  • It’s time for me to once again leave Bangkok and fly to America to visit friends and family for a few weeks. What better way than to try flying the best business class in the sky with a bedroom! ANA The Room is amazing! Join me for this 17 hour journey as I share ANA Business Class, ANA The Room, and several lounges on this lengthy journey from Thailand to the United States of America. The Room is just incredible, it feels more like first class than business class. All Nippon Airways has really outdone themselves with The Room. This business class seat is big enough for two people AND has doors. For the price I paid (will share that ass well) this was a phenomenal value. Come along as I sample food and drink in lounges, and in both of these business class flights on my way to the USA.

    I flew business class ANA airways as well, and it was also a phenomenal experience.
    What a difference between US airlines vs. Japanese. One of the biggest differences is the flight attendants. The Japanese are just so friendly, beautiful, and efficient.

    ANA offers value for money, they always compete on price with JAL, the other Japanese carrier. ANA has lower prices. ANA’s big advantage, they have Tokyo Haneda (close to downtown Tokyo) as their ‘homebase’, whereas JAL is at Tokyo Narita, about 75KM out of Tokyo. However, JAL is in a different league. The JAL lounge is second to none and their business and first class is superb. ANA is part of Star Alliance, JAL is part of One World. Since Thai Airways is also a Star Alliance partner, there’s the code sharing.

    With all the turbulence these days does that bed have a seatbelt, or bed belt?

    • @LifewithSerg
      @LifewithSerg  Месяц назад

      There was no turbulence on this flight. This seat does have a full seatbelt with a shoulder belt, but I only used it for takeoff and landing.

    I would buy this ticket in the heart beat if it is available from Bangkok to Washington, D.C. round trip. Unfortunately, it is much more expensive from the DC route. Plus "the room" is not available on this flight. Still old configuration for some reason.

    Those cameras are super-cool. Seem much better quality than those available to all on Qatar flights that have the camera feature. Enjoy So-Cal (or wherever you end up)

    I'm surprised there's no storage at all in the ANA. JAL has older similar seats but they have tons of storage cabinets and they introduced their new A350 plane albeit only on certain flights. I'm hoping I sit in one of the new seats soon once they retrofit them into their existing planes. Your ticket is probably a non-refundable fare so it's cheaper by a few hundred dollars. Mine is a little more as I fly into Dallas instead of LAX or SF. Looks like no direct flight into DFW without a layover in another US airport. That's a no no for me for December cause I don't want to get stuck in Chicago or Denver Airport with horrible snow! 😆

    I didn't know you were rich. Flying business class RT is like ~$3.5K vs ~$1.4K for coach. That's more than 2x the price. RUclips must be paying well these days.
