You know what I love about this? (Besides the helpful content and all I’ve learned) It’s that you all, instead of competing, bring all your strengths together and became friends.😊
Yes I love seeing unity between all no matter what. It warms my heart with so much love when i see and feel only kindness and love between people regardless of anything, because at the end of the day, we all are one there’s no separation and love is the reason why we are having this human experience. Watching this three beautiful wonderful souls coming together and giving all of us tips to help us is more than helpful. God bless everyone 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜☮️🪬 God bless all souls☮️🪬💜
I’m a butterfly & Cas’s system has made me understand how to organize in a way that makes sense. Dana was the first person whose decluttering tips & her own personal struggles made me feel completely seen & she completely gets it
I agree, Jenny! Dana’s book made me feel like she understood how I think, and Cassie’s butterfly organization tips made so much sense to me and change my life!
So fun to have you all together. Here's my 5 minute pick up motivation - I pretend I'm having company and run around and triage. When done, I get to enjoy my clean space for myself. Sometimes it takes pretending to see what needs done. 🤗
Hello from sweden! I acually have had a friend ask where all our stuff is 😅 i have been watching Dawn for some years and have declutterd a lot, the best thing is how easy ot is to clean 🎉
I’m so glad you found each other as I love Dana’s no mess system, Cas’ awesome organisation insights and that I’m a bee and that’s why quite a bit of my stuff isn’t hidden and Dawn’s emotional benefits insights to tie them together. ❤ You’re all different personalities and how you come to the same problems with such different angles that work seamlessly together.
I can remember being in a friend’s home a couple of yrs ago, it reminded me of staying in a guesthouse and I’m thinking, ‘How can they live like this without so much stuff!’ I was a hoarder at the time with just clutter everywhere and I couldn’t believe how much it was putting my anxiety in overdrive sitting in a minimal home. Now thanks to you 3 lovely ladies I’m wanting way less stuff and I’m doing it. The amount of things that have left my home is just amazing and it’s all because of you 3 wonderful women, that makes decluttering easy 🥰
Omgosh that hilarious that you hit the deck when people rang the doorbell 😂 my Mother would have all of us hide in the bathroom until the visitor left. I always thought we were alone in that growing up. Now I know we were not alone! Thanks for sharing
I just wanted to say that having multiple decluttering methods available really helps me. Most spaces I really gravitate towards Cass's methods, but then when I hit a really troublesome and overwhelming space, the only thing that can keep me moving is Dana's no mess principles.
I’ve been decluttering for years, now that I’ve found the three of you, things have sped up remarkably. My approach is a combination of all your approaches so seeing you together was a lot of fun.
Oh wow Dana, that is me. It doesn't matter what I do nothing seems to work. I love this video because I don't feel along but its giving me a place to start with my home. Love it that my most favourite Declutter Guru's are friends. 💝
I've also used this approach to get rid of items that have no use for me now, but have an emotional attachment to (i.e., family items I've received). I can take a few photos, from whatever angles I need, and let it go. That satisfies me from still needing to 'see' the item, but still having it out of my house
It literally makes me feel ‘wow!’ when I walk in to a decluttered space. I feel free, I feel like weight has been lifted off my shoulders. And it also goes for the outside of my house too! Shrubs that needed trimmed for months frustrated me beyond belief. Got them done a couple weeks ago and every time I pull in my driveway I literally have an ‘ahh’ moment-pure joy!!
Cas and Dana have changed my life. I live in India and thought at first that maybe cultural differences may mean their strategies dont work for me, But Oh have they helped me so much ! I have been through some tough times (moving, family health issues etc, )but I was so sorted back home through all of this and my house was and is always under my control
Dana's WE DO at the end! 🤣 I love it!! Each of you separately are great, but synergistically, the three of you together are just another level! I've been a member of Take Your House Back for a year, and my home has been transformed. Thank you ladies 🥰
What Cas said. Who cares what other people think when you live with less stuff? It’s YOUR home to live in, in the way that works best for you and your family. 🙏 🥰
I just stopped the video (when you said get rid of something big) and moved my coffee table to the sunporch (plenty of room there) ... it's always in the way when the grandkids come ... it has 4 little drawers that I emptied yesterday (some I got rid of and some I am storing elsewhere) thinking I would try this ... I'm always worried they will pinch their fingers or get into things they shouldn't. The ones who live closest to me are 1 1/2 and 2 1/2. Now they will have more room to play. The room looks so much happier !
Tackling my most visible areas has been a game changer for me. I don’t have an entry way, so my living room and dining room is the first thing you see. Through some ruthless decluttering, I have peaceful spaces to come into and I love it. I’m carrying that energy throughout my home and I couldn’t be more happy!
Taking a picture is a great idea. It works even better if you hold the picture up to a mirror. It feels like you are looking at a different space and you can be more objective.
I'm a cricket in a house of butterflies, and learning there were different ways to do it really helped me, Thanks Cas! The one mindshift that changed everything for me was understanding cleaning wasn't a project with a beginning and an end, Thanks Dana! And Dawn has helped me take a step farther than I probably would have while decluttering, and it is really so freeing, Thanks Dawn! I really can't say how much all of you have helped me!
I'm 77 years old and do not want to spend the rest of my "limited" years searching for anything. So, thanks for the mantra "If you remembered you have this, where would you look for it?" I wish I knew this fifty years ago. It's so much easier to "find" what I want/need. Also, another rule/mantra: "don't put things DOWN. Put things AWAY - EVERY TIME!" All caps because I'm still making this a habit. I take off my glasses and put them down, so have to look for them. Do. Not. Like. Thanks again to all three of you for your encouragement. 😍
You had me at “deslobification process”😂 The 3 of you are amazing on your own, but together you are a trifecta of decluttering greatness! Thank you for your fun, inspiring and yes, sometimes butt kicking advice! My home and life are better for it! Blessings to you❤️🙏
I watched all three videos twice! I am in the middle of Cas’ 30 challenge and seeing these I feel such continued momentum. Seems like it’s time for me to join the course😅
I redid my living room earlier this spring. Got rid of a beast of a sofa, got a much smaller one, rearranged the room, new window treatments. You get it. It is so easy to keep tidy and I love walking around the room thinking how much I like living with so much less.
My family experienced hoarding from my Dad, and organization from our Mom. It seems that my one sibling inherited the organization gene, while the rest of us inherited the hoarding gene. Whenever anyone visits the home of our organized sibling, once they enter the Foyer/Living Room, they immediately say, "Oh, it's so peaceful here!" And it IS peaceful, because it's NOT cluttered! Thankfully, we other (hoarder) siblings, are learning to de-clutter, and pare down, thanks to ladies like you! It's making a difference!
When I try on clothing at a store, I take a picture of myself in the mirror. It has helped me see things so differently and has helped me make better choices with clothing. I’m not sure why it looks different in a picture but it does!
When I lived with the ex (hoarder) I called the floor 3D carpet and trying to get from one side of his living room to my bookcase an Olympic hurdling event. I was so stressed about not hurting myself as if I damaged anything of his, there would have been payback of worse proportions. He’d put stuff in any walkway especially outside. Now his areas of my home have been cleared, I do a Wonder Woman twirl in each space every time and say something so it echoes. It still feels weird to have open spaces even after 2yrs but it’s a feeling I’m happy to have!
After the hoarder ex moved out I’ve been painting my home and so I still have stuff in the wrong places but it’s so much cleaner. I’m now in control and have beautiful places like my lounge and bedroom. I can get my home ready for a sale inspection without much stress as it’s tidy and I don’t have to pick up much before vacuuming. I have Dana’s voice in my head anytime I walk into the kitchen about doing the dishes! She keeps me in line most of the time and I really notice the satisfaction next time I go in there. ❤
I went to teach a neighbour in his 80s, how to do video calls. I went into his kithen whilst he watched from his lounge. He was SHOCKED to see all the "stuff" in his kitchen. He'd never noticed before.
recently a friend visited and asked how we keep the house so minimalist and I was thinking I desperately needed a maintenance declutter as it was starting to be hard to keep under control. It was great to know that I'm doing well but also that I get to dictate what level works for me
When I started decluttering in 2018 to make room for a 3rd baby in a 2 bedroom apartment, I listened to your book, Dana, and the visibility rule saved me. I'm a perfectionist, and I would declutter a drawer and feel frustrated, feeling overwhelmed with everything. Thank you :) I really like the tip to start with the bathroom now because it's nonsentimental and easier to deal with.
Y’all three are the cutest! 🩷How are y’all all the SAME HEIGHT?!?🥰 This is a fun friendship & together y’all are the DREAM TEAM!!! Thanks for what y’all do! 🏆🏆🏆🥰🙏🏼🙌🏼
You gals are awesome together! So collaborative, balancing to be sure all three of you are contributing, so funny, casual and still moving along with the ideas and content you’re covering - wow, well done!!!
I have been a fan of yours (Dana) for five years, and now I am SO happy to meet your friends Dawn and Cas too! I just now subscribed to both their channels. Your methods have helped me tremendously, Dana! But I am eager to hear from other experts too. Now that I will be following all three of you, I feel like I will have new perspectives and new ammunition for carrying on with this never ending project of decluttering my house. I am so glad you posted this video!
Just got done with cas from Clutterbugs video next will be Dawn's. Just love it y'all changing lives so much! ❤ I'm also the type who gets overwhelmed with visual clutter all I see is not done things.
I love y'll! My house is looking so much better because of Dana's (who I found first) no mess decluttering method. It helps me stay focused. Thank you! ❤
Your story gives me hope, Dana. ❤ I've told my family before that you understand how my brain works, and your guidelines make a world of difference for me.
About the finding a new perspective on the room, I like to lay on the floor and look at the ceiling and after a few minutes I see, "Wow, this room is really big without any stuff in it!" LOL
I find if I have a space that I find gets very messy, changing something in the decor or rearranging the furniture is a great help. For example my bathroom had been consistently messy, I changed the colour of the bath mat from white to a turquoise and since have decluttered and managed to keep it clean and tidy. I guess I am resetting my perspective ! Thanks guys for all your hints and tips xx
maybe I'm the odd one or Lucky one depending how you look at it, but my house is so much better than any AirBNB I've ever been in ! LOL I love this vid with yall all together!
I just came across this, and let me tell you I’m struggling with so much clutter stuff …..I’m so glad I just saw this I am so overwhelmed with my stuff, yet I feel ready to literally do a purge. I have been trying to figure out exactly how to go about it . I have tried many times and I end up back to square 1. I will be watching this over and over and watching all of your videos. Very nice colab . I can’t wait to watch your channels and apply everything to myself. Thank you!😊❤
It’s so funny when Dawn was saying people aren’t going to come in your house and say, where is your stuff, because after I decluttered and I had my whole mantle above my fireplace cleared out except for a couple plants and very minimal things on the walls, my cousin came in and asked me if I was moving! I just had to laugh out loud when Dawn said that. It was my cousin she can say those things to me and laugh about it.
Just this afternoon I was vacuuming behind our bed, and wanted to get the rug properly moved into position under our bed, because we never took the time to maneuver our heavy bed over it all the way. It’s actually the rug to our guest room, but that room is unable to have the rug down right now until we get our crawl space moisture issue resolved this winter. So instead of dealing with the rug any longer in our bedroom, I decided to just roll it up and put it in the attic until it can actually serve us again
Hello from the UK 🇬🇧 love you guys. You have all helped me in so many ways in my decluttering journey and i just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ been following you for a very long time and highly recommend the tyhb xx❤❤
It’s a slog. What worked for me was to scan paperwork (optional but helpful) rename with date of document YYYY-MM-DD and broad category, like “report” then details. In pencil write the date of document on bottom middle. Three hole punch, put it in a binder most recent on top. Don’t bother trying to categorize ( THAT is what breaks my brain and makes it hard). If it supersedes a document, write the date of the old document on the left. Go back to old document and write new date on right. I also had a simple spreadsheet for communication. Columns were date/time, person who initiated, people involved, method (call, email), summary notes, follow up and whatever categories make sense to you. This would include the reports too. I’d also include communication from my child. It often provided valuable context. It’s super easy to find info on a spreadsheet, figure out the date then go back to your binder or email. Sending email follow-ups to phone conversations is a great strategy providing a paper trail. Sorry if this is too much info but I definitely could have used it at the time. You got this! Take care.
To go along with Cas’ tip for looking at it at a different perspective, what helped me was looking at the room, as if I were a guest and I didn’t live there, that changed almost my entire way of seeing my house. Because when I look at it, as if I live there, I can easily overlook things and not care that I’ve left several things out. But when I look at it as if I were someone coming in, who doesn’t live there, that changes the entire thing and then I start to notice all those things that need to be Decluttered or put away. 🤯
Definitely time for me to take photos of my living room, dining room, kitchen and office... All on our main living space. Time to let go and declutter "real hard!"
I just love you ladies. You make me feel empowered and actually excited to do the work necessary to do in order to achieve a calm, peaceful, decluttered home. Keep on keeping on! 😁
Just hauled a double recliner loveseat off to the dump; literally carried it out one piece at a time. When we bought the 3 piece set, it was SO hard getting the loveseat and sofa in the door. Then after both of the recliners in the loveseat broke, we decided to get rid of it and just have the sofa & the single recliner. That was a couple of months ago. So, yesterday I used a utility knife and a socket & ratchet to disassemble the loveseat and packed it (piece by piece) into my Tahoe; then to the dump today. My husband got home and I said "Look! There's room to dance!" He fake pouted, but danced with me anyway LOL
You know what I love about this? (Besides the helpful content and all I’ve learned) It’s that you all, instead of competing, bring all your strengths together and became friends.😊
It takes a village! I respect every one one of these ladies teachings! Thank you all so much!

Me too, so refreshing!!
I’m a butterfly & Cas’s system has made me understand how to organize in a way that makes sense. Dana was the first person whose decluttering tips & her own personal struggles made me feel completely seen & she completely gets it
She is just brilliant on this topic. A system that will work for ANYONE ANYWHERE.
@BroccoliFiles You spelled cute wrong.
Honestly, how would YOU have named it?
I agree, Jenny! Dana’s book made me feel like she understood how I think, and Cassie’s butterfly organization tips made so much sense to me and change my life!
Yesterday I took something to the place I would look for it and I found one there and I was so proud (that I am not losing my mind)
@@DenyDefendDepose2those are the ones that are catchy! G Ire
Never get tired of seeing you three together. Always a learning experience with humor.
Yassss!

Omg. I came over here from Cas’s channel. I’m less than 3 minutes in and I swear, nothing has ever been more relatable. I could cry.
You three have changed my life - I’m no longer a slave to my home and items. Love seeing the three of you together 😊
I can remember being in a friend’s home a couple of yrs ago, it reminded me of staying in a guesthouse and I’m thinking, ‘How can they live like this without so much stuff!’
I was a hoarder at the time with just clutter everywhere and I couldn’t believe how much it was putting my anxiety in overdrive sitting in a minimal home.
Now thanks to you 3 lovely ladies I’m wanting way less stuff and I’m doing it. The amount of things that have left my home is just amazing and it’s all because of you 3 wonderful women, that makes decluttering easy 🥰
I got rid of 50 percent of our stuff and my house is company ready and we love it!
Cass: "We're cosplaying as minimalists." 😂
Great info! ❤
You all make me smile. 😊
You guys are truly The Dream Team!!
Omgosh that hilarious that you hit the deck when people rang the doorbell 😂 my Mother would have all of us hide in the bathroom until the visitor left. I always thought we were alone in that growing up. Now I know we were not alone! Thanks for sharing
We hid in the back bedroom. Nobody knocked on our door unless they were selling something.
I just wanted to say that having multiple decluttering methods available really helps me. Most spaces I really gravitate towards Cass's methods, but then when I hit a really troublesome and overwhelming space, the only thing that can keep me moving is Dana's no mess principles.
Yes and yes, as well as they are my comedic relief. And Dawn is my compassionate motivator who I feel like has my back so much. LOVE THESE THREE!
I absolutely love "take a picture." I use that for painting but never transfered the thought to clutter. Bazinga!

Loving these videos with the terrific trio 💖 So funny seeing y'all have the craic together 😂 Excited for my 1st ADD Saturday 👏👊
I listen to and enjoy all three of you and the variety of perspectives you offer. Dana, that denim jacket and blue top look great on you.
maybe I'm the odd one or Lucky one depending how you look at it, but my house is so much better than any AirBNB I've ever been in ! LOL I love this vid with yall all together!
Me too! My home is much less cluttered than cottages and Airbnbs that I rent.
Thank you!😊❤
I love how real you three are. You were there, in it, too, like me.
The 3 of you are my dream team for getting my home the way I need it and the way I want it to be.
Love seeing you all together ❤️.
I have to say, I have had 2 people come in my house and ask where all my stuff is!
Aww, I love you three! Thank you all for the great advice! 😊
2:46 in, and I'm overwhelmed and anxious. I will attempt to return.
Great video! Looking forward to our All Day Declutter this Saturday
I love this, hearing all 3 of you together, different approaches with the same message. Great dynamic!
I just love the idea of taking a picture of your rooms! Seeing it through a different lens!
Hello from the UK 🇬🇧 love you guys. You have all helped me in so many ways in my decluttering journey and i just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️ been following you for a very long time and highly recommend the tyhb xx❤❤
You guys are a hoot! Thank you for sharing your experiences and teaching your techniques. I am benefiting tremendously!
I love this team. You all have helped me declutter my house without making a mess!!
It's always the paper that gets me
Hate dealing with it and with my disabled child there is sooooo much of it coming at me😢
It’s a slog.
I love that you three did these vids together!! Thank you❤
Definitely time for me to take photos of my living room, dining room, kitchen and office... All on our main living space. Time to let go and declutter "real hard!"
Decluttering Sisters !!! ❤😊
My top 3 favorites!! ❤️😊❤
God bless you all for bringing this opportunity to us ~ with humor ❤
Thank you Dana, Cas, and Dawn
