- Resembling a combination of a shrew and a hedgehog, tenrecs are native mammals to Madagascar, where 30 different species of them can be found. Here, a group baby tenrecs chow down on worms after a rainstorm.

I swear, some of these really obscure species look like Pokemon. It's so awesome how unique the world's critters can become.
Thats prob how they got there idea of pokemons knowing there are so many different animals that look crazy and cool just a guess
I remember thst caterpie is based on the Eastern tiger swallowtail
The sound it makes its a legit electronic pokemon, it also makes the sound of a taser
@@2high4this412 well the idea for Pokémon was based off of bug collecting. Although I’m sure many Pokémon are based off of obscure animals like these.
Omgosh that’s the cutest thing I never knew about ever!!!
Right
Surge: "Mmm....yes. Worms"
They forgot to mention that it's an [ELECTRIC]/[GROUND] type Pokemon.
A critter with its' own Wi Fi ? I want one .

They looks like real life Pokimons
Nice footage of a family of Lowland Streaked Tenrecs (Hemicentetes semispinosus). I wonder when will its closest relative the Highland Streaked Tenrec (Hemicentetes nigriceps) will also be on footage.
Gorgeousness. 💚
I know it would be wildness and being disguised as a cutie. Don’t ever think about feeding them like a pet.😅
Didn't know anything about tenrecs! You never know they must be half-caste animals, half shrew, half hedgehog! Table manner? What's that - says one of them, it's feast-time!
