      @@Dethilion Plus two other things:
      1. It sounds like she had a "fuck you amount" of money, meaning that she could probably bankrupt you if she felt like it.
      2. She might have had ties to cartels or other organized crime, I mean it would make the kidnapping part check out when you have 'people' (using that term loosely) like that on your side.
Also as we don't know where or when this took place it could be a in a place where being in a position like that could basically make you untouchable, it would explain why the husband didn't divorce her, the kidnapping stunt showed that it would be WAY more dangerous than leaving a more "normal" abusive partner.
By "normal" I don't mean that an abusive partner is normal, but rather I mean a more traditional abusive partner who doesn't have the power or resources to kidnap people like that.

Custody almost always goes to the mom even if she is a neglectful, abusive or druggie.

it wasnt even revenge, not seeing your grandkids or kids is barely revenge to basic monsters. She didnt care an inch about her family, she cared about her status. Go for that and destroy her, or murder her like we've seen on these things before. And the dad in this story sucked too. Regardless of staying with her to protect the kids, he should have at least given the kids some kind of protection before she got into their heads.

  • @Zebulization

Unfortunately the first story does sound possible: a wealthy woman in a country with a legal system that is heavily influenced by religion. Alaska on another continent? The "Suitable" guy mom picks has no fear of being accused whatsoever. Further it seems expected that the daughter will marry the guy and be a good little wife, even if she hates him. Over here, if there were no court case, the guy should expect to be stabbed in his sleep, maimed, or poisoned.

I would have made the mother pay within the two minutes of the story. The tipping point would have been when the mother literally tried to off members of my fiance's family. The family of the fiance, as well as the daddy, and the other siblings, would have found out who was working with the evil mommy and then made sure that the lot of them had a little...accident together and that no DNA or other evidence could ever be found to trace anyone at the crime scene.

While everyone is wondering about the first story and seems unreal, like why didn't anyone have her arrested.
Here is my conclusion, while I'm not dismissing a possibility of it being fake. There are some things, that could make it possible also we don't know a couple key bits of information.
    1. We don't know when this took place.
    2. We don't know where this took place.
These two points matter, because if it was quite some time in the past, there would be more ability to get away with this, than now days. And the where part is important, because not every country has the same quality legal systems as first world countries and corruption is more prevalent.
From the looks of this, the Mom likely had ALOT of what is termed as "F you money". Also from the sound of it she had quite the bit of connections and not the good kind if you catch my drift. It's pretty difficult to set up a kidnapping, where the kidnappers are willing to use lethal force without proper connections to pull that off.
Also the ability to get someone to intentionally sexually assault someone as well. This indicates that, she has those bad kinds of connections for guys willing to do this for the mom.
This power, money and connections, spells it clearly, that it would be incredibly difficult to Rat her out to law enforcement, and even if you did she could likely get out of it, and she could easily get folks to make your life a living hell if you tried.
This explains why no one ratted her out, and why the dad didn't leave her or took a active attempt to stop the mom. Because one if he did she could go after him or the kids as well. And if he tried to actively stop her, it could end up worse for the kids.
So while it's very possible it's fake, there is possibilities of this happening.
