In this video I talk about what we do as composers when we have limitations. This song “From a Parallel Earth” was written and arranged for a challenge by my friend Stevie B to write and produce a song solely with sounds from your DAW. I use Logic Pro so this was a chance to get into some of the plugins and sounds that I haven’t explored before.

Logic’s strings are pretty great! I use them as part of my strings arsenal and mix them with other programs!
so many great tricks here Eric! I'm definitely not super familiar with every orch sample/patch stock sound in logic! this helps!
Yeah, my goal is to add more tricks like this specifically for composers.

Maybe I just do something new really showing off some Logic fun stuff that is kind of hidden. String and Horn articulations are certainly one of them. Whole new world!
