- Hello IT Pros, this is Alvendril! In this Video, "Bios Password Reset | Asus Prime Motherboard". I show how to reset the Admin or User password, also known as Bios Password. This process works for many Asus motherboards, the position of the Pins depends on the model you have. Hope it helps.

And my problem was I type the correct password for BIOS admin but still the BIOS said I typed the wrong password, now I can't configure anything.

friend, in my case I have a b450 prime, and the pins say CLRTC CHASIS, I put them together and now I get the screen that I must access the bios to configure but the password is still there, so I lost full access to my pc, I also did the process by removing the battery a few minutes, and nothing has happened, before I could access the bios without problem, and just today appeared password without anyone put one, out of nowhere, have any soucion, since my pc was useless, helpppp:c
thanks for the detailed video. however, even after removing the cr2032 batteire (for several hours) I still have the same problem. access to the bios is not possible. however, this is the asus h110m-k. it was installed in a hyundai office pc.are there also suggestions?

@@MyITWorkshop I've already watched the video, but unfortunately the manufacturer's documentation isn't very helpful either. thanks for the tip though. I should have mentioned that I also shorted the EPROM vcc to -. it's all useless
@@boybirkenstock6124 Sometimes it is not possible, I have encountered it when doing repairs on Asus motherboards. Another good option (which works for NO scientific reasons) is to leave the CMOS out overnight with the RAM removed (and power cable out of course). This method seems to drain it that little bit more on occasion, good 'last ditch' attempt though.

In that part I placed the plain head screwdriver between the 2 pins and made them touch each other through the screwdriver for a few seconds.

If the motherboard has the pins to reset the Bios password then the process should be similar.
Mine is stuck at press f1 but it lets me press alt + Ctrl+del to restart😢 can't get into bios
