Hi, thanks for your comment. My knowledge is self taught, by reading books, websites, watching youtube videos and through my own practical experiences of finding what works and what doesn't. I review items that I have paid for myself and share my experiences, I like Victron stuff because it is good quality and works, I am not paid or sponsered by them. Thanks for watching my videos and I am glad they are useful to others. Thanks Solartiger from United Kingdom.
You could do with some larger solar panels. Really cool set up. Ever thought of going up to 24v to reduce losses over the long cable runs to the garden ?
I can't fit bigger panels on the shed roof, especially on the side that faces south. The panels are wired in series (about 60V) as I am using a Victron MPPT solar charge controller, this reduces losses in the cable from the solar panels. Solartiger
Fair enough. Ok perhaps I should have watched more of your previous videos. Missed the odd one or two. Good work with the victron connect and linking everything up. Have been thinking of doing something similar myself
You've made alot of progress. I got to see your early videos. 1 things for sure. U say your doing it as a hobby. The trend I see is a day when your whole home runs of solar energy. Solartiger and his solar charged ev.. That title won't shock me. We hobbyists have that tendency. Make peace with that trend sir.
Thanks for watching my videos and following my channel, yes I started small and simple and things have progressed over the years. glad we have similar interests. At the moment here in the UK, it is winter, that means dull, cloudy and lots of rainy weather, very little sun for solar, hence why I upgraded my battery charger. Thanks for watching again. Solartiger
Congratulations on your new charger. Saludos desde Chile
