I wish you guys had a guy who knows how to drive and setup a krx. 35 zillas for over 500 miles never smelled or squealed a clutch, stock clutch, rides like a dream and owns windrock wet or dry. Outside of high speed it is the best
Stock clutching on 35’s though not to bad. A bit of clutch adjustment probably fix that belt smell issue. Awesome Beautiful machine. Get well Justin! Hope your feeling better.
Looking forward to seeing u guys in windrock. Wish y’all was doing more extreme trails there like I’m used to seeing. But I def understand the why. But hoping to be able to talk y’all into a night ride on some different, slightly more aggressive, climbs 😎
You smell belt? Were you in low or high? Korey helped me get my Pro 4 seater. I have 40" Trepadors with a AA Stage 3 clutch weighted 0,0,5. I never had belt issues in low even with stock clutch. Had bad burn in high and reverse. I even still get some belt slippage in high if I'm doing steep climbs in rocks. Note: You have to fabricate the wheel wells lower rear of the front wells.
Heck I’ve got a 22 pro xp and it’s the same thing low seems low till you start crawling then the belt smell is non stop even after clutching it but I will say it takes a lot to smoke the belt even after crawling all day👍🏼😂
@@ChaseLandMgmt I had the same problem on my 32’s through a clutch kit in it and no more slippage even when crawling but you can smell the belt because of the new pressure getting put on it when it’s getting beat on
@@austinmyers8945 makes sense! Glad to hear a clutch kit solved the initial slippage issue. Who’s kit did you use and do you like it? I also have a 4 seater so maybe thats why I don’t get much belt smell
I went with an aftermarket assassins stage 3 kit and got all the little extra stuff with it like the butter shift washers and dampeners but I highly recommend it it’s great
I really don’t like the clutching set up in the pro r, I think it’s just to soft down low. Needs more clamping force on the belt at low speed. Heading to ride royal blue from Michigan in the morning and we have pro r on 37’s going and a turbo r on 35’s, I guess we will see... 👍great video guys.
So I have a full AA clutch kit in the R. I’m pulling it back out and I’ll wait for something else to come along that hopefully works better for crawling
@@korienealis3284 I had the AA kit as part of the stage 3 kit in my 21 xp turbo and quickly realized this was not a setup for rock crawling. I added their helix and it made it slightly better. I decided to go back to stock and was much happier. I will not be using AA for clutching for the Pro R unless they have a dialed kit just for the rocks
45 in low? Lol. RIP belt. There is no reason for a low that high...no wonder the belt was smoking with those 35s. My Can Am does like maybe 20 in low...never smelled my belt once. I will say, at high speed, that suspension, from what I've seen in videos looks amazing and composed, especially for a RZR, Even in the slow stuff the suspension looks smooth. Game changer for Polaris, but low range should be low, no sense in it being geared so high. I bet a 20% reduction or even 30 would really help in the rocks on the bigger, heavier tires.
Practically impossible to burn the belt in low on 35s.. in high is where ya smell it. Never smell belt on my 35 370s or zillas in low.. it would climb a wall
I should have done an intro on my machine. In this video I was running the full clutch kit from Aftermarket Assassins. It has so far been impossible to dial in for any type of low speed crawling. I’m pulling it all back out after endless adjustments and weight changes and no success.
May want to look into the belt smell, IE, specs, alignment, etc....We hit very aggressive trails and I had my Pro R....only time I smelled belt was a steep incline in reverse due to a trail washout.
Driving style is causing the belt smell. Throttle needs to be smooth when you’re crawling through shit like this. Your guy is constantly on and off the throttle.
The Pro R is a REALLY cool machine, super SUPER nice. But I'm just not impressed with them thus far. They are just to heavy and seem to belly on everything
Geometry in my 2021 X3 XRC is also horrible

Great review guys! Can't wait for my '23 Pro R in January!
Billy update your ride command and you will have the new gauge layout! 🤘
Stock clutching on 35’s though not to bad. A bit of clutch adjustment probably fix that belt smell issue. Awesome Beautiful machine. Get well Justin! Hope your feeling better.
Who built the cage on the pro r?

Should've let yall take my turbo r for a ride while we were there to compare it
That on-off-on-off driving style is what burns the belt.
Rock mode is nice for loading up and driving around a parking lot. Otherwise I prefer sport mode.
Great video ,nice comparison too ,keep it up
Thought about going to 35 zillas on my Turbo S. What are your suggestions as far as gearing, and clutch?
@justin I’ll be at the windrock meet up with my Pro R if you want to try it out.
What roll cage is on the pro r ? Looks bad ass
Get better justin we missed you great video guys you guys went over everything but the price difference lol
So who’s gonna be the one to get one?
Why are y’all riding in low for so long when you don’t need it at all. This hurt me to watch.
Sweet machine, the exhaust note I can’t get over though. Maybe it’ll grow on me.
Yep, I am thinking sound deadoning on the back wall.....I am not liking the drone sounds at 45-5500 rpm at all
I don’t think the reverse issue is gearing I think the throttle is tamed down like in rock mode.
U guys need to come to rush off road in rush ky
Heck I’ve got a 22 pro xp and it’s the same thing low seems low till you start crawling then the belt smell is non stop even after clutching it but I will say it takes a lot to smoke the belt even after crawling all day👍🏼😂
Only time I smell belt on my 21 pro is when I stuff it at 50 mph with my 33’s on. Never smell it in low when I’m crawling or in the woods.

Bikeman clutch kit won't slip, 26 mph in low max
I love the 35s on my Pro R, I am able to climb with great ground clearance
Why did they quit making videos?
What could you do about the belt smell? Given the type of riding you do what kind of changes would you make?

Needs a Bikeman clutch kit , never slips in low with 35, my top speed in low is 26
Sounds like a Detroit diesel screaming though the woods at 5mph lol
Wow, 10 months and no upvote. Have one, from 3:00 it literally sounds like a logging truck.
#wemissTraitor. Get well soon Justin!!
Where is justin
So Billy you're saying they drove almost as nice as ticky, ? Lol.
Awesome rigs boys. Thanks for sharing. Stay safe. God bless.
Love the videos gang keep it rolling. Thinking of getting x3 xrc 72 or turbo r. What's yalls professional opinion? Thanx

I rode with 35’s on my pro r all weekend with WDTO at windrock and never smelled my belts
Is cool.... but, still rather have my Maverickx3.
That pro r is a weapon.
Great informative vid guys! Love the feedback on the Pro R.
Pro R looks awesome 😊
I have the same machine and I feel like I’m over doing it ! What trail
I want one! Ha ha, nice video guys!
Factory steering is shit !!! Needs a hess brace for sure.
So how much water or mud can you get into with the exposed belt driven alternator?
It hasn’t been an issue at all
What trailer do you guys use?
Love Mine with 35 Rox's
Great video yall
That trail was awesome
Great comments
Sick trail! 🤙🏼
Ya'll need to try a Turbo R ultimate out and see what the similarities are,and which one Ya'll like better, especially for the money!!
If money was an object, wouldn't be hitting those type trails
Turbo R is absolutely awesome....I have both....but the Pro R is still next level.
