Their backstories in general are so inspiring and moving 🥺 he went looking for ALMSIVI but just because he didn’t find their physical forms didn’t mean he found nothing. He discovered dragon blood, his faith restored, he went looking for his goddess and found her in a much more meaningful way. I wish I could be as good a story teller 🥺
This doesn't come as a surprise, knowing your love of Dunmer, lol! Thank you, this one is really fun! I absolutely love the effort you all put into your videos. ❤️💙💜
Immersion is a personal opinion not a set fact. I honestly like both 1st person and 3rd person. 3rd person for walking around cause I'm someone that enjoys looking at the character I spent hours making and downloading clothes and armor mods for. 1st person I use sometimes when I use a bow, cast a spell or maybe when I'm using a sword and shield. But not always, I switch a lot. I hope TES never goes 100% first person cause if they did they would lose a lot of their fan base cause there would be no reason for the awesome character creation engine anymore if you can't see your character. Its why Cyberpunk 2077 didn't get my money and this was before it turned out to be broken.
@Thalmor Agent I agree I love both for the same reasons. I also think both are great for immersion and I do not feel either is better or worst for terms of immersion. Its why I posted. @Caio Diniz I feel IMMERSION in general is something for the Eye of the Beholder if you will, to decide for themselves what they like. Whether or not it is Story Telling, just looking around a world, in combat, crafting, you name it. Immersion is simply not set in stone, and so I love both for so many reasons. I feel someone else should not decide what is more immersive for others. That seems to be a growing trend that I find rather annoying. That was CD Projekt Red's approach when the CEOs rushed them, then went and said "We decided to make it all 1st person cause that is more immersive!" No thanks, I will decide for myself based on the situation and what needs to be done what is and isn't more immersive for me thank you very much. You know? :)
Was just watching old builds because I can’t ever stay content on one character apparently. Glad to see new builds are coming out! Really excited for all the creative stuff.
THE SHEER QUALITY BOYS my lord for real love it. The voice over is amazing, the raspy voice you used for so well. It’s not my favorite build, (it’s amazing not knocking y’all by any means) but it is my favorite video y’all have ever made.
I also believe there can be more story reason to helping the Stormcloaks. As the biggest reason the Nords complain about the Dunmer being in windhelm is that they do not help them fight the Empire, while killing imperials is a good bonus, it would shut the mouths of the Nords too of the Dunmer not helping them out, seeing a group of Dunmer fight for the Stormcloaks would settle that issue real quick and maybe get proper help for the Dunmer in Skyrim, maybe even strike a deal with Ulfric to open a small temple to Almelexia.
There's like double the armour sets and artifacts with AE. There's enough for easily 30+ more Builds. Not to say they'll make that many, but if they're up to it, there's plenty of new content for Builds.
Parts of this backstory are perfect for developing a vampire dunmer, my head’s been circling around. Though ultimately I’d abandon Almalexia as a false or dead god in favor of Dagon or Mora for my intellectually inclined and dissociative persona
If there’s one thing I can appreciate about the AE, it’s that Bethesda basically went off and made mods into creation club items, then made that cannon (as far as I can tell) That’s so fucking cool to me. Some mega fan that dedicated all their time and energy into coding a quest for their favorite game within the past 10 years and boom. It’s just as real as the dark brotherhood
@@youstolemyhandleyoutwat No I've been around since before SE even came out. Yes, it's true that there wasn't any new Builds for them to make, "wasn't" being the key work. @@HappyHippo2002 yea but instead they’ll keep making builds with mod content rather than using the content that’s already in the game smh. Anniversary has so much potential but they’re to concerned with the mods
I knew some history and lore of the Dark Elves, like how they were cursed to have their gray skin complexion by Azura. And their stance on outlanders, but to hear more about their history and the lore behind some in-universe beliefs and stuff really helps understand them more. Especially since I'm mostly thinking about doing a modded play through with mods focusing on Dark Elves like Project AHO and Teldryn Serious. Mostly adventure from a wandering mercenary to a warrior of renown who holds a lot of knowledge on things. So this build is right up the same alley. :D
I've looked over the content for the expansion and it at least seems like there's alot more builds yall could do espcially with all the new spells and weapons, if yall are interested in doing that at least
This is possibly the last time we are gonna get a collection of vanilla Skyrim builds with all the new armours and builds we got with the Anniversary edition. I’m just so happy these types of videos are back! Can’t wait for the many more to come before you maxed out! My favourite build to this day is still the Dragon priest build!
Thank you guys so much for this video. The dark elves are my favorite race in the elder scrolls, and I actually started this build myself. However I decided to make a few tweaks to the backstory on my playthrough. My characters name is Vanrus Ulveani. He has a similar upbringing to Dremen, however he was born into the tribunal. His mother was a priestess of Almalexia and his father was an ordinator. When he goes to Skyrim and discovers that he is the dragonborn, he believes that Almalexia has blessed him with great power, immune to the perversions of gods and daedra. For Vanrus, this was a sign from the blessed mother Almalexia to be her herald for the return of the tribunal. To seek out strength and power to rebuild his once great order. Unlock the secrets of the way of The voice. Gain the trust of lesser gods and daedra, only to use their strength and secrets against them. Gather vast amounts of wealth and properties. Recruit strong and capable companions, aside from imperials and argonians. Become skilled in both blade and sorcery. It matters not, he will carry out her will by gathering as much might as he can, and seek out those who stayed faithful. The only thing I changed to the build is his lore. Same perks as dremen, dual wielding, heavy armor, smithing, restoration and enchantment. However Vanrus does not hesitate to use magic or Powers gifted by others. It's all in the service of Almalexia. He will never side with the imperials, or if he does it's to betray or kill them later. And he will always find a chance to kill argonians whenever he can.
been following you guys since 80k and through a few different accounts and still after all these years your content consistently great. glad to see it.
Sailors Repose would suit this build well. Useful cost reduction to restoration and the quest could easily be role played as having come from Amerlexia herself in a dream or whispered.
Who else had money on the first FM AE build being Morrowind based? And is anyone willing to put money on if the next few will also involve elements from the Morrowind based content?
Love how you rp the "enchantments" on the armor as "effect of his faith inspiring him". That's an awesome idea and I really want to try this aspect of the built out for myself.
I bought the anniversary edition on my pc and playing through it again after so many years so amazing. The creation club additions are very well done too. Normally I don’t like over monetization of games (especially those that are a decade old) but I’m having so much fun with it! Haven’t even gotten to the new stuff yet but I’m sure it’s great
I'm playing a version of this that I call the Temptress of Almalexia. With Wintersun she follows Boethiah as Almalexia's Anticipation was Boethiah. I added Illusion because Almalexia was renowned for her tricks and Boethiath is the Prince of plots. Sneak is also required to help with devotion to Boethiath and replaces most of the speech perks.
Funny enough, this video found me at MY lowest point following several tragedies(and one or two coming later down the road) watching this inspired me to keep the faith to. As I write this, my condition has been officially cured and I’m filling out the paperwork to graduate. I kept the faith.
You could play companions all the way through, if you decide before talking to the Jarl and discovering your dragonborn ability, while his faith is still low, to play the questline. Him taking on the werewolf abilities of Hircine could be seen as him abandoning Almalexia almost entirely, and giving into carnal brutality, and then once he comes back and discovers his dragonborn abilities, renews his purpose and resolve, and he then goes on a cleansing path where he cures himself of lycanthropy and abandons the Companions altogether.
I am playing with this build as I always liked these guards from marrowind. I do have some minor changes: 1. Not leveling speech. Instead going into destruction and block. Also alchemy to make that coin. 2. Companions - joining it and may stay a werewolf. I think it's cool to have a dark secret. 3. Will be leveling magicka a tad after stamina is at 200. 4. Using steed Stone. 5. Doing more of the daedric quests. 6. Going to do archery as well but won't level all the skills. More of a battle tactic rather than sneaking strategy. 7. Dark brotherhood and thieves guild will be joined. More for practical purposes as I could see this soldier having that thought process.
I’d love to see what you guys do with a Glass Warrior build with the new assets that came to Skyrim if you guys ever do choose to revamp that build again!
I like this build with maybe mixing in some block, archery and destruction. Speech is in line with the role play but I don't think block or archery would be too far off target (pun intended). Destruction I think helps leverage the innate early game boost that dunmer have in that skill. I've used it in the first 10 levels and it helps when you can't go toe to toe with some of the more beefy enemies.
Imagine the fight between this guy and the warrior of the reclamation (Milaara) build. I think Milaara would win for sure but never the less would be a epic fight.
I have a question: could the Tribunal ever return? Vivec was always my favorite, but I think Sotha Sil just didn't get a lot of attention. He was so quiet and in the background so it was hard to get a feel for him. I'd love to imagine the Tribunal could return though. They are my favorite "gods". Though, almost every god in TES is debatably something else.
If you're hoping for them to return after Morrowind, I'm afraid the answer no. Almalexia and Sotha Sil are receiving Azura's judgement, no way they will come back, maybe Vivec is still alive but it's unlikely he'll appear in TES VI, but who knows...
I actually made a change to the build that I wanted share: I love the build as it is but I also like playing as younger characters rather than older ones for the most part and I also REALLY like the ancient Nords so I went with the Breton race at character creation and am roleplaying as a half-Nord and half-Dunmer “Manmer”
Hey, I know times are probably hard with how Bethesda is not giving loads of material to work with, but don’t promote predatory games like Raid. Especially when you feel the way you do about creation club. I love you guys.
This is inspiring me. To write an Altmer who is very much against the Thalmor, but also against a weakened Empire who bends the knee because they lost the will to fight for what they believed in.
I just so happened to be roleplaying a disgraced ordinator in my latest Skyrim playthrough, and this video has added a lot to the richness of his character.
Although I am extremely happy with new build and I am hoping there will be more than one, I would allow myself some friendly criticism to the backstory (not the new first-person style, which was quite refreshing, but the story itself). I know that at the end it's all personal preference, and new CC content fits quite well with this, but I still think that instead of regaining his faith, the Hand should've just moved on. Not that he should completely abandon Almalexia, but rather accept her demise and do his best to represent her values, and help his fellow Dunmer. Anyways, you guys inspired me for yet another playthrough. I am going to alter this build a little bit for myself, but it will definitely be based on your's Hand of Almalexia.
And I thought I was extra with plotting character quest paths to a partial backstory idea..damn, then again you have way more to entertain than just yourself. Cheers, and good work. My favorite fanfic run has been on survival, a woodelf archer with lycanthropy and namiras ring. One to represent the greenpact shapeshifting and the other to represent the cannibalism within them. Probably the most fun I've had..now I'm on a dark elf vampire, one handed mage and I'm trying to flesh out the details of the path.
I do think that wearing the mask of Almalexia is probably fine from a role playing standpoint. In many religions/cultures, taking on the mask/face of a monster, spirit, or animal will allow you to become one with that being, temporarily allowing them to speak through you, guide you, or enlighten you. It can also be part of a ritual to appease or express gratitude toward the being you're trying to embody/contact. For example, the hides or skulls of bison may be worn as part of a ritual to appease the spirits of all the bison that the group has hunted during the year and to honor them for their (albeit unwilling) role in keeping the human group alive. A ritual like that is often believed to be central in preserving the balance of the universe: for example, if the spirits are not appeased, the bison will disappear and the humans will starve or the humans will be haunted by the angry herds. From an in-universe, in-character point of view, to wear the mask of the goddess could be seen as not just being her hand but also her eyes, ears, and mouth. She has given you her mask, after all. If she didn't want you to have it then you wouldn't have it. In total submission to her you open yourself to being merely a vessel for her to work through and in return she blesses you with the power to be her champion and harbinger.
Also I think Almalexia stands for the virtues of compassion, sympathy and forgiveness, vivec and sotha sil I’m not so sure. I say these things because Dremin Sarethi (the hand of Almalexia) seems to be following the values of house Redoran before dagoth ur stole kagrenac’s tools and the heart of lorkan from the tribunal additionally before the oblivion crisis, the argonian invasion, the fall of the tribunal and the forth era. If I’m wrong correct me
Hope you see this, would like to see a kahjit vampire hunter build. Think this build would be a pretty fun play. There claws, night vision and speed. Just wondering how it would look and the story would be.
I loved this video and was as excited for new fudge muppet builds as I was the new content itself. I hope to see more builds for the CC in the future. Thank you!
I knew it was coming and once agian you have me restarting just too play one of your builds. The backstory epic one of the best backstories I've heard form you
Looking forward to a possible build involving the Saints & Seducers quest. The build could be some insain, cheese hoarder, decked out in Madness or Amber armor. Summoning Golden Saints & Dark Seducers. & worshiping the Prince of Maddness. & of course going after the WABBAJACK!
I was looking through the list and hadn't seen a Vigilant build. More of a role playing build, but could still be viable. Conjuration Spells allowed are Conjure Familiar, Conjure Flaming Familiar, Banish Daedra, Expel Daedra. Breton, so you can start with Conjure Familiar and gain magic absorption. Agent of Mara because its priestly and stats. Sailor's Repose and Adopting a Child for big heals and because you are a good person. Lord Stone as its proximity to the Vigilant's Hall gave a connection to Stendarr or something. (Agent of Dibella is always good, but not really in role playing purposes) Conjuration 75 for spells, but take no perks relying on enchants. Alteration 100 but skipping magic resistance, atronarch, and dual casting (resistance capped at 90 and plan on getting Elemental Protection in the Block tree). Restoration 100 excluding Ward Absorb, Avoid Death, and Dual cast perk (to conserve on perk points can exclude higher than Adept). Block perks on the left until Elemental Protection. One Handed perks up to Savage Strike. For a variation with armor attached to it remove Mage Armor from Alteration and only go into the lowest Heavy Armor perk as you will not be in full armor. Steel Plate Gauntlet and Boots. Helmet feels like overkill. Silver Sword can be used at lower levels or as a back up weapon if primarily using offensive restoration. Dawnguard Shield is what i pick so I can enchant, but can't be Spellbreaker if you pick an artifact as its through a Daedric Quest. Stendarr's Amulet is what I stick with until you get ahold of something with Resist Disease. Alchemy could be another way to deal with it through Cure Disease and do better enchantments, but for roleplaying purposes, Stendarr is actively blocking diseases of Vampires and the like. Smithing, Enchanting, Speech, and Alchemy to users discretion. Weapon Enchant (Turn Undead, Banish). Robe Enchant (Fortify Conjuration, Resist Disease), Helm or Hood (Fortify Conjuration, Restoration), Boots (Fortify OneHanded, Stamina Regen), Gauntlet or Gloves (Fortify OneHanded,Block), Shield (Fortify Block, Resist Disease), Amulet (Fortify Restoration, Resist Disease), Ring (Resist Disease, Fortify Restoration)

6. Going to do archery as well but won't level all the skills. More of a battle tactic rather than sneaking strategy.
7. Dark brotherhood and thieves guild will be joined. More for practical purposes as I could see this soldier having that thought process.
All of us Vanilla players on Switch: "They haven't forsaken us!"
So awesome to see a new build!
It'd be nice to see more builds with the new creations!
I really like the look of Her Hand armor.
Been a fan for like 5 years, but only the Skyrim and fallout 4 builds, love you buddy, and ofc your builds
@@Vchk1917 I'm sure you are right. But you know there is always a way in TES. Lol
I hope not
Only within a prequel

I love the idea of Dunmer joining the Stormcloaks to fight the mongrel dogs of the empire.
Yeah, and being good with the grey quarter "because we don't want to mingle with Nords anyway" or something like that!
They're back! Missed these, great work as always guys! So your colab with the atronach stone isn't over yet it seems haha
You should remake the vivecs faithful build with theese items
-bone mold armor
-vivecs mask (from ghost of the tribunal)
Almost as reality-breaking as a bucket! ❤️
Your change doesn't make much sense narrative wise, since the Dunmer are ethnocentrists, but hey, as long as you enjoy it.
This is favourite build u guys are so talented at story telling too 👏 keep up fantastic work
Content creators: we will never get sponsors by things we don't believe in
Raid shadow legends:
I'm gonna make him an offer he can't refuse
I am so happy to see another build! I really enjoyed this format. The Role Play presentation is on point! Great work as usual guys!
4:20 i became high at that moment too :D
Love ur vids
I've prayed and my prayers have been answered. Thank you fudgemuppet and ALMSIVI.
Loved this!! Hope there will be more builds. Keep up the good work.
Now that we have a Tribunal build, how about a Last 6th House Descendant build for the Dagoth Ur mask? :)
Looks like builds are back on the menu, boys!
Love the call back to the warrior of reclamation Milara Sarethi in the beginning of the backstory
This is great I hope u do more builds in the future, I’ve always wanted to see you guys remaster the glass warrior
Kind of like how Basri Ket from Magic: The Gathering carrying on and spreading his faith even though his goddess is dead.
So very sad for his life. But, I am glad he chooses a life of fighting evil. Awesome build and video. 🙃☕❤❤❤
If I’m wrong correct me
I really like this new 1st person take on the backstory. You should keep doing that.
Hope you see this, would like to see a kahjit vampire hunter build. Think this build would be a pretty fun play. There claws, night vision and speed. Just wondering how it would look and the story would be.
Loved the flavors of life the character has gone through by the start of the events in skyrim
Under sun and sky, outlander, we greet you warmly.
It's been fun and nostalgic watching a build video! Thanks Scott 😁
I’m more of a fan of how you guys did the backstory before, but I like this new variation too.
YES!!!!! LETS GET THESE ANNIVERSARY EDITION BUILDS GOING BABY! I KNEW YOU GUYS WOULD COME THROUGH!
Would love a character based off the Mask of Dagoth Ur introduced in the AE edition.
Idk l'm more of a pelinal whitestrake Type of guy But I'm glad to see these builds are coming back👏👏
I want to see Dremyn and Milara fight over their faiths.
Considering Scott’s love of dunmer does this really surprise anybody plus the new DLC is littered with references from Morriwind
I love these builds, we need as many as you guys can manage! ❤
this was awesome. looking forward to more cool builds.
Been holding off playing the anniversary edition for this build. I'm so pumped. Thanks guys!
(Agent of Dibella is always good, but not really in role playing purposes)
Conjuration 75 for spells, but take no perks relying on enchants.
The legends are back!!
I love that they used the Daggerfall sprites when illustrating the Four Corners.
