Today I answer a question only about 5 people have ever asked: is it possible to beat System Shock 2, using ONLY the (arguably worst) weapon; the wrench?!

I subbed within four seconds. I was gonna anyway bc wrench only ss2/melee only is fun as hell (I hope you used the speed booster trick in the body of the many) but
Paul… we all miss him.
Anyway, you need the psi sword or energy weapon or at least AP to hurt SHODAN, I believe she’s the only actual theoretical obstacle for wrench only. That’s why I pack laser rapier, and just go melee only
Well I may or may not have found a work around for that… (spoilers)

Do you think you're going to do this run with the System Shock 1 remake? I mean, it'd be more challenging since you have to go out of your way decently far into the first floor just to get the wrench, but I imagine it's theoretically possible (and if it's not then you can still just do it with the pipe)

@@ChrisTries no problem man, your content is dope. I didn't know about it either until I actually played the game for myself, but yeah, you can find a wrench hidden on the medical floor as a reference to System Shock 2. I think it's a little faster than the pipe but it has less range

being allowed to use psi abilities makes this honestly not even a challenge. Adrenaline + Easy mode is too powerful for this to be an actual challenge run.
Totally agree. I decided after this video that all future CYB’s are going to be on high difficulty. Call it a learning curve for me. Still died a lot though.
You can't kill Shodan with a Wrench?! does that apply to the Crystal Shard? i could have sworn i've killed her with the Crystal Shard :S
I honestly don’t know! Maybe, as it’s a more specialised melee weapon, but the wrench is a no-no.
yes, yes you can lol. Nightdive Studios stream host Miss_Slaughter basically beat the entire game with Wrench only. Frustrating and hilarious to watch.
