- In the spring of 2023 I walked the Camino de Santiago (the Camino Portuguès route ) together with a friend. Here's an impression of the overwhelming experience we were allowed to experience.

Great video, thanks for sharing!
Thank you for creating this video & sharing your Camino. This interesting, informative, & really inspirational.
Me ha gustado mucho vuestro vídeo y me he emocionado mucho.
20+ km per day? wow.. hopefully I can do mine in the future .. thank you for sharing this splendid experience
That was very emotional for me watching you walk and arriving at the Church. I will be going in September with my friend. So excited. Thank you for sharing your journey. Stay Blessed and Shine Brightly 🤍
Awesome Video .. Thanks
Well done, Ladies!
La hermosa Galicia. Joya del Camino.
Well done!
Beautiful ❤ I enjoyed watching this. Thankyou for sharing. I felt the joy in your video. We are going end of July and walking the Espiritual route. I am looking forward to it. Bon Camino.
What an absolutely beautiful video. Loved the scenery - urban, pastoral and littoral, the atmospheric weather, and the sense of sharing very slightly in such a grand journey. Would have loved to hear from you as you progressed
Very nice, thanks for sharing
Enhorabuena peregrinas!!💪💪👏👏👏❤️❤️
Great video! Brought back memories of my Camino in 2019 doing the Coastal Route. Thank you! I can't wait to go again!
Heel herkenbaar allemaal, wat een leuke video! Gracias/obrigada
Fantastisch❤
Super, danke für das Teilen Deiner Erlebnisse
We’re you two Pilgrims to ever walk the Camino Portugués again, or if you could turn back the clock and had it to do over again, what kind of shoes/socks would you wear, i.e., road runners, e.g., Hoka or other”running shoes”, or a somewhat heavier “hiking shoe” that might offer a bit more ankle support and stability, especially over the cobblestones and slippery rocks and stones you featured in your lovely film?

It seems that there are two popular paths along this routing, with one being more coastal and the other…which I believe is the one you chose, running a bit more inland. Was there a particular reason why you selected this one as opposed to the more coastal routing? If you could turn back the clock, and knowing what you now know, would you switch routes and go coastal for the expansive views and ocean breezes?

Can you please offer advice concerning (a.) personal safety and (b.) communications, i.e., U.S. cellular (e.g., T-Mobile carrier) usage on your route and Apple electronic luggage tags.
Many thanks!

I used trail runners. It is not nessasery to have heavier shoes.
We dit a part the costal and part the central. For us it was beautiful to have done both. The costal is beautiful but for us after a while a little it annoying. The central is beautiful but heavier.
Personal safety. It is very safe to walk the Camino. There was no time we have felt unsafe.
I am from the Netherlands and our phones packets is valid in the whole EU so I don’t know that is for US.
Yes I had my apple electronic tag but mor for the luggage in the airport and the flight. I hope I have answers Al your questions.
Gracias, muy bonito video! No sé qué no perdieron, yikes, muy complicado.
You can do it; I can do it, too! Thanks a lot!
Next August, my wife and me will do the Portuguese Way to Santiago. Thank you for your video.
❤❤❤
Marianne, I see you started in Porto, went along the coast for a bit then turned inland. Is this route considered the Camino Portugues Coastal? Just starting to research this particular route to do in 2024. ( our first Camino) Thanks! Beautiful video!
You can follow the whole coast but we wanted te do both parts. So yes the first part is the coast the second part central and from Redondela the merched.
Río MIÑO. Marianne Bloemendaal, estás entrando en GALICIA.
Good morning, very impressive video. would you be so kind as to send me the actual route you ladies took? in advance, thank you!!

It looks very grey for may
Beautiful capture of a stunning trip. Can you tell us what program or app you used for the map animations? They add such nice context for the video segments.
The app Relive.
INTO GALICIA.
Schaue mir gerne Euren Film an. Sie heißt das Lied von dem Camino? Ganz liebe Grüße

@@MarianneBloemendaal Lieben Dank!
Hoi, hele mooie video👍Complimenten. Bvd
Hope you're enjoying your break. Ultreia 😁 Disappointed ... So sad not to hear birds singing, wind blowing, kids talking, footsteps on the ground, anything but elevator music. Ah well. Too bad the microphone did not work 🤢😊
;-)
