Friends, have you seen this picture? These are railway stations in India. Did you and I ever think 10 years ago that one day railway stations in India will look like airports? But now all of this is possible, and this development won't be limited to just one or two railway stations. Instead, it will encompass all 1300 railway stations in the country, which will be developed under the Amrit Bharat initiative. We've mentioned this in our videos before.
Out of 1300 railway stations, work is already in progress on 508 railway stations. Some of these stations will be transformed into world-class stations.
In this entire redevelopment process, the focus will be on modernizing railway infrastructure. Because the current state of our railway stations often includes dirt, dirty washrooms, non-AC waiting rooms, inadequate seating arrangements, and some stations even lack proper entry and exit points or safety protocols.
But Indian Railways is now going to solve all of these issues. Buildings will be modernized and aesthetically designed. Platforms will be resurfaced, beautiful landscaping will be done, roof plazas, food courts, kids play areas, escalators, and various other facilities will be provided.
In today's video, we will learn about India's upcoming world-class railway stations. We will also learn how many stations will be redeveloped in each state. Additionally, I will show you 3D renders of upcoming railway stations.

We are competitors but we can be inspired by their system they have gates like airport after showing ticket they can enter the specific gate which decreases the crowd on the platform and the gates are opened only before the 15 minutes of train departure.

All railway stations should have common design of public convenience like placement of escalators, lifts, wallways, restaurant,etc. the only thing unique should be the appearance. What i see is all stations with unique design of everything. This will only create confusion and delay for passengers who have arrived to the station for the first time.

Old Heritage station buildings should be renovated rather than replacing them in the name of modernization. Many of them are magnificent architectures. Better buildings than any buildings made after Independence and can match in future...

We are modernizing over 1300 railway stations and over 3000 new trains. Why can't we have
1. Why can't we have covered platforms and boarding like abroad, in a monsoon hit country like India?
2. Why can't we have metro-like platform level boarding? It'll be extremely helpful for the old, children and the specially abled
3. Why can't we have better vehicle access to the station premises with clear markings and scientifically designed entry and exit points for pedestrians, vehicles, taxis/autos, buses etc
4. Why can't we have metro-like platform barricades with automatic doors so that the driver need not honk incessantly and ensure the safety of everyone in our crowded stations?
5. Why is someone highly educated like the Railway minister lacks attention to these small details?
6. Escalators are travelators are absent on foot over bridges even in the newly developed stations where crores have been spent. Foot over bridges are where it is maximum necessary because of the luggage people are carrying, and but in many stations, escalators are towards stations masters room to keep babus happy

We will need to have automatic ticket based entry system for stations. Entry area of large stations should have space for 100-150 such machines or more at entrance.
We cannot afford to operate in cattle farm fashion anymore. Everyone who gets into a train should have a ticket a reserved seat. And automatic gates at entrance will make sure no one gets on without a ticket. TC's job will be simpler. Also corruption by TC will drastically reduce.

India needs to spend 4-5 trillion dollars to modernise the Indian railways. That includes developement of all 7349 railway stations to world class standards. Laying the new railway lines which support Max Speed of 400-500 kmph. Also all the railways stations should have entry systems like metro where you cannot catch a train without ticket. All the train tracks should be over the flyovers just to avoid anyone creating any incidents . Then we should build HSR trains which can run at 350+ speeds. The trains should have AI enabled systems which can run the train in auto mode, for collision safety , India should implant the radar systems which can scan beyond visual range for any objects on the tracks farther to avoid any train to train collision. AI enabled system can stop the train when there is certain threshold has met. Like train is in the close vicinity (around 20-30 km of that object. Driver can also monitor all these systems and intervene if required. The distance between stations should be at least 50km and below 50km we can build metro system.
