Bravo. Smart, complete coverage. (Now, don't forget that some of us are new to all this and need full identification of competition you mentioned--"625" was it? and ...the other. Brand names needed and perhaps a steady photo of each.)
your quite right , it does seem a bit " erratic " .. think id give that a miss if I were in the market for one . got the barrel chrono ( cb625 ???? ) ( aint going upstairs too look at the box ) very happy with it .. BUT !! you must get it lined up perfect with the end of your barrel / silencer .. there is a leveling tool that you can purchase with the crombo OR as an optional extra .. saves looking down the barrel too see if its lined up ... ( always a thought provoking experience ) .. all that said .. a very informative vid , yet again ...cant wait for your rangefinder review ... OH .. make sure that reading of 598 fps ( 16grn pellet ) aint a true reading ... else practice picking up soap without bending down in the shower
Lol :) If you take the highs and lows out of the equation and average the true readings it works (ish) but no way as good as the other types of chrono :)
Think I can vouch for the CB425 as it corresponds exactly too the readings I got when I purchased my R10 from my local RFD .. ( test report with one of them F1 crono's ) with the same grain pellet ... so .. if you require a really accurate pellet ( .177 ) at the " top end " of the legal limit .. The JSB Exact " heavy " 10.34 grn will suite you perfectly .. over a 20 shot string they give an " average " of 11.80ftlb with 4 shots coming in at 11.95 ftlb .. with a low ( 1 shot , probably a duffer , coming in at 11.53 ftlb ) ... amazingly accurate anawl ... ps .. I DON'T work for JSB ..im English not from the Czech Republic ..
Crosman pellets have the weight, in both grains and grams, printed on the tin. Also, Pyramid Air now have a more advanced online calculator, with a lot more functions. www.pyramydair.com/airgun-resources/widgets/convert.php?Units&u=14
Just bought this, . had some erratic readings but did as you said to get average reading. had lot of time outs but got there eventually, seems ok.. used it on my Hatsan AT44 10 & my Gamo PT85 Co2 pellet pistol.
I am contemplating if I should get one of these or maby an X3500 to be able to use it under the flourecent light in the garage without having to use additional lighting. Nice to see one tested with a pelletgun. Thanks. 😋
The Combro isn't going to be suitable for a lot of airguns, such as self-loaders, guns with anything under the barrel (think Winchester lever action), guns with odd-shaped muzzle breaks (Gamo Whisper Sting), and who knows what else.
Hi Steve. My experiences of the Xcortech X3200 have always been pretty good... ruclips.net/video/CrL6MtNrTKU/видео.html I tend to point my X3200 slightly downhill towards the ground - at about 15 - 20 degrees - and shoot through it from about 10cm away. The results have always been pretty accurate and consistant. Well, that's been my experience. 😀 Good video though. 👍
Nice review. I really understood what you delivered and explained. Thank you mate
Glad it helped

See my other videos for the other reviews of chronos :)

Yup not as good as I hoped and you really have to have patience with it.

hope it helped, but to add to this video, mine died within a few weeks.
Good review mate, Thanks
Thank you.
Really enjoyed this review mate and have you been doing a spot of decorating too? Thanks Steve.
teno guy thanks mate. no don't think so, maybe a tidy up :)
They say this model does not see 4.5mm bullets. Could you check?
I had nothing but issues with this chrono and ended up throwing it out.

I would not buy this unit for anything other than air soft. Mine died within 3 weeks and never worked properly

I must have been unlucky with mine.
