    Oh my! All I can say is I love it! I’ll bet that if the friend who gave this to you sees it now, they may want it back. In fact I was thinking, I have the perfect spot for it here in my house in Alabama, USA. By the way, while most people in America would call this a hutch, there are pockets of areas where these are still called a Welsh Dresser. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful job. You are indeed a woodworking wizard!!!

    I am amazed! You took a rather plain pine hutch and turned it into a unique statement piece! I admire your creativity and your attention to detail. You don't simply scuff sand and slather on paint and call it a day. You design beautiful pieces of furniture that surely must compliment any space! Bravo!!!!

    Yay! Kitty is back! Absolutely love this! Well worth the lifetime of sanding, scouring and blasting. I really appreciate the care you take with the backs, bottoms and insides of pieces. It makes such a difference. Great job!

    My first thought was, "I wouldn't want to be the person who has to dust this piece!" But you put an enormous amount of work into it, and that laser is next generation. Sweet kitty loves you!

    The 3D effect of the finished project is absolutely stunning! The walnut stain and the engraved panels are beautiful. I’m so glad you saved this poor thing, and the finished piece is gorgeous.

    What a transformation! I do like the 3D effect you did to this piece. It gave it so much more interest. And the door inserts are much better than just glass. Another stunning piece, with no surface left untouched. Bravo.

    It turned out amazing! Those glass doors always make me nervous so I love the cutout panels idea, and they're so much more visually interesting. I'm sure they look awesome lit up from inside. Muy bonito!

    Just gorgeous! I never noticed the 3-D look as much before as in this piece. It only took 2 eternities to do just the sanding, too. And bonus kitty!! It’s such a pleasure to watch you transform a plain, boring object into a beautiful statement piece. Especially with the beautifully-patterned laser-cut inserts.

    You are definitely a Master of your art. Beautiful change and results. I have only 1 observation to this particular project. As beautiful as the design is on the drawers I shake my head when it comes time to dust and clean all those tiny dust catching crevices. Otherwise she a beauty. Well done.

    Just gorgeous! I recently rescued two roughly 135 year old sewing machines from people who were going to chalk paint the tables. It's SO much work to fix them after that kind of treatment. Your work is inspirational.

    You took peace could be ignored in the room, and you turned it into a centerpiece. Excellent!! Beautifully done. I have never seen the 3-D green and I didn’t think I’d like it, but it gives the peace that little something extra. It looks like a country piece with a wow!! factor of 10.     I actually like pine furniture. It's simple and charming. Clearly it's not very elegant or high end, but im a fan of rustic styling. That said, I'm very glad you toned down the yellow!

    After days off sanding, you can be so proud on this piece off furniture ! This is so nice to see and this piece almost looking so classic now and also antic ! So nice to see your dedication to the this even when the job is going to be so boring, you still going strong !! Now for the next 3 weeks i will not watch your nice videos, i am going on vacation to Scotland and let all my mobile phone, laptops and tablets at home and just enjoy that beautiful Scotland ! But as a bonus is when i come back home there will be some videos off restoring old furniture ! See you in 3 weeks time !!!

    The creativity and attention to detail you use on these pieces is inspiring and you get better with each project.
    Yes, the sanding is a necessary evil but has to be done for a good end result.
    You and certain others make me wish I was 30 or 40 years younger to get into this again.

    As the saying goes, you learn something new everyday. I have used sand blast cabinets but I've never seen one of these "portable" sand blasters. But the end results are great!!

    It’s a beautiful piece - definitely a work of art! I love the replacement for the glass in the hutch. For me, the drawers were too much - “gilding the lily.” I would have left them plain, but to each his own. A beautiful piece of furniture created from someone’s discard.
