Awesome vid! Would anyone mind explaining to me how tide height and low/high tide effects wave height/quality? I know at high tide it’s more shorebreak but idk how it would effect the waves other then that
Waves on the outside reefs and sand bars tend to feather and not fully break. They roll in for a while and eventually start to close out on the shorebreak... a thicker board or a board with a lot of volume helps you catch the initial crumbling outside wave and transition to the inside
