I bought acer aspire 7,3 years back,as it had a GTX 1650 i used it exclusively for gaming,but as it is not a gaming laptop,plastic melted,hinges damaged,i watched some videos on RUclips,found out about upgrading ram,undervolting cpu,replacing thermal paste,bought a laptop stand.i wish I knew these things before buying.

My 16 year laptop journey from windows to macbook laptops.
1) Dell Inspiron 15 (2007-13): ye mera first laptop tha and us waqt mujhe zada PC knowlege nhi thi. Sabse jada excietment isi laptop me thi kuki tab youtube etc pe unboxing etc nhi dekhne ko milti thi and box me bhut kuch tha creative headphones, tons of CDs, a proper high quality dell branded bag. Ye achha laptop tha but 15.3" ka bhut bhari barkam size tha and kuki mane ispe daba ke gaming ki thi to isme heating issue tha jiski wajah se ye autoshutdown ho jata tha plus battery sirf 1 saal bad kharab ho gyi thi but mostly ye sab meri fault thi because mai bhut gaming karta tha.
2) Asus X200CA 11.6"(2013-present): Kuki dell bhut bhari barakam tha to mane socha is bar small & light laptop lena hai to mane ye 11.6" screen wala laptop buy kiya and isse mujhe koi shikayat nhi thi and aj tak isme koi problem nhi ayi, battery bhi same chl rhi hai, ye abhi bhi mere pas hi hai as family laptop and aj tak mane isme ek pesa nhi khracha Ek problem jo isme ayi thi wo this charger ki, charger khrab ho gya tha but lukily mujhe kisi dost se new asus charger milgya (koi uske office me bhul gya tha and wapis lene nhi aya). Iska battery backup bhut kam tha like 2 hours and isme heating bhut hoti thi because of small body and old gen i3 but wo auto-shutdown wali problem isme nhi ayi also Is time tak mane gaming ke liye alag computer le liya tha to gaming mai ispe nhi karta tha.
3) Lenovo Yoga 13 (2020-2022): Although Asus me koi major problem nhi thi but still I thought ki 11'6" screen bhut choti thi and battery backup bhi kam tha to mane lenovo yoga 13" liya and chalane me ye bhut acha laptop tha, isme finger print tha and ssd thi also touch screen bhi, ye basically ek phone ki tarah tha sleep hone ke bad just finger print touch karo and sabkuch ready but almost 1.5year bad isme touch screen ka issue aya jo lenovo walo se theek nhi hua and laptop me 3 year warrety thi to mane kisi tarah unse almost sara pesa refund karwaliya but agr is laptop me issue nhi ate to ye mera favourite hota.
4) M1 Macbook Air (2022-Present): Ab mane realise kiya ki laptop mujhe ab as secondary device chahiye because I already have my PC for work and thus I went for m1 macbook air. ye base model hai 8gb 250gb wala because yhi avaialable that m1 air me. Bhut smooth laptop hai, bhut light weight hai, harware se koi shikayat nhi hai except ports ke but software me apple ne bhut sare dumb cheeze ki hai jo windows me much better hai but again kuch cheeze apple me achhe hai jo windows me khrab hai baki abhi mujhe isse use karte hue 1 saal bhi nhi hua but abhi tak isme koi issue nhi hai..heat ye hota hi nhi and battery life iski almost phone jitni hai with regular use also mac OS apple ke sare OS me sabse zada open ended OS hai jo mujhe expected nhi tha.

Bought Mi notebook pro, a year ago and satisfied with my purchase, the build, the screen and battery (8 hour backup) are awesome, so light weight and feels solid, unlike established brand's laptops which use plastic built and small touchpads (you are using a touchpad more than anything) and below avg display (220 nits brightness, 45% NTSC).

His priority is "Colorful Keyboard lights".
I get depressed looking at how people can spend on temporary crap without even fully appreciating its potential.
Also i stopped suggesting Gaming Laptops to anyone.
You want gaming? Go buy PC.
You want for school and college? Go get Macbook or one of those vivobooks if you plan to replace in 5 years. Atleast Macbooks can last easily for 10years, Unless you fck them physically.

TRUE! Display Screen is the most underrated aspect of a laptop. ASUS is the only company which makes great displays on their laptop. Other companies cost cut on the display part.
