From the moment we arrived, the breathtaking Asian bamboo chic decor, the attentive staff, and the serene infinity pools stole my heart. The rooms were airy and beautifully designed, although I did have a few unexpected lizard roommates! 🦎
🍽️ Foodies, rejoice! This resort offers an incredible blend of traditional Asian dishes and American favorites. I loved the ramen station and the fresh fruit options, though dragon fruit wasn't my fave. Their breakfast spread had everything from crispy bacon to fluffy pancakes-delicious!
💆‍♀️ The highlight? The Thai massage. It was life-changing! My masseuse worked magic on every muscle, making it an experience I'll never forget. If you ever visit, a Thai massage is a must!

- Travel time: About 22 hours of flight with a stopover.
- Nearby attractions: Phuket city, local markets, and serene beaches.
- Exchange rate: $1,000 USD gets you around 30,000 Thai Baht-talk about living large!

Just as a slight correction but the Tsunami you may be referring to happened back in 2004 , so I don’t thing this had anything to do with the place being quite ! Have to say that there is also great food outside the resort also to be had and can work out cheaper !
Your chosen resort is actually at the start of what would be termed “ Khao Lak” at the southern end on the mountain road into the place . But you will always find little family runs mini markets and food places within short walking distance from most resorts and the food is of good quality but you may have to wait a little longer for service of the place is busy ! It’s just a “ Thai Thing” and you just have to relax and absorb the vibe and not get stressed ! Glad you enjoyed the massage too 👍it’s always a winner in my books and have been visiting the place for past 16 years now !

Thanks for the feedback. It was some major weather related storm that cause destruction to the property, and cause and issue with tourism just before we arrived. I believed they said it was a tsunami, but maybe you are correct, and it was something else. :)

And the "lizards"... Are tiny geckos that will run away at a hundred miles an hour...
