    Hi I'm Kathryn!
I am a former soloist with the New York City Ballet and Miami City Ballet. When I was a young student, I was always looking for insights into the ballet world and how to improve my dancing as well as beauty and lifestyle tips. Now that I am a professional, it is my turn to share.
On my channel I make ballet, beauty, and lifestyle videos for everyone of all ages. My goal is help dancers improve and achieve their dreams as well as open up the ballet world to non dancers. Let's bring the joy back to ballet! You will see many different kinds of videos here including ballet classes, workouts, Q and A sessions, life advice, performances, beauty tutorials, technique tips, and more. I hope you find all of my videos helpful!

Hi Katie! I was wondering if you could make a video about what variation en pointe you should do for a competiton if its your first time competing, bluebird seems to easy for me.
also.. i've been doing pointe for a year and a half and have trouble with one footed pointe hops if you could help with that too that would be great!
I really hope you see this katie xxx🥰

it's better to do an 'easy' variation well, than a 'hard' variation sloppily. bluebird is lovely, if it's your first time competing on pointe I would focus on feeling confident and really getting every detail right

For your first comps I would choose something that you feel confident doing well even under pressure. As the previous comments said "Its better to do something easy very well rather than choosing something fancy and doing that badly." Katie said the same thing in previous videos.

Thank you very much, you are adorable.
    .
I wish if you could do feet warmup exercises with close ups.
I am not actually a dancer, I am a contortionist.
