Do they make noise? I've heard things like pangolins and sloths, etc make adorable noises when feeding and interacting but I'm curious about these little guys. What cute lil tongues!
they don't say much, you can hear slight squeeking/sniffing when they're close to you if they're comfortable with you, but other than that they don't make sounds outside of mating season really.. at least mine doesn't
The tenrecs in this video are called lesser tenrecs. these are not my tenrecs in this video. I have my own tenrec and there the most fantastic greatest adorable pet ever!!!! they love to climb on you!!!

can you cross breed tenrecs and hedgies?
No, tenrecs are evolutionary very isolated. They are as related to hedgehogs as to humans or to elephants 😀
