Your Enclave vids have saved me thousands man. This may sound creepy but with the amount of time I've spent listening to you while I'm digging my way into that cramped engine compartment, I think of you as my Sensei Enclave...

Just had my water pump on my 08 replaced. Cost me about $325. The today had to have my thermostat housing gasket replaced. Cost another $223!! My car has 185,000 and has thankfully been pretty good. I changed my struts and outer tie rods my self. Have new sway bar links as well. I hope it doesn’t turn into a money pit. Thanks for the great video.

I did this today, I managed to remove it from the bottom. I only took the belt off. I used a 10mm 1/4 inch ratchet with a stubby small extension and took out the bolts I did this about an hour. I didnt have to touch anything up top or remove the tensioner or balancer.

Yes my motor mount is broken also. Did you disconnect the battery before removing the fuse box? Technical name is torque strut mount

What did you find for the oil leak? I just noticed oil in the same area on my 2013 Enclave. Thanks

    Question
Did you had a floor jack support in the motor when you took off the motor mount, and how how long did it take you to replace the water pump. Good video

What did you do with metal gasket? Or did you just use the rubber one they give you?

What size ratchets did you use? Trying to change my water pump. But haven't found anything that shows what tools are needed.

#1 you need to disconnect the negative battery cable and secure it so it doesnt touch the terminal. Do this before disconnecting any other electrical components. #2 if you dont know the parts name you shouldnt be making videos and giving how to videos. #3 i hope you arent disposing the antifreeze into the ground from thr trash can. I dont really care what you do... because it eill be you paying the fine if uou get caught. Its a big fine from the EPA.
