Another Texas Guitar 🎸 Legend. Master of the slide playing Blues R.I.P. Johnny Winter ☮️
Wow looking out and seeing a lot of young faces getting into The Wizard Johnny was a Legend in blues there will never be no one like him R.I.P. BRO 👍👍
Saw him at Warren Haynes Christmas Jam a year later and he literally stole the show, even Warren was dazzled by his brilliant licks!!!!!
Saw this Legend at the Canadian World Music Festival in Toronto's CNE Stadium in 1979.
I did some particularly strong Acid and Johnny looked like a fucking R&R Ghost, up there.
It was magical baby, l love this man.
I saw him in Denver the first time in 1969 and I was flying on orange sunshine. What a show and you are right he put on an amazing performance.
Johnny passed through town, and played at our blues festival here on the Arkansas River... not long before he passed.... I’m so glad I got to see him 👍🏼RIP...
One of highlights of my life was seeing him in person at Chicago House of Blues, my friend and I stood a couple inches from him, fabulous experience!!!
The G.O.A.T. of blues guitar.
One of many, Bloomfield was already awesome well before Johnny. Roy Buchanan although Roy did not play slide.
You can almost see the band thinking “all we have to do is not fuck this up. Johnny’s got this!”
Lmao.....so true.....on stage with a living Legend. 🎸👍🎸🎸🇺🇲👍
Johnny's list of favorites are exactly the same as my list.
That is as cool as it gets. I went to 3 Johnny Winter shows back in the day. Wish I had gone to more. I listen to his music to this day.
Two Legends of Slide Guitar, one old, one young. The passing of the Torch and the rite of passage are so very plain to see here. Music is a shrine to our soul. Thanks to all for their contributions.
My two favorite songs of Johnny winter are highway 61 and still alive and well. RIP bro.
Saw Johnny probably 100 times the man was unreal this version was very late in life in his heyday with Floyd Radford and Rick Derringer was iconic.
The greatest of all the white bluesmen. A phenomenal guitar player, and much missed.
Music including blues does not care what color you are!
@@lbcharlie05 👍❤
@@lbcharlie05 Then why does it thrive so much more in white nations?
@@larebear1902 maybe "white nations" enjoy music, not racism.
@@lbcharlie05 - maybe someday white nations will enjoy no racisms and not have to endure anti white racisms every other post on social media.
