Been using 2016 wireless version since it came out, but eventually got tired of having a proprietary dock to use the mouse wirelessly. I got a Lancehead, but could not get used to its flatter shape. After watching this mouse review I snatched it up for $45 on Amazon, but not before I subscribed. Good stuff, thanks for the in depth review 💪🏼

Your shock jockey voice over jolted me out of the calm b-roll so hard I laughed. Also those “air intakes” might actually be a design reference to pit vipers who have small pits near their mouth that help them sense prey.

I bought the 2012 Mamba 2 and a half years ago. I payed about 70$ new for that one and it was cool from the start, but after one year the battery inflated and couldn't even fit inside, had to take it out, use the mouse wired only and Razer wasn't selling replacement batteries and also liked it a lot more with the extra weight from the battery. Today I got the new 2018 Mamba for 80$ to get back to wireless and paired it up with the new Vespula 2(also have the 1). First impression is that everything is dandy but the materials they put on the rubber side of the mouse freaking ruins it all, comparing the experience with the 2012 when I just got it, the old one simply is like a pro version compared tot his one. Didn't have the Chroma to compare but the 2012 simply feels much better than the 2018, that rubber simply irritates me as the index and middle finger feel the plastic on the buttons while the thumb, ring and little finger feel the rubber.
Finally a review by a person with normal hand size, still deciding between g703 and Mamba

I don't really want a Logitech again because it's a problem on the G703 and G Pro too.
How does this compare to the Rival 310? It is my current mouse.
I've been looking for a wireless mouse that was around the same size as the razer naga and I think I just found the one for me. I've been using the Logitech G502 for a while and it just doesn't fit my hand well at all. The naga fit my hand like a glove.
Now that the mamba is for 45 bucks, its such a steal
I love this mouse! Been rocking it since it and the Rival 650 came out. Also I think this Hyperflux shape is by far the best between this, DA, and Mamba Elite.
I like it much more than I thought I would. I also think it encroaches on the Hyperflux as that version is only 10g lighter, considerably more expensive, and needs a way more restrictive tracking surface.
Anyone finding the mamba wireless to be a little TOO light? Even at 900 DPI for a twitch shooter like warzone, I find my self missing all of my shots. Needs some weight so you can control it with a bit more precision.

so does it just take forever, cause I've had my mouse on plugged in for a little over a hr and it's still showing 0%. Though it runs as though it's at full charge wireless.
I am currently looking at micro switches, and a lot of people seem to say the Omron 50m micro switch Razer uses will die in a few months. I am wondering how was your experience with this Mamba? Was the claim true?

+Jawad Shah Thats the older model. The 2018 model just charges off a braided micro usb cable. You will need to bring THAT specific cable, but this years model is a lot more portable.

just picked one of these up for 50 bucks and its nice for the price but not a fan of the skates that are on this mouse and looks like hyper glides are not offered for this mouse as well or that i could find ...

NERO tbh. I heard mixed things. Depending on which lancehead you’re talking about, the lancehead wireless is trash. It still uses a laser sensor and the battery is trash, the mouse freezes sometimes and is a worst version of the razer mamba 2016
@@LuongVeee i had the lancehead TE now i had read a lot of complaints regarding the wireless version so i bought the TE, yet i am still skeptical on buying a razer mouse again due to the scroll wheels durability, my mamba te scroll suddenly jumps while scrolling

is it hard to take out the charging cable from out of the mouse for anyone? i have to use a lot of force to take out the charging cable from my mouse and i dont know if im damaging my mouse or if the charging cable was intended to be hard to take out from the mouse

Whats better razer mamba 2018 or steelseries rival 650
Haven't used the Rival 650, but it uses the same dual sensor config as the Rival 600 and it's great. Mamba is more comfortable for me.
im in the same boat cant decide between rival 600 and razer mamba my hand is 17cm long and 9cm wide
Had the mouse for a week and returned it, was really pissed at the fact that it didn't save the lighting (simple breathing or static of one or two colors) to its onboard memory with the absence of Razer Synapse 3. It just defaults to spectrum ligthing, which is a really minor thing but it made all the difference. Apart from that, the shape is great and the battery life actually surprised me.
I bought a Mamba Wireless 2018 recently and it seems to be that the right click button doesn't work if you don't click it on dead on center. Is it just my mouse n I need to return it or does this seem to be widespread? I need to know soon as possible since my return-window time is coming up soon to get a replacement from the shop I bought it from n try another
Definitely haven't seen that issue...that sounds like a return.
@@badseedtech OK I got the mouse returned today since they opened roads up in my area from floods... the right clicker works a LOT better on the replacement, so yea it was defective on the 1st one, it happens!

Negative. You'll have to purchase the Mamba HyperFlux and I'm almost certain it comes as a package with the pad.
Why would Razer remove left and right tilt on the scroll wheel? There was no reason to do that.

The software takes a lot of shots by, in my experience, is better than Corsair CUE, more buggy than Logitech (though I still have issues from time to time). It's a beast once you tie in Philips Hue Bulbs though.
The last Razer mouse I had was the Deathadder. It had these rubber sides that would always come off. Does the Mamba have that problem?
I don't think so. I've actually never had that issue with my OG deathadder or my newer elite. How long did you have it before that started happening?

Nope because they revert to the Chroma lighting that the DeathAdder and others have. Only the OLD ones can do the wave effect but they dont have the reliable sensor as the new ones do.

You don't know how to charge the mouse? Just plug the cable into your pc and turn the power off on the bottom of the mouse.

Damn, that's a really tough call. They both weigh the same and perform similarly. While I prefer the shape of the Mamba, I'm gonna have to give the edge to the 703 for 3 reasons.
1) Going Logitech means no Synapse software. If you don't already have it, no need to introduce it on your system.
2) G703 has Power Play compatibility if you want to go that route in the future. Charging a wireless mouse is a drag and the Mamba needs recharging way more often than my G903
3) My Logitech wireless mice wake up faster. It takes the Mamba a second or 2 to situate itself and get going. My Logi mice feel like wired mice.

I guess people know what I think of every wireless input device. For those who don't, it doesn't matter, for each is own and all that shit... Just don't ever rant or call me a cheater when you're using any wireless device. Remember, when you choose any wireless input device you are choosing to put yourself at a disadvantage in competitive games... And that's fine, just don't go around badmouthing people because they can shoot you before you can even move.
That said, Logitec wireless is fabulous, I had their two main mouses, mice, who knows, who cares, to review and they are almost as good as wired... The only time I had issues was at a gaming bar where there were hundreds of wireless things, and Wifi, and all that shit.
The only thing I beg people not to do is buy one of the mediocre wired mouse pads these companies are selling... So, you buy a wireless mouse to get rid of wires on your desk, then you proceed to buy a mediocre, small, wired mouse pad which has a huge dongle, or whatever you want to call it, always getting in your way... Are people retarded? What kind of logic is this?
If you go wireless, go wireless, don't replace one wire for another wire plus another piece of shit on your desk.
PS: If you do go wireless buy the magnificent Logitec 990 Pro or their 903... Razer wireless is mediocre, and I am being very kind today. And no I am not a Razer hater, I own all Razer ambidextrous and left-handed Razer mice (using their EvilGenious Taipan at the moment), and I have always favored their Blackwidow keyboards, currently using the fabulous Razer Huntsman. I also use the Razer Wolverine Ultimate as one of my PC controllers. So no, I do not hate Razer... I've always loved Razer... It's just that sometimes...
Their wireless is shit, at least when compared to Logitec.

Are you reviewer ?? you don't have any content on your channel ?? As for putting your self at a disadvantage, the new wireless mouses from several brands have the same performance as wired these days. I have a Logitech G305. I can't tell any difference in performance over wired but I am not a Pro CS GO player. What I do notice though is thats it is so much nicer not having a wire attached to the device.

As for the mice, there is a reason you don't see any wireless input devices (mice, controllers, keyboards) at any professional tournament. In your home, it should be ok.
But that was not my main issue, my issue is with the charging mouse pads which do have wires, a huge dongle getting in the way of everything, are small, and are made of very poor materials.
In your home, a new wireless mouse should behave almost the same as a wired mouse (I have the Logitec 900 Pro, and the 903, and their great). However, if you are buying a wireless mouse because you don't want the wire, keep the mouse without a wire, that was my point. What I'm seeing is some people, not a lot, buy a wireless mouse and then buy the wired charging mouse pad. Not only did you not get rid of the wire, you now have a dongle attached to a small proprietary mouse pad which is not very good... That was what I was referring to.

I havent used one of those charging pads and I see your point, but I guess its not only about removing all wires from the desk, for a lot its just about removing the wire from the mouse which can cause frustrastions. My mouse cant use those pads anyway and I doubt I would buy one even if it could.
