I'm looking into buying a mic to record vocals into maschine and i found one. the Rode nt1 but it requires 48v phantom power. how do i hook all of it up? is it difficult ? any simple options? i would use the set up u did in this video if its not to spendee or complicated. Good tutorial. Before Clips, i've been recording my vocals in Maschine as you described, for years (since MK1, & i've had the MK2, the Mikro & now MK3). with Clips its a little doper, because it allows you to start/put the vocal clip anywhere without starting from the very beginning of the track.. that enables you to do the playback from any point you want (that the vocal clip is also at), and not always have to start at the beginning to get the vocal to play too

I want to work standalone with the Maschine plus. Is there a way to fill the whole length of the clip? I now use step mode, start at first beat and then i have to turn the END knob 88 times, where you just dragged that audio clip. Would love to see a video in standalone mode with multiple audio tracks and also about how to make the mic sound clear.
Greetings. Thanks for the very interesting video. I was wondering if it is possible to record multiple vocal tracks with the same microphone connected to the Maschine Plus. I tried to do this, even putting the microphone tracks on different groups but the microphone was still processed by the effects inserted in the first track. Can you please give me advice on how to set this up so that the tracks can actually be managed separately? Thank you
Great videos very helpful but can you answer the one question that I haven’t seen anyone explain as yet??? - how do I record a maschine plus video straight into my iPhone (ie, film myself playing on maschine but the audio for the video comes direct from Maschine instead of iPhone mic)? Thanks, you have to plug mic into your audio interface. Could be Maschine MK3 or any other i/o that you have connected to your computer. Then select that as your input in Maschine. Hope this helps

Yes, click on arranger button. Change from clip to section. Hold shift and choose ideas mode instead of song if you don’t want to record to timeline. Hope this helps

Hey AG what settings does your audio have to be on for your mic to read I followed the instructions as far as external I know it probably sounds like a silly question but I couldn't get a signal I was wondering what setup do you have inside of your preferences.
It has to be set to whatever input you mic is plugged into. Hope this helps

you are saying '...have a click in the sw to get this clip.....and play it'...HOW would you do do this step (this 'click' which was done in the maschine sw to create the clip) on the MK3 HW controller?
Just click pattern/clip button on Maschine then hit first pad to create the clip

DJ Mainecourse clips allow you to move “patterns” freely in the arranger with being limited to a loop. Makes it more like a linear type workflow. Hope this helps and thanks for watching!

Fyi when i first got maschine in 2012 you are one of the guys who's videos got me through the process... i started making beats in 99/2000 at the time i had a small joint called zoom track 234 😂😂🤦🏾♂️ but i eventually bought a Korg Triton LE ( no sampler) and thats really where it all started for me

The new 2.12 update works with all Maschine products. It is the software that was updated

The computer with sierra limited me to maschine 2.11.1
ive played in events and the event has recorded some bars of dead air. how do I get rid of that dead air so the event is a specific length in Maschine plus
Go to the pattern or clip that you recorded the space and just adjust to desired length and you should be good to go

The midi controller (hardware) doesn't matter, as long as you use the software. Everything happens in the software. So it should work on Maschine Jam, the workflow just may be a little different. Hope this helps.

This is why you don't need no more than 8 liner audio tracks in a groove box Silly people don't get why NI Maschine plus has unlimited.The Mpc Mv 8800 can do the same thing but people ask for more audio tracks smh.PUT IT ON A PAD !!It all looks the same when you export it into wav files.For your daw.
Additional Comment: This process will not work if you have a Zoom L12 mixer plugged into your PC/MAC as your sound card as well. As it loops around playing your track from Maschine/DAW and then absorbing that music into a free Group.. This is the reason why it fails, as it has to pick up the sounds in order to play them back out. I wish Maschine could divide USB inputs into logical channels, that would solve the looping, as you could mute backing cips/tracks and play through headphones whilst recording vocals

This was a massive fail on my system, I can't record vocals and at the same time not pick up the back ground track as well.... so frustrating, Maschine is no annoying

@@AGgotBeats Still a big fail dude.... I know what the problem is but there is no resolution when your using an external sound card (Zoom Mixer L12) that also acts as your input for the Mic as well. It simply doesn't work, its a failure on Maschine not to be able to select a different sound source independently. But appreciate you coming back to mate... :)
I CRACKED IT!!! Sorry for the Caps but really excited, in my situation you have select Ext L4R and it appears to work...I'll do a Video on it!!!!
