Another enjoyable and informative video. Thank you. Excited to try my hand at some plein air painting when the weather will cooperate.
Grizzlies? Where did you film this?

Thanks Michael! This was filmed in Grand Teton National Park on the extreme north end. There are some nice patches of aspens there and in autumn they are beautiful with the mountain backdrops. Unfortunately when I was there this last September the smoke from the wildlife fires further west created a haze that subdued the mountains.

The painting is nice, but did not capture the coolness of the scene. You went all warm and muddy for some reason and lost the impact of the focal point.

Thanks for your feedback but I have to disagree. This was an autumn scene with lots of yellows and oranges, not sure what is cool about that. Also, what would the focal point be on a scene like this? Many landscapes don't need a focal point but can focus on the whole rather than a specific point.

@@JasonTako OK, just thought those cool green leaves in the background would have set that nice yellow (the focal point in the photo) off better. JMHO.

@@---Dana---- It's probably hard to tell in the photo, but those were not cool green leaves in the background, but clumps of gray aspen trunks.
