Yeah, this was what I was struggling with. He treats his second wife like shit, and this is never reconciled in anyway throughout the rest of the film. How am I supposed to love this character?
@666deadman1988 that's why Andrew Garfield(the best friend) saved that element for me. I wasn't much a fan of the movie but Garfield was hernest enough that I could at least root for the guy during the whole thing.

As someone who thinks they're incredibly brilliant and proves it by never finishing anything, I can tell you that I did not like this movie.

I'm intelligent and grumpy but I don't think I'd enjoy it. Not enough car chases.
