These comparisons have a few shortcomings. 1. Non-use of 5x optical zoom and 10x optical zoom and 50x digital Huawei. Google does not even have a 2-x optical zoom. Because there are not two cameras either. 2. Failure to compare filming and photography in real dark. Huawei shooting at ISO 51200 and ISO 409600 photography. Google at 12800 ISO and ISO 6400 video.

Both the Pixel 3 and P30 Pro is poor compared to Samsung in video. Your particular P30 unit is unusually poor at 1030p video. It is significantly worse than my Mate 20 X and the Kirin 970 powered P20 Pro. As for who won, the P30 Pro is competitive, but not better than the Pixel 3 in these shots. Its more of a coin toss. The Pixel is a very consistent shooter, where as the P30 has some inconsistencies (particularly with color). Of course the P30 has 40MP mode, wide angle, and telephoto and is a better photography camera overall.
Its a bit annoying how some parrots its 4 cameras against one, like somehow the Pixel's primary camera software can makeup for the lack of extra lenses. This is largely a comparison of the two primary sensors of, and Pixel is utterly noncompetitive with the other sensors in the Huawei or Samsung. In addition the S10's sensor is largely the same as the Pixel 3, but Samsung's software does a much better job in both stills and video. I never had a Pixel, but its my understanding that there is a delay using the HDR+, something that does not appear in Samsung or Apple. In addition, you also use telephoto and wide angle which the Pixel lacks. The Pixel has a good primary camera that is not outright better than its competitors.
As for the Huawei, I am still on the fence of whether the RYYB sensor was the right move. An OIS enabled RGGB sensor would have been enough to beat the other flagships. Most people take photos during the day and I don't think trade-off in color accuracy is worth for good low light performance.

That horrible FHD stabilisation on P30 Pro though... it's super odd that you don't get the same horrible lag/jitter effect in higher 4K resolution video recording, I suspect your unit is either faulty or the recent software update messed it up. Either way I haven't seen anything like that on other people's P30/Pro, so probably it's an isolated issue.
As for everything else, I wholeheartedly agree with you. Selfie photo is tied between two but P30 Pro wins in front camera video recording with ease. It also has far better dynamic range than Pixel but WB is quite off more often than not, and lack of ability to capture colour of the sky correctly is a huge problem to me. But I hate how Pixel consistently crushes shadows into oblivion and turns darker colours into inky black, and I gotta say, I'm not a huge fan of either of those phones' image processing in daylight. Hopefully Google uses larger sensor on Pixel 4 and Huawei corrects all the colour issues P30 Pro has with Mate 30 Pro... I'm sure they can do it better next time.

In case of Huawei, it seems like they have a video destabilizer.
For images, it always comes down to personal prefrences, for hardware the P30 Pro wins, for software alone the 3XL.
BUT when it comes of HDR both done a great job and if I would mention another phone maker who does soo well in HDR is OnePlus.
P30 Pro : it is overhyped as far as i could tell

Neither had particularly impressive video output. Photos are cool on both. Better exposure from Huawei but clearer details from Google but that's to be expected. Brighter exposed shots from smartphones tend to preserve less sharpness and details. Overall I'd go with the better exposure because there's just more from the shadows. Google prioritizes controlling the highlights so the camera tends more often than not to under expose. Throw in the very high contrast and it just crushes a lot of the darker regions of the image. If I had to pick one it would be the p30 but that's only if these were the only two options available.

@@PixelPeepers from all I've seen, the best all rounder is the s10. Not entirely satisfied with it's lower light performance in auto mode given the camera tends to use higher iso than I would like injecting more noise in the image which when suppressed by the image processing leads to the loss of fine details. I find my s8+ to preserve more details than the newer s10+. S8 would use iso 200 where s10 would go as high as 640 in the same scene. Something I hope Samsung address in time. Aside from that though it's pretty solid. Videos and photos. You get a lot too from the shadows. More so than what Huawei offers. It also does best when tackling the highly dynamic scenes where there is a sharp contrast between the very highs and the very lows. I see the p30 outputting the sort of results my s8 delivers in such situations. The only other device that deals with those sorts of situations is the iPhone. For daylight shots, s10 and iphone for me. For lowlight and night photos, leaving night modes to one side, s10 still also delivers quality to match and beat others in many cases. All round, it's the best of the bunch. The others seem to be lacking in one area or another. The s10 is the only one that holds it's own in all categories.

Chiar dacă unele poze sunt mai întunecate, tot are mai multe detalii și claritate mai bună față de Huawei. În vreo 2 poze câștigă Huawei, doar pt ai prins poza mișcată pe Pixel.
