I enjoyed your video. I have a betta on the way and I have my 9 gal home all set up and ready/cycled. You can never watch too many videos. Today I learned of 6 deadly plants and lucky for me the peace lily was only in my water for a few hours and I removed it before my fish arrives...wow. Anyway, thank you for this video.
Yes … someone suggested to keep guppies with my betta. I had 15 guppies and ended up with 3 by the end of the week. I gave those 3 back to the store. I have had luck with keeping neon tetras with my betta. He killed 2 when I first put them in, but they learned to stay away after that. The tetra much faster than the betta so they get away better I think.
Great video, We have a Betta in a Fluval Flex 15g. We had to modify the output of the Flex with some floss sponge. It reduced the flow which made him happy. He’s in there with some hill stream loaches and snails, seems happy!
I also had to McGyver a solution in my Fluval Flex 15g with some filter sponge on the nozzles and a little bit in the clip-on return with the smaller vents. My little guy was struggling!
Good timing Richelle! I have been think of getting a betta. Never had one before. Good info as always. I have kept tropical fish for years and started to keep African cichlids a few years ago thanks in part to your videos. I love them! Thanks
Thank you for another wondeful v-log regarding betta... love it. i have 3 bettas right now.. some of them i trained to do a hand feed and live in the community tank. but be safe regarding filter if you drop them they find the hiding places some times inside the filter and they never come back because we run the filters. for best filters use spray bar filters or sponge filters for them.
Great video Rachelle. I am into AC’s but i just met someone who keeps a betta in a bowl 😭 Not a bad or careless person but another example of misinformation. I will send her the link to your video! All the best with your store 😘
I have a friend the same she have the poor betta in the bowl I even bought her a 5 gallons with filter and heater she broke it and put him back to the bowl 😢I don’t even wanna to go to her house because it breaks my heart 😢
Thank you for the great video! I saved 3 white cloud mountain minnows from abandoned in a yard..they were in a 4 gallon tank. I want to buy them a 20 gallon tank and add 3 more.. But can i use that small tank for a betta? Or should i rather not?
Great video as always ! I'll add to that to make sure to cut the flow of the filter, specially for halfmoon, they get tired pretty quick, that leads to à lot of stress and in no time you end up with fin rot. Anything sharp needs to be remove choose décoration wisely these fins are super fragile Light yes but it needs to be dimmed ! In the wild they are mostly hiding under beds of leaves. So floating plants are verry interesting for a betta aquarium! They like tannins in the water, catappa leaves are a must Also betta's are a fish that gets bored and become lethargic quite often. Keep them in shape by exercising them with a mirror every other day .. 15 mins max ... make them flare those beautifull fins ... and enjoy a happy betta 🙂
Thank you for sharing :) I put a mirror in front of my betta in the 15 gal tank. When I got back, even the Hengeli rasboras were flexing in front of it. My betta is a bad influence lol
Hi I have a question. I'm setting up a 125 litre aquarium with a canister filter and a large internal filter. Is 5 or 6 yellow labs, 5 - 6 demasoni and a bristlenose pleco overstocked. I'm prepared to do large weekly water changes and will be using a pothos plant to suck up nitrates.
Hi Declan, I sell Northfin here, but I don't know what's available in your country. You'll have to check at your local fish store or pet store. Here is a video that might help you pick out the best food : ruclips.net/video/Aq0upiHXw-s/видео.html
I was here because I wanted to know if they will fit in with Mbunas , I have few Siamese Algae eaters in with my Mbunas , they live pretty happily since a year
To know if a rock can change the ph of the water, use one or two drops on the rock with a solution to lower the ph of the water like "API ph down" and it make lots of bubbles 😊 - Ramon
I like giving them stability. If you want to make them active, put a mirror in front of the tank for a couple of minutes They’ll get a cardio workout trying to kick box that other fish 😅

I've heard of some bettas having trouble with the current, the one I have in the 15gal doesn't seem to mind it at all.
I also had to McGyver a solution in my Fluval Flex 15g with some filter sponge on the nozzles and a little bit in the clip-on return with the smaller vents. My little guy was struggling!
Your such a doll. Thanks for all the information that you offer all of us.

Thank you :) I've had African Cichlids for years before having a betta. It's quite a change of pace. I'm really enjoying the planted tanks.

Great , but i have question? How many betta females can you keep together and how much gallon need they ? Thank you 😁
OMG I love you 'humans are garbage' thank you for the great advice I hope to get a betta soon for my new tank.
Hi, do you know if the aqua one betta trio is OK. It is 32 litre altogether, with each compartment with 10 litres, and has a built in 2 litre filter
Would you put a female Betta or a bunch female Betta with juvenile Bettas?
I know males are aggressive
Beautiful Netya❤️😊👍

Thanks for sharing. I never tried it with those products 😅
@@QuebecCichlides Yes and you will need two drops at the most and its going to make lots of bubbles because they are made of stronger acids.
Hi dear I have 4 betta in 4 different tank if I switch them around it stresses them of keep them existing since betta gets board
