What is the name of the music track?
Impressive but not quite as remarkable as Al Oerter's 4 consecutive Olympic gold medals
i hesitate to use the term "best" when talking about an athlete competing during the drug fueled era, and an East German on top of that. the East Germans started the steroid doping mania, the Russians followed and the rest of the world after that. The Americans were not immune to steroid usage either, as there were many banned from competition also. Schult did have a monster throw, no doubt, but his long term average throw belies that the fact that the 74m throw was abnormal and never approached since. throwers like Aletna and Kantor have much better 10 year averages. and the "best" competitor belongs to none other that Al Oerter and his 4 Olympic golds. Al did the best on a particular day 4 times, and could have gone for a 5th had politics stopped his quest.[boycott of the 80 Moscow Olympics]
