I'm in the middle East and I enjoy it when I hear that South African accent... nothing like home
reminds me of apartheid or xenophobia not sure which one LOL
Very helpful. Thanks.
Can the thermostat trip the breaker
Thanks very helpful. Could you show how to test a VKF thermostat.
Thanks for posting this. Clearly my heating element is broken.
Brilliant!!Thank you...
big help just did it myself and replaced both
Super....
I bought the new element ad thermostat but the gersey it's not working, what could be a problem
It may happen that your thermostat does not send the heater to the element BCz it's have to strike the element to warms up the water
Brilliant, thanks!
Give more examples thanks ❤
Awesome, thanks
Please advise what could be wrong if geyser is draining too much electricity .
check that it goes off at times, if not check your overflow water to see if geyser is over heating
If your meter doesent give a noice what will it say on the meter if its working and what if its not working?
working = low ohms = 0Ohm, not working = open circuit MegaOhm
If the thermostat is in the geyser... Do I carry on with the same method
yes
@@ecologicaltime you would have to switch off power to the geyser first before doing the continuity check. If it does not get continuity, it could be the element or the thermostat, so you'd have to remove the thermostat to confirm which one.
@@nickidewet7711 great point. Have to remove thermostat to confirm if it is indeed at fault or not
Careful with the lighter, if they’re lit for too long they can explode.
