I put a sticker in the inside of the camera lid with notes of what each feet is in metres. I never miss focus now thanks to this handy little note. Give that try! I love how easy it in to walk up close to subjects and snap a shot without them even noticing you. It's just perfect!
P.S. Not all the GTs go up to 1600, some go up to 800. I have 2 one of each.

I too think that this camera is a beautiful piece of exquisite engineering but something to beware of it that the reason for the low price not just due to it "flying under the radar" but more that it has an atrocious reputation for reliability & repair costs are generally uneconomic. Get one for a good price & love it as one of the best disposable cameras you can get for the money.

Nice! I have thought about getting one of those a few times. I've shied away because of the zone focus thing, but I applaud you getting out there and making it work. I bet you'll hit focus a lot better the more you do.

I got one of these Minox cameras and I paid £5.00 for it from a camera shop in London and it came with the original minox flash

Study zone focus on the lens, once set no need to set any distance to think about

Looks like a pretty cool camera. That shot at 2:14 is awesome! Keep up the good work man.

You could use a hot-shoe fitted rangefinder. BTW the T is for Timer.
