- I have lived in Thailand for 2 years, and I decided it was time to go back to America for a visit, again. Yes, I left Thailand to go back to America and I loved it. Today I will show you what I did during my first two weeks being back in the US. We started off in California, as that is where I had spent 42 years of my life. It was great to go back and see friends in the San Francisco Bay Area as well as down in Los Angeles. There was so much to see, and so many friends to meet. My last time in America was exactly one year ago. I felt perfectly at home and slid into a very comfortable routine. Between the beaches, the clean air and awesome variety of food, I was really happy to be back on this month-long trip to the US. This is just a vacation for me, I have a return ticket to go back to my home in Bangkok, Thailand. So much to do and see in the US, so let's go!

Thailand will truly miss you Mr Serg
I am back to my home in Bangkok already.
+1
Glad to see you go back to visit friends and family in the U.S. Travel, relax, and recharge your life. Can't wait to see your new clip. Love from Thailand.
I’ve got one more video from America, and I’ve already recorded to back here in Thailand. Thank you for your support.
Thank you sooo much for making a video that actually shows the USA in a positive light. So many expat RUclipsrs are constantly putting down the US and making it seem like an absolutely horrible place filled with rude, angry people. It’s as if they have to show how much they love Thailand / Philippines, etc. by constantly bashing their home country.
There are of course lots of problems in the US, but I love coming back. It’s always a great feeling.
Nah, just showing the reality of the matrix.
I feel confident the US will fix the problems soon. Love America.
Yeah, showing the reality iis tough. US can't adjust to the fact it's no longer #1 and can't control the world.
@@wichetleelamanit6195never. Too late now
I miss Thailand when I come back to the US and I miss the US when I go to Thailand.
So you also love both!
Thank you for sharing this and man you saw so much and this was just location 1!
Glad you enjoyed it!
There is no place as happy as my hometown. Because we have many memories and are accustomed to social conditions.
It’s always good to come home
so good to see you back online. Looking very sun-kissed and healthy Serg! Safe travels.
Thank you, Julie! I had a great time in the US, and now I’m back to my home in Bangkok
Nice video - Great job my friend! Also happy to have you back in Bkk!
It’s good to be back in Bangkok!
Serg..you nailed it. Fresh air and good weather. Clean healthy food as well..enjoy the.good life
It was a great trip, but I am now back in Thailand. I have two more videos from America, and then we’re back to content here in Thailand.
Fresh air good food clean air, 555 you forgot the thrashed city's full of zombies no law and order😊
Welcome.back Serg. You're.the best. Good approach with Life with Serg. Thank you and again, welcome back. We missed you
Where was the clean healthy food? LOL
I noticed you didn't get lost! Unusual for you! Thanks of the awesome content.
Yeah, it’s a lot easier to get lost in Thailand and it is in the US, at least for me
Cool vlog mate ❤
Glad you enjoyed it
Looks like an amazing trip back to the states. And you made the most of your trip, going all over the US. 😃
Yeah, it was a really fun month. Happy to be back home in Thailand.
Good luck and take care of yourself. Have a great time in your hometown. Hope you came back to Thailand soon.
Thank you. I already came back to Thailand two weeks ago. That was just a vacation in the US
Wow didn't know you got to see so much when you came back to the states Serg! Look forward to the other videos coming too 😊
I have two more videos from my trip to the US. Both of them are from Texas and the next one should be out tomorrow. Take care, Mike!
Good luck with your journey, brother.
Much appreciatedp
Living his best life! 🎉
It was a great trip, but now I am back to my home in Thailand
Brilliant! Visited many nice places. Thank you for yummy video. 😋😋 Enjoy your time!
Was a great time for sure
It nice to take a break time to time ❤
I had a wonderful one month trip visiting friends and family, and now I’m back to my home in Bangkok.
Looks amazing Serg so happy you’re having a blast back home. Venice beach 👌👌 stunning reminds me of watching breakdance back in the days . The restaurant and diners are great can’t wait for the Texas part 👍.
Yes, I had so much fun. I have two more videos from Texas, but I’m already back to my home in Thailand.
Rex is adorable! I've had two Boxers in the past, Oscar and Sugar. Such a great breed of dog. Great to see you enjoying yourself back home Serg!😊
Oh that’s great! Yeah, this is my families fifth boxer. They are wonderful dogs.
The exotic scenery of foreign countries stimulates my curiosity. I enjoyed watching it.
I have two more videos from America, I think you will really like the second one
@@LifewithSerg Thank you. I enjoyed it very much.
Hey, I always love your videos, nice switch up from the channel , last I watched you was taking a motorbike tour during songkran
Yeah, I needed to go back to the US to visit friends and family. But after a month there, I am now back in Thailand.
+10 for Rex, look like you are having a great time there mate, Cheer!
Yeah, he’s an awesome dog. I have actually just returned back to Thailand.

Hi Serg,
I'm glad you had an awesome time in the US, and I'm also happy that you're back in Thailand. I love your Thai content; you show us so many fascinating things about the country. I hope to see you around Thailand one day. Maybe we can grab something to eat and have some drinks-that would be awesome. Take care.
It’s great to be back! I’ve got two more videos from the US that I need to release and I’ve already started filming content here in Thailand. So lots of stuff coming up. See you soon!

Nice video Serg! I was back in San Jose in early May visiting as well.
Loved my time in the US. I am back in this man now.
I once lived in Gainesville, the northern part of Florida. Now I live in Thailand my, home country, but still very miss Florida.
I’ve never lived in Florida, but I do like to visit
Farewell 🎉🎉🎉
This was just a 3 1/2 week vacation. I am now back in Thailand.
Love Florida. Beautiful sky, beaches, and people. ❤❤❤
Yes, it’s so nice
Loved the video, my guess is your now back in the Kingdom. Looked fun, smart to not come to Arizona, hot as usual around 113....well thanks for the great video...Matt and Lucy....
Yes, guys I just got back to Thailand. Had a great month long stay in the US, and will try to go back for a visit around Thanksgiving.
🎉 Looking forward for your adventures there, man! I visited the US some times and loved the national parks and to shopping 😂
I have one more video from the US, and then I’ve already shot a couple videos back here in Thailand
Hello 👋 I recently discovered your chnl with an ADV search. I’ve been bingeing your scooter tours. I watch on the tv so I’ve been 👍🏻 but not able to comment. I’m from Vancouver CA but live in Buriram. Continued success with RUclips 🤓
It’s a great little motorbike. As you’ve obviously noticed I’ve covered quite a bit of distance on it with no problems. Glad you’re enjoying the videos. I’m planning another tour very soon.
Good luck
Thank you
❤ I love this is a video.
Glad yon enjoyed it.
nice vlog best wishes enjoy life..
Thank you so much 🙂 I am back to my home in Thailand
When I got sent to San Diego, I insisted on having 2 rest days. Spend 2 days in Santa Monica. Had a great time and got lots of pictures. I picked a camera up on the way out of Australia and started my DSLR photography journey 15 years ago.
I would absolutely never ever live in Los Angeles. Even the San Francisco, Bay Area, where I lived for 42 years, it’s just ridiculous now. The politicians in that state are just screwing everything up.
I am glad you enjoyed the States....The USA is huge and yes there may be trouble spots but the majority of the USA is great...even tho I chose to retire in Thailand. ..
( I made that decision way back in 1972 when I was first stationed here in the military))...Welcome back to Thailand !
Yes loved my trip back to the US, and now I am back in Thailand.
Balance is the key to life, movement is medicine when you get to a certain age, my husband and I go back and forth too, I need our Bay Area clean air and not always air conditioner blowing at me.
Yes it was great to go back and visit. Had a great time but now I’m back in Thailand.
You scared me when I saw the title. You rascal😂 I hope you have a great time back home in US. Take care and stay safe.💜💜
I thought about it, but I don’t think it’s too much Clickbait. I did leave Thailand. I actually just came back to my home in Bangkok. Not to worry.
@@LifewithSerg The title is perfect ! Love it Good job!😂💜👍
I don’t understand why it’s the scared about it …He American not Asian 😅 meaning he can moved back,to his country besides USA have beautiful places to live , like Florida. And for last. That’s common in RUclipsrs put fake tittles to get the attention for viewers , don’t believe everything you see at first.
My first comment was too early. This whole video was FULL of great food.
Yes, definitely ate quite a bit. Lol.
Great video. Good to see that you have a great time.
Btw, your friend´s cat is not a Persian. It´s a Siames cat as far as i can see😎
Look forward to next video👍
You’re absolutely correct about my friends cat. I had already uploaded the video and realized that I made the mistake. That’s OK.
Hello from Phuket Thailand 👋
Hello!
Serg, it seems like you have a great time everywhere. You are so positive. How about the prices vs Thailand? How about the ladies?
I try to stay positive. Doesn’t always work. Lol. Some things are definitely cheaper in the US, but most things are more expensive. I’ve been back to my home in Thailand for two weeks now, so there won’t be any kind of comparison video this point.

I Love Florida ..and missing ..Disney ...

We would love to meet you! We love your channel and we just relocated to Weatherford Texas and we have a really neat burger place you could eat at and film with us! ❤
Thanks so much for the kind offer. I am actually now back in Thailand.
Long time ago, I used to rolling sakting at Venice Beach. (I am a horrible sakting..haha) 😂😂😂 thanks, for bring back my great memories.
That cement pool looked awesome. I would’ve loved to have skated, but obviously I did not bring my skateboard with me on this trip.

@@LifewithSerg just glad you didn’t get lost 🤣🤣
Thumbs up 👍 Serge
Thanks buddy!
Nice to see some US content. Thanks for sharing! How's the homeless situation in general?
It’s still really really bad. I think taking care of the homeless has become a business in the US, so they don’t want to actually cure it.
0:49 Thur Jun 13th, 2024 Good Morning 🌞 Serg. From Gilbert Arizona USA 🇺🇸. OMG I really miss your videos 🎥. I'm glad you're enjoying your trip to the States. Oh, Canters Deli, the best deli around. I totally understand you, what gets me most with THAILAND, is the Dangers of Driving, Walking or even crossing the road.., for I felt like living in a Prison.., now where I live driving is a Pleasure, a driving is Safe, ..OK Weather not the same, but the constant heat in Thailand actually got to me…, we are all different so I totally understand each persons view,

Just for vacation. I’m now back to my home in Bangkok.
@@LifewithSerg Oh good as I enjoy your videos!
Hope you come back to Thailand again.... take care
This is just for vacation, I am back in Thailand this week.
@@LifewithSerg Oh I see.... glad to hear that
@@LifewithSerg I was worried for a sec.
Price shocker here in USA is unreal. Need to go back to Thailand.
Prices were definitely higher on food than less times there a year ago, but I didn’t pay too much attention to it. I had a nice vacation in the US visiting friends and family, and now I’m back to my home in Thailand.
Fun fact about Ocean Beach in S.F., It is one of the top deadliest beach in CA. The undertows are no joke. Many swimmers have gotten pulled out and never made it back in.
I’ve never gone swimming in the beach just for that reason. It’s very cold, and I’ve read that the undertow is quite dangerous.
😊 what do you think between US beaches and Thailand beaches?
The beaches on the West Coast of America are very cold and you need a wetsuit to go swimming in most of them. The East Coast beaches are very warm and really nice. You can’t really compare them to Thailand, because Thailand has some truly amazing beaches around some of the islands.
It's crazy hot here right now in Washington, D.C. but at this point of you staying in Thailand for so long, it's probably freezing to you here in the US lol!
I was very comfortable in California because it was cool, Texas was a little humid, and of course, Florida had the highest humidity. Yes, I see that the US is experiencing the beginning of a serious heatwave.
I miss usa.
Yes there are things I miss about the US as well.
@@LifewithSerg Enjoy your stay; from Thailand with love!
Best beaches are on the Florida panhandle
The water was truly amazing
Cool video-Did you notice starting salary for SFPD and most departments in California-100k-147k ? That starting pay is my final salary after 32 years!
Yes, even at my old department the top step deputy pay is right at $70 per hour. But the cost-of-living in California is very high. As I’m sure you know.
Your foods there i not see much with green color & no red no spicy ... how's yoummy ?
In Thailand so varity of ingredians so many green vegs. also so many of flavors in one dish.and are all fresh too.
The food was delicious. I find it most Thai food is extremely unhealthy because it is all fried and there’s so much sugar in it. Enjoy Thai food, but I just enjoy food from all over the world as well.
Will you be doing a budget on the cost of your stay in the USA?
I stayed in the US for four weeks, three of those weeks were friends with family. Not counting the cost of the ticket, I probably spent around four to $5000 including one week and Airbnb, about five different flights, and a months worth of rental cars. Also went out to lots of different restaurants, etc.
I would like to travel to FL Keys and Everglades but getting a visa is very difficult.😅
I’ve actually never been to either of those two areas. I think next time I am in Florida I will have to go and check it out.
No sticker shock on how much more things cost (esp dining out) in California after being gone two years?
I was actually back in the US exactly a year ago as well. However, I would see there between then and now prices seem to have risen another 10%. To be totally honest with you, I didn’t give any of it a second look. I just enjoyed myself and paid the prices.
Hi 🙋🏻. You just visit or move back to California?
Just a visit. I did mention that in the video. 😋
Great video, I was going to make a small donation but I see you are obviously loaded with money so I gave it a miss, keep up the good work.
Most these youtubers live a great life and have money behind them.. Save your hard earned money
Thanks, it’s the thought that counts
Love the username, cornholio, however, you’re wrong. The majority of RUclipsrs definitely struggle making money on RUclips.
สวัสดีค่ะ🙏
Hi! 🙏🇹🇭
Florida is fun, but generally very expensive to travel there.
Yeah, I can’t be expensive.
Wow, I know beautiful long beach california from the song of Snoop Dogg - Who Am I (What's My Name) ? / I am Thai 🤣
Yes, that’s the one. I was very very close to that area. I have two more videos from my trip to America, but I am now back in Thailand.
How price for living in USA?
I don’t understand this question. It all depends how much money you make.
How much did all that cost?😮
If you count in the round-trip business class ticket, I probably spent around $7-8k
Serg are shocked by how things have gone up in price since the last time you were in the US?
The last I was there was exactly a year ago, I would say that a lot of the food items were definitely up about 10 to 15%
Going to Austin?
Oh yes! I spent a whole week there. I am now back to my home in Thailand.
Serge isn't with only he, himself and him this time.
Yes. Serg actually knows people. 😂
After u go to visit usa do u not change your mine to stay in america so nice country
It was great to go back to America and visit friends and family. I do miss it, but I am now back to my home in Thailand.
🇹🇭❤🇺🇸
I am now back to my home in Thailand!
Just curious what you do for a living in Bangkok, just curious that's all.
I am retired, this RUclips channel is my hobby.
@@LifewithSerg you look pretty young to be retired. I'm early 60s but still work, wish I was retired though, maybe in a few years.
Wow Siamese cat so cute. In Thailand, the Siamese cat is one of the auspicious cat breeds. Thai people believe that anyone who raises this breed of cat will have a prosperous business and will have no shortage of money.🤣🤣🙏🙏
My mistake, it’s a Persian cat.
Serg how old where you when you got your first colonoscopy
I’ve only had one so far. I did it a little bit after I turned 50.
We're the meals a couple hundred bhat?
Some were. Some were several thousands.
Anyone else mix up this channel with Greeny Travels?
Oh no YOU DIDN’T!! Lmao. 🤣😂
Yes-both police officers!
Thailand gets old sooner or later. Too many people trying to be overly positive and hide this fact in their videos. Good luck in your wandering.
I think any place can get old sooner or later if you’re not happy within yourself. I had a great month visiting friends and family in America, but now I’m back to my home in Thailand.
Thailand never gets old to me; it has been my second home since 2007. I absolutely love it. I get to stay about 5-6 months each year in Thailand, and it's not enough. There's so much to see, so much to explore, and so many new things popping up every week, month, or year. There's always something new. If I can, in future, I'll move there for good.
Be careful just a little thing could cost big trouble in Thailand
Yes, after living in Thailand for two years, I have some understanding of how things work here. ✌️🙏
I’m happy you had a nice positive trip to the US. Some RUclipsrs are so negative about the USA. They act like it’s North Korea 😂
It’s definitely lots of problems in America, but I’m happy to go back and visit every time.
When WWIII breaks out you probably would've had to go back at some point anyways.
WWIII?! I don’t think it’s going to come to that. Besides, if that were to happen, I think I’d be a lot better off in Thailand than in the US.
Not many 20 year old ladies in the US wanting to date a man over 30. Even at 26, one is an old man.
Rents are high, mortgages are hard to get into, interest rates are high. Easy to get fired for no reason. No national medical care.
These are facts, not emotional judgements.
But the US has great natural scenery, superb infrastructure and super-slick and efficient services. Super-easy to get credit. A good country to have a passport from and to keep money in.
But both Thailand and the US are nice if you have money, less money in Thailand, more money in the US. Either of these countries will be great and you will be walking around with a grin on your face.
Thailand: you have to deal with the racial difference, having to learn a difficult language, and still people not speaking to you, stares, double pricing, less than efficient services, mockery, and a lot less common sense.
But the food is great and the nightlife is good. Some beaches are nice.
Nothing personal, but it sucks to be poor in either place.
I dated quite a few very cute girls in their 20s, while I was in my late 40s living in the US. So I would say it’s all based on personal experience. Money doesn’t buy you happiness, but if I was given the choice, I’d rather be rich and miserable than poor and miserable. Lol. But I do understand your points.
@@LifewithSerg It can be done, but it's not easy. This is why I said " not many" rather than " none". Most men cannot. Personal experiences do not equal general tendencies.
@@vidong1704 I understand that. But I never look at what other people cannot do. The best piece of advice I can give anyone in life, is don’t look at what others are doing, focus on yourself and push the boundaries of what you think you cannot do.
See any russian ships and subs off the coast 😂😂😂😂. I will give you 6-12 months to see if you change your mind 😂
lol. As I mentioned this was just a moment long trip to visit friends and family.
Best of luck.. enjoy California Prices.. 😂😂. Homeless is still there. Don't kid yourself. Gone big money. Tell us your US prices... Lol. 😅😅. Glad you're at peace with yourself...
Of course they’re still homeless in California. I was just talking about one specific area. Don’t take things out of context. I take good care of my finances, so trips like this are no problem for me. Not sure why you’re throwing this passive aggressive nature. Enjoy.
You probably are running away from your lady boy 😂
Don’t worry, there are plenty left for you. Enjoy!
