I was once told to create a dilemma for my sociology class in high school. I made up a narrative that basically went “you find a man on the side of the road. He is dying and there’s nothing you can do to save him. He is fully conscious and in pain, but he is unable to move or speak, and it will take him hours to die. If you were to kill him, no one would ever know it was you. What do you do?”
No one in the class could settle on an answer, and I was called into the counselors office the next day. I didn’t understand why they were so concerned at the time. They asked for a dilemma, so I gave them a dilemma. Not my fault they weren’t expecting a hard one

I was this student 😬 in tenth grade I submitted a short story based on Titus Andronicus, complete with the main character being assaulted and mutilated at the end, along with a murder-suicide and a lot of mental manipulation from the antagonist. I got a B on the assignment but I ended up taking third at a local competition for it so things evened out in the end. Still proud of the story, even if I can find some obvious typos and grammatical errors upon rereading it.

I have a defining moment of my life. So in the fifth grade we started in band, but covid came and slapped me in the face. Sixth grade comes along and I think three people in my family got covid, and for that was one month of quarantine. So when I finally came back and went to band, everybody was so far ahead and I cried and said to my mom "I want to quit band" and my Mon said no. So know here I am, wanting to teach music and have a plan for my future. When I graduate college I will tell my mom, 'cause "You did this for me, I cannot thank you enough." Anyways if you read through this essay of a comment. Thank you.

I might have been the disturbing student, but in a weird way.
We had this homework assignment in like, 5th grade to write about a fight our parents had (or something along those lines), and I just kinda.. couldn't think of anything. My parents didn't really *fight,* more of kind of argued a bit sometimes, but they'd always resolve the issue rather peacefully. So I sat at the table for ages trying to figure out what to do, long enough for my parents to notice and try to help out, only to be surprised by what the assignment was. I don't recall what I ended up writing about, but I recall my mom telling me it had been addressed at one of those parent-teacher meetings, and.. apparently I was basically the only one who had trouble with that assignment due to just not having a fight to write about.
I think that stuck with my writing teacher a bit.

I am generally not surprised that there isn’t mine here. In early 8th grade, i made a creative fiction story for a narrative writing task. I just did a regular work of mine. I used to make “operations” (just stupid ideas i had i made into stories that very often went unfinished). I made this massive expanded universe, and fleshed out a lot of stuff. So our LA teacher gave us the assignment, and my friend was made some story about us surviving a hurricane. I made some story about one of my repeating protagonists bouncing around earth, doing contracts and chasing one guy down, across the world. Then killing them in a sword duel. She asked for a ‘plausible fiction’ and ‘pg’ story. I threw those into the hurricane my other friend wrote about. Also his was 3-6 pages (google docs). Mine was 26. I write incredibly fast for my age, and nailed it in a week. It was supposed to be ‘short’. Plausible fiction? How’s the protagonist being a interstellar war criminal. PG rating? I’ll take shove sword through back and chop off head for 500, Alex. Mine was the longest, and maybe most well written in the class. She gave me a 12/12 for the effort, length, and quality. She said her only gripes were character development. To be fair, i’ve had a LOT of practice typing, and using this character. She was a great teacher. Until she went full time to another school and quit ours. Then we got the incompetent, 90 percent blind Ms Leslie Gillis. She was LAUGHABLY incompetent. Did not know how to quiet the class down, got fooled and tricked a lot. I did my own competence test on her when we were asked to just read ‘Born a Crime’. Whenever she walked close, i would lock my chromebook and look intently at it. She never noticed. We were stuck with incompetent and moronic subs for a MONTH until they found a replacement. Our next teacher was far less than our first, but at least she wasnt gillis. Gilis also cancelled our upcoming sci fi unit for a unit that was 3 days and 1 assignment. In sheer spite, i created a 10-story series called the FYG series. If you haven’t guessed, FYG stands for Fuck You, Gillis. I was looking forward to that sci fi unit too. And yes, i’m still working on it, almost in 9th grade. Will for a while too. Currently working on both a WH40k horror story, and a 4 story intergalactic war saga simultaneously because I’m weird like that. Only the saga is part of FYG series. Lets hope i don’t get another Gillis. It would and wouldn’t surprise me if my old teacher was on reddit, and made a post on mine. Still, Ms Reed was awesome.

I faced a lot of bullying during eighth grade and lost a lot of friends, and it was the inspiration for many of my works during that time. My English teacher gave us an assignment to create something that would express our feelings, so I wrote a short story about a boy getting his bullies, who were his ex-friends and had emotionally abused him for months prior, in trouble with the vice principal. I decided to not submit it at the last moment, and I instead wrote a brief short story about a girl whose friends suddenly disappear during a sleepover. I still have the short story about the bullies with me, and it's quite sad reading it, as well as reading the diaries that I kept during that time. I was sliding into a depressive episode during it, and I would constantly write about my bouts of loneliness and alienation. It was awful, but I got through it.

I wrote a twisty, horribly tied together, acid-trip like, ridiculous story that was supposed to be about a man named Rabies slowly going insane (I may or may not have been really into Night In The Woods). Anyway, chapter 41 (really short chapters) was just Rabies tied in a chair and being forced to watch people torture various people in lots of different ways. I showed it to my friend and he didn’t make it halfway through. I hate how goddamn ‘edgy’ I was.

I had the habit of trying to force the genre of fictional story I was into at the time into whatever creative assignment.
I guess that's how I ended up writing about a guy running away from a hitman after being late on delivering some poisonous plant to the hitmans boss.
It was a assignment were we got the end of a story. A scene were a guy jumped into a waiting taxi going to the airport. We were to write what lead up to the situation.
I had my protagonist entering a taxi and ordering the driver to go to the airport. Than he remembers his task of delivering something important to a guy that has payed him and offered more money upon delivery. He orders the taxi driver to stopp at the mall, drive around and to wait on the other side of the mall. He goes to a shady bar/caffè in a subway station under the mall meeting boss-guy and someone who is obviously his (not that professional) hitman/goon to deliver a poisonous plant (I was into learning about wild plants at the time and read about a flower growing in the alpes. Actually saw it during summer vacation. So I had to include it. Yea. Teenage cringy logic). Boss is mad about the delay. Threatens the protagonist. Protagonist excuses himself to the bathroom. In the bathroom he picks up a discarded coat hanging in the bathroom and books it. He is followed and shot at by the hitman but makes it to his waiting taxi.
    Yea...

I took an Indonesian language class in college. The teacher gave extra credit for creativity and there was one assignment where we were supposed to write about our ideal house. One of my classmates wrote about abducting his neighbors' cats, keeping them in a dungeon in his basement in which he would kill the cats, and then selling their meat back to the neighborhood kids to eat. The teacher initially assumed that my classmate meant to say something else and was just *really* bad at the Indonesian language, but he actually did mean to say all that and was trying to impress her with his creativity so he would get extra credit.
The ideal house that I wrote about for that assignment was comparatively mundane. It was a castle atop a mountain peak that could only be accessed by helicopter and was surrounded on all sides by wilderness. It also had robots that did all the chores and babysit my fictional kids while I was away. I got the creativity extra credit points.
We read our assignments to the class, so that is why I remember my classmate's creepy cat meat dungeon.

    I was the student.
It wasn't so much disturbing as it was random. I was in year 11 and we were practising for our monologue assessment. (If you're wondering why, I live in Australia, and the way my school's exams work is a mock for the real one, so we aren't allowed to bring anything into the classroom aside from a pen, highlighter, and clear unlabelled water bottle, so we have to practise with the material ahead of time). This particular time, I wrote a monologue based of off a poem called A One Ended Boomerang. I basically called the school system for being rubbish at it's one job. I still have it saved to my computer, and while I won't put the whole thing here, the highlights include:
    - "It’s not school’s fault, no, it’s the cabbage-headed-victorian-aged-Donald-Trump-2-electric-boogaloos that insult the intelligence of dodos who manage to duck up every child they come across while getting away with horrid abuse of children because kids either blindly trust them, are too afraid to speak up, or end up with some disorder because these worthless swine made a system designed to box people, destroy talents, and kill or hamper development of those who are actual assets to society. They don’t even listen to science. Bigoted hypocrites."
    - "The Promised Neverland was an allegory for the school system, wasn’t it? That’s dark. It’s not as gory, but school does tend to kill children and even adults by suicide, car crash, OD, all myriad of insidious ways, leaving survivors to possibly worse fates."
    - "That way, teenage brains can actually prune themselves properly so there aren’t any weird branches that send wrong messages, putting the brain on the fritz and causing damn epilepsy. Or schizophrenia. Or depression. Or almost any mental illness that results of abnormal brain structure."
    - "Where life skills are focused on, you know, like cooking. Not a f****** factory that boxes children’s brains and throw away the rejects."
Yeah, my teacher checked in with me the next lesson, had the school councillor check in on me, and alerted my mother. I'm fine, it's just that this swearing rage dump about the current school system came from out of nowhere.

I got sent to the councilor for writing a story about my bday. I was born on 9/11 so I compared the joy of a birthday, to the panic of people literally dying. It was about how every birthday as a child i felt over shadowed, everyone had lots of attention on them on their bday but mine was spent with adults saying where they were, watching the same news casts, the same memorials, the same documentaries. In the end it was comparing the thin smoke from candles to the smoke from the towers.
The councilor read it and said he didn't see a issue, that it was well written and didn't show any signs I was suicidal or things were bad at home. He asked me to try toning it down with that teacher. I was a good kid, had issues but they were being dealt with. I just had a English teacher be over dramatic.

Desperate cry for help that was ignored. This was 1955. I am so grateful that things have changed.

Not a teacher, but in 7the grade we were supposed to proofread other’s assignments one time. I have ADD and my mind wanders a lot. In school I would often stare off into space, thinking about anything and everything, granted I did manage to hurry and get my assignments done and turned in.
This one girl, would see me staring into space and always comment about how I don’t do anything, and complain to other students about it too.
One day I was tasked with proofreading something she wrote, and it turned out to be a short story about me being euthanized. I remember one line: “She didn’t work much, but she was very sweet and we will all miss her.”
I was shy and didn’t have the confidence to confront her, and I don’t know how our teacher responded to it.

In this story, i was the student
This was in grade 3 or 5 and i was insane about the Five Nights At Freddy's franchise, oh boy this story shocked my teacher.
The story starts off by this little kid (me) getting stuck in the pizzeria, I approached pirates cove, foxy's place, and spoke all the wondrous things about him and the rest of the gang, and how much i wanna be them. Then the pirate fox sprung to life, He said that it will be ok, if Freddy Fazbear says ok, so we both went to the main stage, where the gang all introduced themselves and said it would be ok for me to be one of them. Then the big bear himself took me to the parts and services, stuffed my body in the Golden Freddy suit and said this... "Oh you will join us, you will join us... Forever" before putting the Golden Freddy head on my own, killing me in an instant.
So, i showed it to my teacher (THIS IS STILL IN ELEMENTARY BTW) she gave me a straight A+ and said that i could be the next Stephen King (which i looked up to very much back then and still do!)
Now i still like FNAF, but im more into musical and Broadway shows, like rocky horror, cats, six, phantom of the opera and more, hope you like my story!

Story 4: Oh god- As a fantasy/creative writer myself, that sentence was triggering me do much and made me die on the inside. I wanna help that dude out now
Story 10: I'm Aussie (imagrante from India) and I really don't see how that was racist. Ig it is bc of the term "Aborigines" bc we use the term "First Nations" or "Indigenous" people here. Unless that wasn't the full thing (edit: Oh, I get it nvm)

#2 is terrible! Imagine you trust a teacher enough to give them your fanfiction that is very detailed and she goes around and shows your parents and so on
I know she has to do it.. But she could've just given her a week more time to write something different and acted as if it never happened

When I was in school, one of my buddies wrote a story about Ivor the boneless in creative writing a well documented, well known king of the Vikings or the Norseman instead of this teacher going to the history, teacher down the hall and say hey, can you make sense of this for me? No, she didn’t do that, she took it to the principal and the principal turned it over the sheriff and my buddy ended up on fucking suicide watch

Explicatory not a teacher however I am probably be someone who'd write some of these horror stories since I'm really into the horror and fantasy genres so a lot of the horse stories are likely going to write are fictional fantasy worlds with a lot of War aspect hinging on fear of the unknown with a general idea of the main character doesn't come from this world they're just kind of thrown into it because the world needs a Saviour anymore chosen sort of thing one of those Chosen One stories with a horror hinge
