It's happening now! Very slowly, but happening. There have been quite a few store and even cities that will only sell/adopt out shelter dogs. Hopefully this trend keeps up!

This dog is a true miracle.He went through loads,all his siblings dying,he almost passing away from lacking strength,him being an albino and he loosing an eye,This dog was blessed.

My catfish was albino, she sadly died because of her age, she was pretty healthy though.
This is not an albino, it is however a double merle.

I'm sure the doctor and the pup's mom had very good reason to remove his eye. Neither one would put him in the danger and the expense of putting him asleep then removing his eye with very good reasons. You can see there was something wrong with his eye to begin with.

I watched this video three times to try to make sense of what happened. I disliked mainly because the story didn't make any sense. Who was "he" who was the backyard breeder? What happened to the litter? Who was the woman in the backyard? I don't even know what's going on. It seems like the editing of the video was crap. The story MADE NO SENSE AT ALL. I'm not just here for the feelz - I like to learn why these things happen. And I got none of that. So, again, DISLIKE.

We have a rescue that is blind from birth too. One eye is scomoletely closed and rolled back into his head and the other has a "leaky" blue pupil. He doesn't know he's blind and does anything a dog with sight can do. They're just that much special! ❤
