Nice version of Distant Dreamer from Glastonbury , I love the way Duffys band sound and this version has some cool Bernard Buler type guitar going on especially after Duffy leaves the stage in the outro , best version so far in my opinion other than Mc Almonts of course.
Great that the backing guitarist had his Glastonbury moment front of stage at the end and Im still hoping we might yet see a McAlmont / Butler / Duffy live set sometime .....lol.... This song needs a bit of Mc Almont

That lassie can hold her notes. Shame she did not push herself in the warwick Avenue song, it would have set this ong up well. Someone need to take this talent aside and get her to belt some fire into her notes. Top singer, top voice, now she needs some proper steering. This will be a galsto classic.

Oh...is everyone likes Amy Winehouse so much then why do most people only talk about her to poke fun at the ignorant shit she does?
duffy has more potential. amy can only sing in the same way. and also she has less love when singing. less passion. duffy sings with her heart, amy with her depression. if u take a closer hearing u can hear it. but nevertheless: amy is very good. no doubt. and in my opinion we shuold not compare amy and duffy. they are too different in thier characters. one said: "gold to duffy, silver to amy" i think this hits the clue perfectly.
sure amy will be a ledgend. but just because she dies on drugs. not cause of her talent at all. all will remember her as a victim of the industry. a scandal resits more in the human mind then a real talent. thats why the boulevard press focus this kind of fate. duffy wont get in history in that way, u are right. but in the heart of a good minded person duffy will be more famous mthan u can imagine. thats the different: amy will be a legend, but duffy IS a legend.
1st, Amy isnt orignal, neither is Duffy, the 60s came first. The difference is....Amy had it.....then f++ked it up.....Duffy has it....AND wont f++k it up....conclusion.....Duffy will last longer......because... she has her head screwed on........and.......well....you make up your mind.......
