- I never asked for this... to be my next video, but the other challenge I started was just too hard. Join me in my quest to find out if you can beat DXHR without using any augmentations (including hacking...!), made doubly difficult by playing on the hardest difficulty, having no health regeneration, no radar and a mod called 'Hardcore Revival' to spice things up further still.

@@ChrisTries Its interesting because we went about our runs completely differently, when I first investigated, i looked at without augments, and it was just too easy.
But you took out the life regen and added the realism mod to make it a good challenge.
whereas for me, I decided to keep it vanilla and remove even more
@sirrando and this is why I’m really looking forward to your video mate. It’s not the same run done by someone else; it’s different enough to be its entirely own category - I’d never imagined doing it without items/weapons etc. I’m just chuffed there’s now going to be more DX content on YT.

A few fun facts: You can beat the Zhau's Penthouse Guards mini-boss in 3 seconds with 3 well placed gas mines. No alerts. No kills.
Also, I think you can pierce Zhau's shields in the last boss fight with the Laser Rifle. So no need to bother with anything else.
Hello! Thanks for watching! Yeah eventually the gas grenades worked… I was just dying SO often. The boss trick with the laser rifle was something I knew about, BUT was it not more fun to watch me suffer and do it the hard way 🤣?

@@adrianalexanderveidt344 I don’t mind you asking at all. So Mankind Divided and Invisible War no aug runs are on the way, I’ve also got runs planned for KOTOR 1/2, Red Faction, Max Payne, Dishonoured, Mass Effect… to name a few. In other words I’m not going anywhere for a while, for better or worse 😂.
About the gas bomb, the game doesn’t bring that much attention to it but it looks like when you shoot the glass you're preventing the chemicals from mixing properly stoping the chemical reaction from creating a lethal desperson of gas.
Exactly this! Why there is even a keypad option to disable the bomb, I do not know.
@ChrisTries probably so players can disable the bomb silently, and without a firearm.

I’ll never say never to F:NV, one of my favourite games, but the legend that was Mitten Squad conquered NV and Nerbit does a fantastic job on a far more regular basis that I can currently at least 😂. Who knows, we’ll see!

But did you know (spoiler) there is a code to disable the 3 clone things it’s 2010.
I’m seriously considering any future DXHR runs allow hacking 🤔
@@ChrisTries But I think you have to look at a pocket secretary to find said code of 2010 to deactivate the clone things vs Zhao or kill Hugh Darrow for it
