Exploring Forest Road 117 in the Jemez Mountains

So we were headed up into the Jemez for my groups meet and greet and figured I’d save a little time by taking FR117 as it was more direct on the map. Yeah that road is a mess and and I started to feel like we would never get there at this rate so we turned around and went to the better road. #overlandnewmexico #offroad #overlanding #overlandtravel

I drove this earlier in the summer and the side-by-sides had completely destroyed it, it's marked with a skull and crossbones to avoid and never go again on my map.

Off of 126 between 103 and seven Springs hatchery
