If the tail on the Skull Spider really bugs you, I find it fun to fold it all the way back to rest right over the eyestalk, so it can't even be pressed! That alongside the "back" legs being folded back help to make things even more difficult for the Master of Stone, or whatever victim the desert Skull Spiders come across!

What if Pohatu lost his arm and replaced it with a prosthetic one, and that's why his left arm's armor is all silver, like a metal arm. That will also explain why he can't use his gear function with his left arm...
I love Pohatu Master. His small frame looks super cool, and I think his silhouette implies a preference for speed rather than strength. His lack of shoulder armor accentuates that, giving me the impression he doesn't like to be weighed down by bulk. And I love his mismatched arms, I like to imagine his silver arm is a result of an accident where he was perhaps fighting recklessly and it needed to be replaced. I feel like having one of the Toa not have shoulder pauldrons is a great idea to make them stand out, and while it's a bit of a shame that his part count is a bit lower than some of the others I think he still looks amazing, and the size differences in the Toa make them look fantastic in a lineup. I hadn't heard of the way you gave him his old 'feet attachments' until this review, but I love them. I can't say I'm a big fan of the boomerangs, but I suppose they match his new 'rough Australian' personality. I think I will definitely try out the feet attachments when I next display him.
I tried flipping his function over. Boomerang chops and kicks give him a continued feel of "desert do-things-just-to-survive", which I feel is the entire point of this new pohatu design.

Well as for me new look of Pohatu that reminds me a little bit Vault Hunters of Pandora (the armor with a bags for loot ,very ligh so it gives him enoght protection, but dosen't slows him down, an accessories that looks like trophes from defeated enemies) makes him much more matching to he's terrains, baren desert, with no living soul in radius of 1km

I love everything about this new Pohatu, except his personality, I don't know if the Mask of Light movie goes with the comics or not, but that's the only Pohatu I really know, I'm use to him being this happy dude not this dead serious guy.
Eh, pohatu was kinda lame in g1 imo. Lewa was already loud and friendly, and it fit him more. Plus, I think g2 Pohatu is kinda insecure. Being short and scared of the dark and scorpions etc. Poor Pohatu

I don't get why they couldn't have just flipped his body so the gearbox could be used for his legs. I mean it would of made him unique like his previous iterations. Imagine his play feature being that of kicking the piss out of skull spiders/scorpions? XD
If you flip the torso, then head ball joint ends up between his legs, which looks awful. To prevent this, he would need a new inner torso, or a custom build, which would probably jack his price up to $20.
Pohatu is very cool. He is the second one favorite after Jaller for me. The things which kinda suck are probably how small he is and the number of parts. I also do not like the silver arm. Kinda plain. Whatever he still is the 2nd and I customized him so his ugglyness in some places was solved.
I prefer Pohatu compared to all the other Toa this year. Before I only liked the Red colour Toa (apart from 2008 that year I liked Lewa). This years Bionicles have been clunky and weird. Pohatu is streamlined and slender. It makes him look fast and more deadly.

Never followed the lore of Bionicle, so I love that this guy looks most like a mecha among the six of the releases.
