I love this trio. I am a single father of 3 girls. 2 are age 9 and 1 is 7. Before kids I was so organized but now I feel like I am drowning. Been watching you 3 for about 2 weeks now and it has helped motivate me to declutter and clean. My house has improved by leaps and bounds because of you three cute ladies. I already feel like I am taking my house back and am definitely going to pay for this course. Just wanted you to know you guys are helping a single dad and his girls. Keep up the good work.
By the way, my name here was given to me by my 7 year old girl and I have no idea how she did it. LOL.
Good for you "candy pink!" Cheering you on from afar!!
@@masnmis haha that's really cute! You can edit you name and picture, everything, if you'd like.
Good luck with getting control back of your home. You're a hero and a special father that's been blessed.
You can do this! 💕❤️
Keep up the good work, CandyPink! The effort is so worth it!
Yay! Go dad!
When I downsized, I found a pile of cloth napkins, and decided that I needed to either use them or get rid of them. Now I feel so special every day, using cloth napkins, never buying paper napkins, and it’s easy to throw a few extra pieces of cloth in the regular laundry.
And better for the environment too.
Yes. And better for the environment and your pocketbook.
That’s awesome 😎
Saves money and the environment. Been doing this for years.
Just so you know, if you live in an apartment complex, you pay for washing and drying the wash. It costs me a lot of money just to do my clothes. I would never consider cloth napkins.
I just started Dana’s 30 day plan and this is day 4. I’m sitting at a clean kitchen table, with clean dishes in the dishwasher and a sense of peace to go with my coffee. What a blessing
Oops, 28 day plan
I love the “5 minutes matters” because it gets me started
My therapist used to tell me to say out loud, “Do it for ten minutes, do it for ten minutes.”

I was just watching this and I am also a recovered slob. We moved into a new home last March. I ruthlessly purged then. My son is 10 and has adhd and autism spectrum disorder. I find it works best for him to bring a container and tell him the rules unequivocally are broken toys go in the trash and he can keep whatever he wants but it has to fit in the identified bin. I also gave him an additional smaller bin for the items in his obsession category. I also remind him we are donating his wonderful toys to other children who could enjoy them. So far this works well with him.
“Only decluttering adds more space”. Lightbulb moment! 💥💡👍🏻
I feel we all owe so much to FlyLady and the positive energy she has put out there. Whether you follow her strictly or adapt, she is an inspiration and a great overall encouragement. So many of these ideas she has been teaching for years. But we can still benefit from hearing them spoken again in different ways by different people. ❤️
I learned so much from flylady years ago!
Also the ideas before that came from the slob sisters.
I know I’m a whole year late and it’s also March but I just decided my word for this year will be BETTER. Better mom, better wife, better house, better Christian. Not BEST but BETTER!❤️
And as Dana would say, Better is Good!
Today I swept all the floors and rugs downstairs in my house and then, wonder of wonders, I steam mopped the wood floors and baseboards. Before I decluttered it might take me a day for each room. To be honest, I’d be done in after one room.
I think it took me about 20 minutes in total because I barely need to move anything around to clean anymore, all thanks to decluttering.
Wow. The fact that you designed a course and mentioned parents with special needs and people with ADHD etc meant the world to me. I have a child with autism and pursing and think I have ADHD myself. I’m part of several fb groups and adults with ADHD and Autism struggle so much with tasks like these. I’ll definitely mention this course!
I don't have ADHD nor autism... And I am STILL challenged!! My house is NEVER clean unless SOMEONE else cleans...🙄
Me too
“Five Minutes Matters” did so much for me
"Declutter before organizing" and "shop your stuff" are helpful tips for me. Thank you.
and stop shopping junk :)
Don't get rid of kids stuff behind their backs. It will backfire. The main reason I'm a pack-rat as an adult is because when I was a kid my mother went into our rooms while we were at school and threw away lots of stuff, she threw away all my "treasures", little cardboard houses I built for my mini dolls, toys I was still attached to, stuff that I thought was pretty or interesting, etc. Even now, I totally freak out if someone gets rid of my stuff behind my back. 3 of the 4 of us siblings became pack-rats because of this. Declutter kids stuff with their involvement only.
I agree. My kids have things that are special to them that they might not actively ask for or play with for some months, but if it disappears, they know and are sad.
You just described me.....at 60 I still remember stuff that disappeared
❤️
Yes! The 5 minute deal is sooooo worth it! I didn't realize it, but I've started the habit of tidying my home for 5 min when I first wake up every day. Doing it at bedtime doesn't work for me because it makes my brain start working too much and then I become "unsleepy" for bedtime. But 5 min before I do ANYTHING else in the morning has been amazing! Really gets me energized to face the day! And to Dawn-- I've been telling myself I'm a tidy person EVERY day... and it DOES work to motivate me and encourage myself! I love now encouragingly myself instead of the years I spent discouraging myself. Let's do this, 2021!!!
I really like the ‘5 minutes’ message. Another comment Dawn made a few months ago is ‘Do something today you will be glad you did tomorrow.’ That thought has come to my mind frequently, and helped me push through, when I would tend to procrastinate and put something off for ‘later.’
I love that!!!!
At night when I don’t want to do the dishes, or take my make up off, or do a five minute lounge room tidy I say ‘morning me will be so glad I did this’
Yes love that, make your tomorrow self happy!
I'm often motivated the evening before I have a day off from work. "If I do these dishes tonight, then I can enjoy my day off tomorrow and go to the dog park instead."
I don't know why, but I automatically have always put my holiday dishes/linens/dishtowels in the same bin with my decorations that I keep in storage. I also keep my holiday CD's in those bins as well. Obviously I wrap them super well and cushion them in between the other items, but this for me is knowing all my holiday stuff is in the same bin. Also, I have the Christmas stuff in red and green bins, my fall stuff in orange bins, and so on. So that when I go to storage, I know by color of bins what stuff is for which holiday haha.
I do the same exact thing!!
The three of you make me so happy!!! 😂
Me too. They are so up beat. Fun to listen to.
Yes to dishes every day! That’s my secret to a clean kitchen. And, I don’t have to debate whether I need to run the dishwasher. I just do. One less decision in my day
I don’t have a dishwasher so that means “I” have to actually wash everything! Sometimes I just don’t feel like doing that after a long work day! I need to do better with this, and a lot of other things 🥴
@@ginamcdonald7854 my friend because she has medical issues with her legs and standing at the bench is too hard uses paper plates. My issues with that is their is so much trash to take out end of the week. I would go to her home and clean while our girls played. I've moved far away from her just before covid hit.
I have older kids now, and after supper, there are chores. Dishes must be done. It makes a huge difference.
I really struggle with dishes...I dont have a dishwasher. I have a toddler with autism. It’s so hard to manage him and wash dishes. I usually take a half hour to clean up after breakfast and lunch. But dinner clean up is usually like an hour and I can’t start till my son goes to bed. Plus I have to do other things like sweep the whole house and pickup toys. Plus I have thyroid issues that make me super tired and dizzy when I bend over..in my mind I am thinking, “Do I wash dishes or finally sit down?”
The 3 of you really do complement each other so well!
Thank you all 3 of you, you are such a wonderful support to us all out here.
I have made always doing all dishes before going to bed, and I have actually been doing it for 2 yrs now!
Like Dana said it really does make a big difference.
For 2021 I am going to make “5 minutes matters” my go to support .
Thank you, Ladies. After 5 years of having my grandma’s china hutch in my house, including all of the things that she had in the drawers, I cleaned out one drawer and two cabinets! I have five more drawers and two cabinets left, but I’m excited. I’m gonna try to get those done this weekend.
For relatives that want to give gifts maybe you could suggest a idea like my SIL did for my boys. On Christmas and Birthdays she would put money in a savings account...she had the little bank books and at Christmas time she would log the interest that the account had gained that year and she would wrap the bank book with a candy bar or a little ornament and that is what they would unwrap for Christmas. When they graduated high school she would cash out the account and would give it to them at their graduation. No clutter and a nice way to save them some money. :)
I found my daughter valued memories not monetary value when it came to clearing out her books lately. She really surprised me. Some lovely books she threw out and I had to consciously zip my mouth cause I was so proud she was learning how to let go!
I literally spent 5 minutes decluttering in my linen closet whilst watching you ladies. You gave this Mum with Fibromyalgia the motivation I needed to get this crazy messy space tidied up again. I now have a trash bag full of unloved linens and junk in the boot of my car ready to take to the op shop.
Three ladies that motivated me and some others on utube , to declutter and start living a minimalist life style. I fit in so many categories. I have several autoimmune diseases so when I have a lot of energy I just go for hours .But now I know better to take breaks .Also I'm a single mom to adult kids , one with special needs, so my life is nuts .I'm about to become a grandmother for the first time this summer. My son and his fiance live with me also. Trying to find room for everything and everyone sometimes gets nuts , in a 2 bedroom. Thank goodness we have a huge hall.closet. some what walk in .I let go of all my kitchen stuff, tablecloths ect ...My daughter likes when I decorate so I keep one for every holiday but they're plastic so easy to store .I let at least 60 % of my clothes go .I feel so much better, and my head feels clear as I have ADD .Let all my costume jewelry go except about 10 peices.
Thank you people! Don't be jealous but Dana's phrase "Better is good." was my super change in 2020.
So agree with Cass concerning sentimental... I have bins for my kids and I (I use the method of the you tuber "Do it on a Dime"). I used the "Swedish Death Method" to help declutter my sentiment stuff during first lockdown (brought on by Covid19) ... So I asked myself "if I died today would I want my family and children to see/read this stuff?"... When my answer was "no, definitely not".. I looked at it, had a laugh, eg old letters from boyfriends etc, and then binned the stuff... It feels so great😊
Dawn, I found you first about a month ago.....then Dana then Cass....and I have binge watched all of you daily. Cass would define me as a ladybug (by necessity, but longing for time to be a cricket). I am onion layering my closets and am 4 carloads to the donation center and a complete trash bin lighter. Just a little bit a day and nothing drastic all at once and it feels fabulous. THANK YOU for your encouragement and realism through it!
Containers did help me in the office. I could fit more in the closet because I was able to use the vertical space instead of just floor space. I was one of those kids that had a mom who threw her stuff away and I still have problems with getting rid of stuff because of this. My parents would fight over her getting rid of my dad's things. She would throw things out that she had no idea what they were. I grew up poor and I think that's another issue for me.
My grandmother did that to my mom and created someone who couldn’t let go of anything. I’m not the same but was never taught to declutter or purge.
I've made a commitment to 'shop my freezers' to use up what's in them before going to the store. I've designated spaces for foods I'll use for dinners and smoothies. It took me 10 minutes and has greatly reduced my stress level!!
1% better at something each day builds up!
I love that Dana does this in her car! The fact that you are all so transparent and let your warts show is refreshing, motivating, and encouraging.
I have done the “empty the closet” reorganization in the past. I ended up with piles of black bags in rooms waiting for the new storage place to be cleaned out. That was 20+ years ago. Just the thought of doing it again and having the mess again has paralyzed me and kept me from doing it again. I’m looking forward to learning more about Dana’s method and putting it into practice.
I KNEW Dawn was a ladybug and Dana was a butterfly! I found them after Cas, and watching/listening, I just knew that's who they are! I relate to all of you, but Dana the most, probably because I'm also a butterfly. 😂😂
The best part of 2020 was my resolution to run the dishwasher each night and hand wash anything that didn’t fit! I love waking up to a clean kitchen. Now, my hubby has gotten on board and will notice and wash anything left after supper that can’t go in the dishwasher for me! A clean kitchen each morning sets the tone for the entire day! Hugs to y’all 🥰
For special occasion table cloths/napkins - store those with the decor for that season, or let go and just have one nice table cloth/napkins and use for all special occasions.
We just have loads of cloth napkins because we use them daily. We have one tablecloth that can work for any occasion.
The more I hear from Dana the more I’m like, that’s me. 😆 She had me at, “I would say I’m anti-resolutions...”
Boy one thing that was just said turned on a light in my brain. If you don't have room for your stuff you have to much STUFF. I am A butterfly. I feel the need to see my stuff. But I forget what the heck I've got cause its in a ben of some sort. Amazing.
Dawn I love your idea of just doing the dishes every night. Something I learned from Diane in Denmark (so excited about ur collab coming up!) is to make the act you are doing enjoyable. So every night I do the dishes I burn my favorite candle and watch a RUclips video I really want. This has helped me so much. Like fooling my brain into thinking washing the dishes is luxurious 😂. It has really helped and also falls in line with the principles of atomic habits (which I’m currently listening to thanks to you 💕). Thanks for everything you ladies do!
Same. Diane in Denmark has changed so many peoples lives with simple daily habbits. I never go back to the ways i used to have.
Is Dawn doing a collab with Diane in Denmark?!
@@jennylhenry78 yes! So excited!
@@christinab9133 how did I miss this announcement?! Do you know when?
@@jennylhenry78 Diane mentioned it in her latest videos. So excited!! Not sure when just that it’s a January Declutter which I am so ready for!
That’s a Multi million dollar book ladies! I’m telling you! Ideas to get your kids to declutter their toys!! Excellent!
The three of you are awesome. I found Dawn first, then Cas, then Dana. I'm on the slow train to success as a 'would almost be' minimalist. Thanks so much for sharing your ideas. You're touching a lot of lives and making them better.
I found Cas first ,Dawn then Dana. 😆
I also found them seperately and its a thrill to see them together because I feel they are the best because they are human and real
I wholeheartedly agree on how to declutter with a child with adhd. My son is 11, and he doesn’t have trouble departing with things when I bring it to his attention. It’s just for him he doesn’t really want to make it a priority to go through things. He often gets distracted on his own and it’s easier to go through it myself and ask him directly what he wants and doesn’t want. 🙂
Thank you Dana k White! Your decluttering philosophy made sense to me💡and I put it to good use, and now I feel so much more comfortable in my environment . If takes a minute, then do it, among other things you recommend and that just clicks with my way of thinking.
RUclips is my go-to for new and interesting life lessons cooking tutorials, so I hope you continue to upload new videos.
Me too, I struggle to let go. I like all my cra., oh I mean treasures. It is hard to let go because I do use things for other things, and I really like it all but I hate the encroachment on my peace. I grew up very poor so I think that is a big root reason for the overflowing abundance. Thanks so much for all your vulnerability and authenticity. God bless all of you, richly! Ludington, MI
The challenge an headaches of decluttering is well worth the end result even if it’s just a drawer a closet or a single cupboard. All falls in place an things get more simple in time.
S.M.A.R.T. goals are "Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, and Time-Based (Timely)" 😊
Thank you for everything, ladies!!
Oh my goodness ladies!! I am always so happy to join in and watch all of your individual videos but all three of you ladies together is amazing!
I've been decluttering all week using the no mess method... It has been so nice to not have a keep pile to deal with at the end. Just have to throw out the trash/recycling. Done!
I have always been a tidy/organized person since I was a child, so I am interested in these strategies for working with others who struggle with being tidy/organized.
Y'all are dealing with the emotional issues BRILLIANTLY! Thanks for sharing your tips for decluttering!
I'm watching while waiting to leave to pick up my teenager from work. You just talked about how 5 minutes matter and I looked up to see the dirty pots and pans in the sink. 🤦🏻♀️Time to turn up the volume and start washing!
Why should you sign up and pay for a course with folks you can watch (and have watched) on RUclips for years?

1) Because you have benefited from their wisdom, knowledge for years. Pay them back for the “free” stuff!
2) If you’ve followed them for years you know these are women of integrity who know what they are talking about. Support deserving women entrepreneurs!
3) You, I, We, need and deserve this! HELP!
That’s why I signed up.
Anxious but ready.
Happy New Year!
My goal/resolution for 2019 was to get our house decluttered. Unfortunately, 2019 turned out to be a terrible year to try to do it. Both my father and father-in-law were both in poor health and within a few months we lost both of them. Then last year the world changed drastically!! working healthcare in a pandemic is exhausting so nothing was getting done. I have finally dug in and started the process! I know I will never be as minimalistic as Dawn but you three are helping me get ready to let go of so much stuff!! Thank you!
All of my Christmas stuff I put together… Towels, napkins tablecloth’s ...that way when I bring the Christmas stuff out everything’s all together… If that helps?
I even put the Christmas clothes away with them too.
Clear labelling is your friend too. Especially helpful if people want to borrow fairy lights for a wedding or something.

Discovering Dana is so great for me because I get the ideas of decluttering and the decisions, but actually saying goodbye is SO hard! I love that you have all merged together because you each bring your own unique approach which makes you a really strong team!
My husband and I both struggle with letting things go. I can't wait to learn how to let go easier! I just signed up for the course. I'm so excited! Can't wait until my home looks like it's supposed to look!
I used to struggle so much more, and practice really does help, but my husband doesn’t get rid of ANYTHING EVER 😳 I’ve had to quarantine some of his clothes from when we met that don’t fit him and after a full year I finally decluttered a couple bags and he never realized because it didn’t even make a dent 🤦♀️😬
Doing the dishes and making the bed everyday has been awesome. I have actually decluttered 7 rooms and have 3 to go. I always worried about my husband’s clutter but mine was awful. I have gotten rid of a lot of my stuff and now i can manage what is left
i love you three! We fold sweaters and stash on a hanging canvas shelf thing in the closet. It's only about 1 foot wide, and uses the verticle space. No stretched shoulders!
You guys are the dynamic trio for sure.
As a teacher I have found Dana and Cas particularly helpful. I’m more like Dawn and Cas naturally. I don’t have trouble simplifying, I finish projects after I’ve exploded them.
But in my classroom I won’t always be able to finish what I’ve started. Pulling everything out to sort and organize is only an option if I have a week by myself. (I have too much equipment leftover from a previous teacher.)
Using Dana’s decluttering method that doesn’t make a mess is a game changer. Also knowing I need to accommodate all of the butterflies in my room helps so much too! I’m a cricket with ladybug tendencies so there’s always been a clash.
Get a small handheld vacuum to keep in the bathroom and he can vacuum up those beard hairs! They make great small ones marketed toward keeping in the car. Wiping up hairs takes forever. 😂
My hubby used a paper towel and wipes it down every time he shaves and uses a tall broom attached to shovel. Takes all of 2 mins. I would tell my family pick up 5 the things before going to bed each night. So we dont have 75 things to deal with come the weekend. Hair tie, sock, piece of school work, sweater in the lounge, pen that fell on the floor, apple core not in the bin, birthday gift bag, cup on the table, put in the correct place etc. Each night 5 things.
@@wanda4573 i love that 5 things idea. Even my 3 year old could help.
@@sabatham sad when it's easy to train a 3 year old and impossible to train a grown ass hubby. 🤣🙄
Yes! That's what my husband did, and it also helps me to keep on top of toddler messes much easier than dragging out the big vaccum :-)
Watching this while I declutter sentimental - I have every birthday card ever! Paring it down to a box of special ones, one from each special person.
I hear you! I am 65 and recently decluttered the new baby cards my mom had saved for me after my birth. Why have I kept them all this time?!
While I was working, I labeled a hanging folder something like “positive reinforcement” and put cards, letters from parent and colleagues there. On days where everything was going wrong, I’d take 5 minutes to read some, and feel much better.
Love love love the three of you guys together. Dana's method is the only one that has even come close to working for me. I have a lot of emotional attachment to things, so hoping the course will inspire and reinforce my major decluttering project this year.
Luv having all of you together 💕
I have Dana's books on audible & I love them. Gotta go listen now while decluttering our overflowing homeschool room.
"Don't make me math!" That made me laugh. Plus it doesn't help that exchange rates are constantly changing!
You guys inspired me to go through my closet for the 6th time this year . I was surprised a full trash bag gone and now all and I mean all my cloths except shoes for in my medium size wardrobe. Amazed major difference in my life. Forces me to do laundry and realise I need quality over quantity. All my cloths are now options.
I don't have a dresser and have a small apartment. My sweater solution is one of those hanging cubby organizers. My sweaters and jeans and scarves and pajamas, etc. go into 6 of those "shelves". It works really well. My only other non-hanging storage is a few command hooks for jewelry and belts, and a cube shelf (2 cubes) with a large fabric bin for off-season clothing, a medium one for socks and underwear, and a small one for odd items.
You ladies are amazing! I started with flylady and then found Cas and then Dawn and now Dana is a new voice in my positivity tool box. I love learning with you guys!
This video is saving my house! Dana - using LOGIC to declutter - absolutely genius . I’m not a dumb person. I’ve tried for years and years and never had success because SORTING doesn’t work for me. I don’t have Doom boxes- I have Doom Rooms.
Cas- thank you so much for letting me know that I can still do this with ADHD - and thank you for helping me understand why all the ways I’ve tried to organize haven’t worked for me - I mean they HAve worked initially- I’m REALLY REALLY great at doing the organization initially- just actually putting things away- especially if I’m not DONE with them and getting DONE is a rarity. I’m a Bee for sure ( I got a different answer from the quiz - I think I overthought my answers ) I figured out I was by watching your video of the closet done four ways and realizing that my ONE space that I KEEP organized in my house is my closet with gift wrapping supplies, gifts, party supplies, etc. I have the small CLEAR snap lock containers and all my bows are sorted by color in them. Tags & pens in one, scissors & tape in one, ribbon in one. It’s micro sorted but I can SEE where everything is. It’s the ONE space in my house that I’m the most apt to put things away when I’m done with them. - it’s also the only place with cLEAR storage containers. Also- I realized Im a Bee because when my kids were young, I put SHELVES ( not a toy box) in their room and I drew pictures on paper of their toys and taped those pictures on the shelves so they’d know where things went. ( I was a pre-school teacher also & that’s how I kept my room) and it worked- for the kids AND for me.
I’ve been using Flylady for many many years and I’ve fallen off of it over and over again. Thank goodness she taught me “ Progress not perfection” and “ you’re not behind , jump in where you are”. Daily 15 min decluttering is part of her method and I’ve NEVER been able to do it because I never had the tools that I’m learning from you wonderful women.
Hey I just got the book I can not wait to start decluttering!
Hey ladies, I missed most of the live show. I watch all of your channels here on RUclips. I love all your advice on how to declutter and organize. This journey started about a year ago for me. I did the kitchen and went from there. My latest is the master bedroom. I did my clothes and it was so freeing to not have so much to manage
I had dropped a comment on Minimal Mom channel on how to get ny husband on board. Well this past weekend he went through his clothes. He didn't want to at first but once he got started it got easier. We are still working on it through out the hone and the attic but we are getting there.
I like how each of you are so different and bring different perspective to the same issue. Very good ladies.
I no longer call them New Years Resolutions. I call them my GOALS! Don't know why but that helps me do better :)
So many great ideas!
I seriously need to reassign my entrance space. It is tiny. 6 years ago, pregnant with my 4th, I did a complete overhaul and it was fantastic. My oldest just turned 6 then, and is 12 now. My entrance is not serving us anymore and I am unsure how to make it work. It needs another overhaul, especially since I now have 6 kids.
"5 minutes matters" is my new mantra!
Thanks 😊👍
I gain so much from these ladies. Been watching Dana all week and timing simple activities to see if they can just be done right now rather than building up. It took only 8 minutes to bring in laundry from the washing line (no tumble drier and I don't iron ha), fold it and put it away. 😲
Thank you!! Absolutely loved this live!!
“Blame the container!” ❤️ love it!! Lol
I will definitely be trying the dish thing everyday. I'm a working mom of 7 and I feel like I have half an hour when my house is clean every day that I actually cleaned. Thanks for being a Beacon of Hope ladies
Each year I make resolutions that I predate by a year and list the things I accomplished during the year. Every year I always accomplish all my goals/ resolutions! It is SO great!
I love you three! Whenever I am I cleaning, writing, or planning I turn one of you guys on the comp or phone and it keeps me going til I get to the end. Thank you for all of your work! I continue to learn so much from ya'll!
Hey guys! All helpful stuff! But I want to say, I have 3 sets of cloth napkins, they always have a place to live. I've used cloth napkins all my life, and I like to believe I've saved several trees :) I figure I do laundry every week, anyway, so how much room do the napkins take, not much. Everyone who comes over loves the fact that they always eat with cloth napkins. My kids were confused when they would eat at other people's homes, and have to use paper. Anyway, that's my two cents - try cloth napkins, they don't take up much space, and they are environmentally friendly :)
Doing the dishes daily really has helped me!!
I was watching you guys last night and came home today a was tired and wanted to just let what I brought in the house sit on the counter BUT set my 5 minute timer and got everything put away and even got the dishwasher loaded and started! Thanks
Loved this! I've been following Dana for a few years now and have just recently discovered Cassandra. (I need to go check out Dawn's channel now.) I have learned SO much from you ladies!
Very glad you also did it on RUclips. When you said it’s on your page, I kept looking on RUclips. I got rid of Facebook
You ladies are all so helpful!! I can relate so much with Dana and love her technique which helps make so much more progress for people like me. I find Cass so entertaining and love her tips. I am inspired by Dawn’s minimalism and love to see how simplicity can serve our family. I live in a 1200sq ft condo, no garage, with my husband and five children. I have struggled for years. My clutter bug style is bee so I love to see my stuff but it looks so cluttered all of the time. I have a long way to go with my limited space but thanks for the ongoing motivation, ladies
You three ladies together are such a great team, Dawn with the minimalism approach, Dana with the limits and understanding people who struggle to get rid of things, and Cass for organization and Clutterbug types. Y’all are amazing!!
I think it would be so neat to add the lady from A Hoarders Heart’s perspective, it would add that aspect of clutter and decluttering. Maybe have her as a guest speaker some time? ❤️
Great idea!
All my favorites on one channel, so happy!!!!!
One small point of order: it IS a waste of money to get rid of something you will have to buy again later. You can also save money on gifts by setting thing aside to gift to others. But this is why it's important to go through those important questions, "will I need this again?" "Would I buy it again?" "Do I love this item?" Etc.
The three superheroes of organizing....love you guys!😁
Love Dana's method on decluttering! Go bring it NOW. If not now, then when? ❤
I just jumped in and purchased this course! I’m so excited to learn from you ladies!! Looking forward to January 1st and a new start so I can love my home again!
I love how you have different solutions to pick from. You don't have to be united in everything, this is so cool!
And I agree: having less stuff is brilliant! I have reduced stuff for two years now, always thinking I had it and then it just continued 😄. I'm not minimalist, I keep some collections I treasure but overall my home is clean, easy to maintain and I love it! Really worth doing. And rooms "klick" when they are "ready". It is magic!
Thank you so much ladies! I appreciate all you do for us! I'm doing a vision board this year. Cas convinced me with her video a few months back.
Alright ladies! I bought the course! I'm excited to see how this support and structure will help me inch closer to my goal of a more manageable house. I've got too much on my plate at the moment and my house needs to become something that doesn't stress me out. I appreciate all that you ladies are doing to help the hot messes like myself develop the skills for success. I love how you don't sugar coat anything and are so relatable for recovering/recurring slobs that are trying their best. Happy new years ladies! Here's to taking our houses back in 2021!
Has it helped?
I also like the concept of “eating frogs”. Often they can get done in five minutes but I think it’s hours!
Me too! This works great for my teen son as well. It’s amazing how motivating a decluttered and/or organized space can be. My CD/DVD collection is my frog this morning…
I have started giving myself a frog sticker in my diary if I do something that I didnt want to do. 🐸 I love scrapbooking but dont have time these days so this Mom gets a frog sticker when she "eats a frog"! It makes my diary look fun and colorful and it shows the kids that even Moms have things that they dont want to do, and we get prizes too!
Absolutely love this collab! Such amazing and inspiring ladies! 🎉❤️
I appreciate the meeting from the car. Dedication!!!
I don't have trouble decluttering, but I have a problem getting it OUT of my house. In august I had a charity that would pick up my stuff... OMG I had it up and out of my house in a flash!
Yes getting things out of the house, REALLY helps! Otherwise stuff feels even more overwhelming because it’s out in the opening.
