- In honor of our 10th anniversary, Lutheran Satire will be producing a series of ten interviews with various characters, theologians, and hooligans.
First up is Lutheran Satire creator Hans Fiene's interview with fan favorites, Donall and Conall.

I love that Christians of every stripe are such huge fans of this channel. Basically every comment says “I’m Catholic/Reformed/Baptist, but I love Lutheran Satire”

So Patrick as a Roman catholic I have to say, I love your videos, even if I also believe as a famed protestant and nearly Catholic songwriter put it, “faith without works is like a screen door on a submarine.”

Works don't get you into heaven there just a sign that you belong there is the general consensus I have always heard.
I hadn't realized how similar the Lutheran and Catholic Church were until finding this channel. At my Catholic school, we watch these videos with one of our teachers who is an Augustinian brother.

How different can they be?
Both denominations, and the rest, are parts of the body of Christ.
So long as they don't embrace some actual heresy, like denying the Trinity, denying the deity of Jesus, denying the saving grace bestowed upon believers by Jesus through His death and resurrection, and so on, with _actual_ heresy, they are Christian and part of the church.
The hand and foot are different too, but if they belong to the same man, then they are more alike than not.
@@joshuakarr-BibleManYeah, I agree. So long as they don't deny the sufficiency of Christ's death on the cross and believe in something like doing pennance for the remission of sins or spending time in purgatory for additional pennance then I'd say they are Christians too.

That's so funny, but as a Canadian myself, I've never heard any other Canadian pronounce it like that. That sounds more like a Scottish accent.

My life is complete now I've seen the Canadia Badfinger tribute band. Are No It's OK That's Fine Finger, due to play anywhere in Britain in the near future? Best they keep away from South Wales lest they get lynched by friends and family of the band.

I like your channel but when ST Paul talks about salvation apart from works of the law he is talking about the ceremonial law of the jews. And in Matthew Jesus clearly says that he will judge us by our works.

@@coalcreeker583 Wrong even if you spell it right. The Biblical Canon existed before the Bishop of Rome was of any importance anywhere but Rome and its immediate vicinity. There was a Council that formally ratified it but no one outside Rome paid much attention. RCC members often cited the Council of Nicea as establishing the canon but that is wrong on many counts. First the Bishop of Rome wasn't there so the RCC gets no credit for anything said or done in 325 at Nicea. Second the canon was not formally discussed much less decided. Apparently attendees did discuss the need for a canon unofficially. Scholars can go on.
Almost left out: the artillery pieces called cannons were not invented in Rome either. Several Italian city states did have a lot to do with development.

@@coalcreeker583 No credit is due. I left out many details that all Christians should know. The RCC makes many false claims such as being the only real Christians. I found it necessary to learn a little about true church history.
