This man was a giant in his time and still is to me , for his books and teachings , Roots had such an effect on me as a 13yr old in 1977 , have always wished I could write a book 10% as good as Roots was .

He plagiarized Roots from a book called the African by a White man named Harold Courlander

When you post your videos on your channel, I hope you'll do some more research and present the truth about Haley, like how he was an informant and him plagiarizing Roots.

The only good thing I got out of this is how to be mindful of snakes!

In this speech he said he went to visit all the old ladies who would tell the stories on the porch in Henning, but in another speech he said only Cousin Georgia was alive at that time which makes more sense. I'm discombobulated! Or did he go visit those ladies children who lived in the same area after they died to talk to them? Please let me know.

He was really only talking about cousin Georgina who was around

The reason you're confused about his story is because Haley 's supposed life story was stolen from a White man's perception of African enslavement experience. Haley is a liar. Look up Harold Courlander

Many people are saying this and that, but has anyone bothered to trace his research?

Black commentator Stanley Crouch called Haley a ruthless hustler regarding his book Roots. Regarding the Trans-Atlantic slave trade, Sowell remarks that Roots “presented some crucially false pictures of what had actually happened-false pictures that continue to dominate thinking today.”People were only really captivated by Roots because he sold it as a real story, claiming it was an outline of his own ancestry. Black historians have also exposed Kunta Kinte as a fictional character, who never existed. Despite the claim by Haley that he was a direct descendant of Kunta Kinte.

Haley was working as an informant for the government when he sicked himself on Malcolm X.

Does that mean all his supposed research is also false?

    • @salimtahir9654

This is false. The nation was already infiltrated to the hilt. Malcolm was marked for destruction by everyone surrounding him, plain and simple.

Absolutely not! Haley was an informant when he sicked himself on Malcom X.
