I have a similar 2022 xtr. Iove the ute, but I'm not a fan of the lane assist or cruise. The lane assist feels far too assertive to me... and you can't turn it off and leave it off as far as I'm aware. Happy to be corrected. The adaptive cruise feels rough (but I'm still glad I've got it) and the cruise control in general is just hard work to get right. I'm sure I'll get used to it, but it shouldn't be such a chore imo
I’ve recently bought a 2023 bt50 thunder and actually have a rattling dashboard and my drivers seat makes an annoying clicking sound every time I go on a road that’s not so smooth I thought it was normal. I’ll definitely be calling Mazda today thanks for the honest review mate loved the video 😊
Tyre wear / Alignment issue is related to bump steer a lift will not fix but make the issue worse. Regular wheel alignments (every 5000km) with max toe settings help mitigate the issue but won’t fix. SuperPro released a steering knuckle which fixes this problem.
Definitely not worse having fitted upper control arms from Outback Armour to help realign everything post lift. Im aware of the steering knuckle replacement however definitely a long way out of our budget for the BT50 unfortunately. Wheel alignments regularly are definitely the key 👌
I might review it soon 😂 It definitely looks the good thats for sure. Have had indicator issues and fog lights are filled with water from rain, have never done a crossing with it. Powdercoat doesn’t appear to be very strong, and has rust in the antenna mounts where it was hung for coating and didnt get hit
I spend some time on bt50/dmax forums etc, I am stunned that Isuzu/Mazda have gone this far into production with a front end that is obviously wrong. Going back to the dealer or whoever for regular wheel alignments is obviously not the answer, an aftermarket steering knuckle is already available, when will Mazda/Isuzu wake up and make a steering knuckle like the aftermarket item so as to FIX the problem?? Hi Luxe owners laugh at this stuff.

Nah definitely not! We live in a rural area so drive rough roads daily and have no issues.
Appreciate the feedback 🙏🏼

Nice work mate. Good honest review
Bugger. My work ute, a 21 hilux sr dual cab, is being swapped for one of these. I'll miss the awesome cup holders in the Hilux.
Good review mate. Really like that AFN bar. How do you rate it?
I might review it soon 😂

@@OUTANDBACKOFFROAD I reckon a lot of these companies are using cheaper lights these days. Had and seen the same issues with other brands.
Hey mate what did you do for the rear sensor relocation?
We purchased the brackets through Hayman Reese when we got the towbar. Unfortunately an extra cost and not included with the towbar kit.
What about wind noise from 80kms onwards , is it wind passing over the car or wind getting past the seals o I am sure yet on which one.
I dont have the issue so far, but it could be any number of things realistically
Nice video! Wish Mazda would sell the BT-50 in America 😭
And i wish American trucks were much more affordable in Australia 😂

Yeh most people with the issue are doing alignments every 5000km, some even more! Its pretty bad given that this is a factory issue
What's the brand of steering knuckle you're talking about please ? Is it the SuperPro version ?
@@aviationaerospacechannel5987 Yes that's the one I see advertised by a few of the 4wd specialists.
