ABOUT BRIGADOON:
Before My Fair Lady and Camelot there was Brigadoon, Lerner & Loewe’s transcendent romantic fantasy about the past, the present, and what it means to (almost) be in love. The classic 1947 musical, celebrating its 70th anniversary, follows Tommy Albright (Patrick Wilson), a jaded New Yorker who gets lost in the Scottish Highlands and stumbles into an idyllic town that only appears for one day every century. He quickly becomes smitten with the headstrong Fiona MacLaren (Kelli O’Hara) and makes an enemy of the rebellious Harry Beaton (Robbie Fairchild), bringing about a chain of events that could spell doom for the entire town.
When this production opened at New York City Center in 2017, it was hailed as “glorious and vehemently alive” by The New York Times, “a tour de force” by Newsday, “exuberant and gorgeously sung” by the New York Daily News and “ravishing and luminous” by Deadline. It was originally presented November 15-19, 2017.
Brigadoon stars Kelli O’Hara, Patrick Wilson and Stephanie J. Block, and features The Encores! Orchestra led by Music Director Rob Berman.

Patrick needs an album
Patrick is from my hometown in Tampa Bay. His Dad was a very well-known local newscaster who had a very rich baritone voice and Patrick's mom is a professional singer...So, he was truly gifted with his remarkable voice!

My grandma lived in Tampa Bay and always talked about how Patrick was just the sweetest young man and how she wished I could meet him since we both did musical theatre. She wanted to set us up before he got *famous* famous. That would have been an *excellent* arranged marriage. Grandma was always looking out for me. ;D
Please, Patrick. Do more musical movies so we can all be blessed by your beautiful singing voice. Can we petition for him to play a Disney prince, because with that voice he totally could??

His voice is so lovely, so soothing--yes, we NEED him to play a Disney prince😍😂😱

@@marchecker1160 I was 'meh' on this musical for a long time, and more interested in Les Mis, R&H, ALW, Wicked.... and now I'm hardcore *obsessed* with it based solely on the strength of their performances. LEGENDARY.
I can understand you meaning to emphasize that Patrick Wilson's voice is phenomenal by adding "fucking", but since this is a rare performance of great beauty, wouldn't it be more of a compliment to not conjure up the image of genitals grinding together. N'est pas?

The 1967 Brigadoon revival was my first musical theater experiencel and began a lifelong love affair that has only grown stronger with time. I remember being moved to tears as soon as the orchestra began to play. But these two are the most beautiful Tommy and Fiona I have every heard. Absolutely stunning.
Every time I hear him sing, I think he would’ve been the PERFECT Valjean for the Les Mis film. I mean, I’d be thrilled if he did a run on STAGE, he’s just that technically exquisite.

If they filmed a remake of Brigadoon with these two starring in it, I'd pay to see it at the movies, and I hardly ever go any more. Brigadoon deserves the big screen.

Brigadoon was Gene Kelly and Van Johnston. I loved that movie. My favourite Gene Kelly movie.
Just don't expect it to do well in Scotland. I hate the broadway/Hollywood rewriting of Scotland.

Oh my heart! What a magnificent rendition. I felt every emotion and my heart soared. Brigadoon is one of my all-time favourite musicals, and this spun me back decades to being a teenager watching it on our old black and white TV. Thank you so much. This is a real gift.

You. did not miss it on Broadway it was a very limited ( I think 8 shows) as part of Encores at City Center, It was great even from the cheap seats
