what’s your point?
Brother, I’ve been watching you bail out Eric seems like for 10 years. I enjoy your videos, thanks! Keep up the great work!
Great solution on that front heat, I wasn’t sure if it was gonna be hot enough by the time I get there.
I don’t think he’s bailing out Eric , he’s helping Eric build his bus.
Why do people report lies. Jealous?
