My guess on story one is they are somewhere overseas in places like India or the Middle East. The social class references would make me think somewhere in that area. That’s much more common in those regions and would explain the lack of police involvement.
Those places had better be glad that I do not live there, or else things would be done differently over there and they will learn to not start things like that anymore.
Depends on the state. The Federal Department of Labor leaves it up to each State and the States can either make a mandatory break law for their state or they can leave it up to companies to make their own break policies . THis is al based on FLSA rules .
Story 1 imagine being a mama's boy that you noticed your brother left because of your mom and yet you've met all her stuff go by until you were going to get married. All your life you saw all the red flags and did nothing about it which kind of makes this terrible and funny at the same time
it wasnt even revenge, not seeing your grandkids or kids is barely revenge to basic monsters. She didnt care an inch about her family, she cared about her status. Go for that and destroy her, or murder her like we've seen on these things before. And the dad in this story sucked too. Regardless of staying with her to protect the kids, he should have at least given the kids some kind of protection before she got into their heads.
So how was that first story a nuclear revenge? I guess because the evil mom did it? Usually the idea of these is that the OP gets the revenge though, and I fail to see any of that. Also what happened to the dad in all that?
Unfortunately the first story does sound possible: a wealthy woman in a country with a legal system that is heavily influenced by religion. Alaska on another continent? The "Suitable" guy mom picks has no fear of being accused whatsoever. Further it seems expected that the daughter will marry the guy and be a good little wife, even if she hates him. Over here, if there were no court case, the guy should expect to be stabbed in his sleep, maimed, or poisoned.
I would have made the mother pay within the two minutes of the story. The tipping point would have been when the mother literally tried to off members of my fiance's family. The family of the fiance, as well as the daddy, and the other siblings, would have found out who was working with the evil mommy and then made sure that the lot of them had a little...accident together and that no DNA or other evidence could ever be found to trace anyone at the crime scene.
While everyone is wondering about the first story and seems unreal, like why didn't anyone have her arrested. Here is my conclusion, while I'm not dismissing a possibility of it being fake. There are some things, that could make it possible also we don't know a couple key bits of information. 1. We don't know when this took place. 2. We don't know where this took place. These two points matter, because if it was quite some time in the past, there would be more ability to get away with this, than now days. And the where part is important, because not every country has the same quality legal systems as first world countries and corruption is more prevalent. From the looks of this, the Mom likely had ALOT of what is termed as "F you money". Also from the sound of it she had quite the bit of connections and not the good kind if you catch my drift. It's pretty difficult to set up a kidnapping, where the kidnappers are willing to use lethal force without proper connections to pull that off. Also the ability to get someone to intentionally sexually assault someone as well. This indicates that, she has those bad kinds of connections for guys willing to do this for the mom. This power, money and connections, spells it clearly, that it would be incredibly difficult to Rat her out to law enforcement, and even if you did she could likely get out of it, and she could easily get folks to make your life a living hell if you tried. This explains why no one ratted her out, and why the dad didn't leave her or took a active attempt to stop the mom. Because one if he did she could go after him or the kids as well. And if he tried to actively stop her, it could end up worse for the kids. So while it's very possible it's fake, there is possibilities of this happening.
Two minutes in the first story and I would be thinking of ways to make an...accident happen to the mother, and letting the father have a woman that he would truly be happy with in his life.
The father in the first story needs to have the mother locked up for allowing her daughter to be assaulted!! Holy crap
I'm wondering how the monster in the first story isn't locked or dead. She's a threat to everyone
It's fake. No fucking way no one called the cops.

Probably fake. If it is real, the dad is also an enabler piece of shit.

How could any of them stay with that mom? Look at all she did. I hope this is not a true story
