Micki Free, a Grammy award-winning singer, songwriter, and musician who was a member of Shalamar before going solo, sits down with Krystal Allan of Wake Up With The CW on KSNV News 3 Las Vegas. He discusses his current residence in Las Vegas at Backstage Bar & Billards, playing with Carlos Santana, reuniting with former Shalamar members on stage at his Las Vegas residence, remembering playing with Prince as well as playing basketball with Prince and having Prince's cook prepare them blueberry pancakes after the game, and his new music album Turquoise Blue on Thursday, April 27, 2023.
He is best known for his Shalamar songs such as "Dancing in the Sheets," "Games," "Don't Get Stopped in Beverly Hills," "Circumstantial Evidence," "My Girl Loves Me," "Amnesia," "Caution This Love Is Hot," and more, as well as his solo releases including "Tattoo Burn," "Mojo Black Coffee," and "World on Fire."
