omg, I just found you! My grandmother used to cook the best pigs feet and greens. She's passed now. I can just listen to you talk and cook all day. It brings me such good feelings. Like hearing my Maw maw cooking all over again. I'm gonna have to try these for sure. Thank you
Thank you for posting this recipe, its just like my moms! She grew up in Virgina and used to make this for me when I was little but I never learned how. I tried once to boil some pigs feet and I think the two step process is what does the trick! - Dumping out the first pot of water, rinsing and starting over - they came out delicious! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you and God bless you!
Oh my goodness , I do love pig feet . I just cook them with water and salt . Cook in a pressure cooker till they fall of the bone ; eat them with dried beans and cornbread. Yummy. I'm not a seasoning person . I enjoyed the video.👋👋👋❤❤❤
Thanks
Acidity!!! You were on point using the Italian dressing in place of the apple cider vinegar. You know what you doing! Great job!!!
Yes! Thank you!
I made these pig feet just like you said. I added all my different spices, must have been like 8 of them and a little Apple cider vinegar. I cooked mine for like a hour and a half and they were so so soft and man that seasoning was fire. Thank you for your recipe. Will be making these again.
I think I'm going to make this tomorrow, with some collards and rice on the side and watch "Raisin in the Sun" and just kick back and relax!
Me to 😊
I hope it's the original "Raisin In The Sun" because the updated one will make you lose your appetite 😂 Enjoy your meal 🍲 and movie 🎬
See I like to use fresh veggies in mine's onions garlic green peppers red pepper vinegar and some seasonings if you don't have vinegar use pickle 🥒 juice works every time
I never would have thought of using Italian dressing in cooking my Trotters! Thanks Sis, I'll try it.
That broth has a lot of collagen. How you can tell is when you put the soup in the fridge overnight and if it turns to gello like then that's good collagen. I add chicken bones and 3 chicken thighs to my pigs feet soup. What I'm after is the collagen.
Bravo for the Italian dressing to your pig feet. Been doing it for years. Also maybe try adding the Italian dressing to potato salad. Lord have mercy. Together what a meal. ❤
New subscriber!Chile making this tommorow for Sunday dinner. Thank you . Keep it coming🙏❤
Heyyy welcome to my channel im happy to have you
Im a white chick who loves some of this type food my Polish grandma made pig feet, pig ears tripe etc. I miss her cooking. Looks delicious! I might have to buy some and try this myself causr the Hormel ones in the jar are too salty too vinegary .
Thank you so much, after looking at 300 pigs feet recipes! In my humble opinion, yours is the best! I heard someone laughing in the background too lol. You know what they say good food happy family! lol. The pre -boil you do is, is key. And I agree you wanna boil them a little first without seasonings, to remove some of the scum. Then add seasonings. There is one major rule everyone watching this video must always follow! And that is this, "do not annoying the cook"! lol. Them is some good looking pigs feets! Somebody hold me back!
😂😂😂😂 welcome welcome to my channel john its a pleasure to have you🌺🌺🌺 i am glad to know you like my recipe. they really did turn out mmm mmm good. hunni you betta get you some i share.lol i have a game playing hubby that was probably laughing in the background. thank you for stopping by. dont be a stranger. i invite you to join my family if you havent. do be no stranger!!! i also do lots of live videos
This looks good. It’s been many years since I’ve had them but I’ll make some soon.
Lord I wish I can taste them now. I'm making this for my family Sunday ❤
Tina I miss your show today but God blessed you and your husband and family have a blessed day today
Why am I watching this at 1am.? This looks amazing.
I always wash them with vinegar and salt first and then I boil them and get rid of that scum, then I cook them. I do this with all of my meats.
It really does help. Welcome to my channel I'm happy to have you💜
How much vinegar and salt? Do you soak them in for how long in the vinegar water?
I always use Italian dressing in mine. Cooking some now! Yours looks great 👍
Hi Tiana;
Another trick my father would use is to put a couple of potatoes in the broth to soak up the salt. As is, I can almost taste corn bread dipped in that glorious broth!!!! A most excellent video Tiana, thanks for posting!!!!
Hey Tiana! I love pigs feet with greens especially! Girl wish I was there, I'd tear them up! Love and hugs from Dallas TX
Thank you for this recipe. You're right about rinsing them after a quick boil. My grandma would rub them in salt and lemon after the first boil. This reminds me of that. You're adorable that that you keep calling em pig tails. Haha. Happy holidays
We have the same naaammeeee love me some pig feet stewed or bbqd. Miss the way my momma used to make it yours looks so gooood
Hey welcome to the family thank you for coming do you spell it the same way too
This video is very good for anyone who want to know how to cook pig feet but I no desire to eat this or the pig tails. Thank you Tiana for sharing. I will be waiting for the next video!
Thanks For the tips it Looks Amazing!! Love from a Native New Yorker/ Island Girl!!🥰😍
I have a friend that uses the pork packets that come in the Ramen Noodle packs! Depending upon how many pounds of pig feet she's cooking, determines how many packs she'll put in her pig feet! She swears that it gives it great flavor than the other bouillion flavors!! Speaking of bouillion powders, here where I live, they have the tomato and chicken bouillion powder with the red top and a red chicken on the label! Now that is delicious in any of your Mexican foods and Italian dishes, really anything you want to put it in! 🤔🤨🧐😉😊✌❤🙏
I’m definitely following this recipe, my mouths watering look good af 😄
Wow I don't know how long I have not had pig feet but this looks really good my aunt my mom made it long time ago but they're getting older and they don't make this anymore I'm growing up now I got to do it myself I've been wanting to eat pig feet this year but have not succeeded yet but this is making my mouth water man I wish she lived next door to me
Oh boy would love to try that. My mum used to cook pigs feet many many years ago. Not sold so much nowdays but am going to check the goumet market/butchers in my city.

I tasting your food so many times she reminds me of when I was a little girl and my mother had me cooking and give me directions from her room, and I'm tasting the food and I'm tasting the food and I kept tasting until the food was all gone... 😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂
I like that addition. Must remember to add to other dishes😄
Thank you welcome to the family im happy to have you.
My grandmother and mother used to use Texas Pete hot sauce and ketchup 30 minutes before they get done all the way lord have mercy
The seasonings are great but I have to pour off that first boil of water before I add them.
My boyfriend is hispanic and he likes for me to use the chicken bullion seasoning in meat that is not necessarily chicken as well. Like when i make his menudo for example. Thought i was the only one. I dont eat pigs feet cooked any manner or menudo for that matter but im surely not above fixing it for my man. He deserves it. I have a question somewhere in this comment. Oh, if you said so in the video i missed it can you please tell me about how long you boiled them and any tips on how to keep them from sticking. Thanks
Trying this right now! I use to live in Dothan but now South Texas. Got a hankering for pig feet and now I'm making them your way.
Oh okay small world! I know texas had to be a big change. Thank you for watching and yes you're going to love them my way. Let me know what you think when you give it a try. 💜
@@TianaIcanonlybeme Hi..I made them yesterday and ate them all! Very delicious and will be making your recipe again!
Hi🙋🏽♀️ I did learn a few tips from your recipe however, can you be more specific about the chicken seasoning and the beef seasoning? It looked like powdered bouillon but I’m not sure🤔also u we’re referring to the pig feet as pig tails, be careful not to consume too much pork😋🥰
I just got mature enough to admit that I want to try pig feet. This looks so good. Do all these seasoning mixes have salt?? I’m concerned about my sodium intake.
I'm not sure exactly what I've used I have to go back and watch. I'm pretty sure it's not. I season not salt to death. But you have to season to your own taste.
Nothin wrong wit adding Italian dressing that's wassup 🤤 do yo thang
I'm cooking mine with black eye peas in the pig feet...can I still add the vinegar??
Yes you can. Just dont add much. welcome to my channel I'm happy to have you
