Thanks mate! A lot of the tone can be credited to blending with the original guitar tracks so don't let that fool you! I'm using 2 instances of Bias FX (1, not Bias FX 2), panned slightly left and right in Ableton Live. Both instances have separate presets. I've uploaded these presets to the Bias FX Tonecloud (in both Bias FX 1 and 2). The presets are called "DeathLeftSide" and "DeathRightSide". The tone I'm using was built in Bias FX 1. I have migrated it directly to Bias FX 2, but it sounds different and I haven't tweaked it. Apart from Bias plugins, I'm also using an EQ and a Gate in Ableton before Bias, and more EQ after Bias. Long story short: I scooped out a TON of mids and took a good chunk of the boominess out of the low end.
Haha! You're the second person to say that to me in a week! About 15 years ago I learned my first few from tabs initially (Evil Dead, Crystal Mountain, and The Philosopher if I remember correctly), but then I started learning by ear as I found most tabs unreliable. I've learned most of their catalog at this stage all by ear. It gets easier the more you do it.
@@markomilinovic4665 It'll come! I'm trying to space out all of the albums so I've got one from ITP coming tomorrow, one from Leprosy this weekend, and one from Human next week.
Amazing tone. Chuck would approve of.

@@DeathCovers excuse me how do you know the tuning is different if you learn by ear???... Learning by ear is the most beneficial thing imo.
