Galaxy A51: How to Fix Black Screen or Screen Won't Turn On (6 Easy Fixes)

I give you 6 easy fixes on how to fix a black screen or screen won't turn on on a Samsung Galaxy A51. Note that you have a black screen but you know the phone is on as you can maybe feel it vibrate, see LED lights, or can hear it ring. Make sure to follow each method and by the end of the video most of you will have a working screen. If these methods did not work for you then try every step 4, 5, even 6 more times. Good Luck!

Thanks a lot man, it worked for my son’s A71!! It didn’t want to start and I did the slapped in hand and massaged the screen after, then I forced restart and it’s working now.

This man is amazing, I did every thing to turn it on and it did not work so i put it in the freezer for about 2 minutes because I was scared to do further damage, I then took it out did the steps up to the tapping and I was able to get it back on. Really thx

please make sure to always save any important data as soon as possible/sync it. It may stop working sometime and youll have to factory reset it. After that, all your data will be gone.

It worked for me! I cycled through the instructions 3-4 times without immediate success. So I put my phone to the side. About 20 hours later, it came back on by itself, so I think it did ultimately work.💃🏾❤ Thanks so much! BTW the same thing happened to a different Samsung phone last year, I cycled through the instructions a few times, and after taking it out of the freezer, it came back on an hour or so later. I did every step a few times. Then i put in the freezer and did everything again. The next morning after the fourth try it magically turned on. Dont know what ultimately made it work. But in the end it worked so thanks man

Went through all of your steps except the freezer, still felt sad so started them all over again whilst having a cuppa tea, suddenly it vibrated and the SAMSUNG LOGO appeared and its back up and running. so pleased. Thank you so much. I must say I was up for trying anything as was told would have to send it back and it would take 3 weeks - they would clear everything. Thank you so much for your help - just hope it stays alive now!
However, it has pink grey lines up middle and edges now and green and pink lines horizontally and vertically. Sometimes it's OK, mainly when I want to show someone that its not well and other times like now, it's full of lines. But at the end of the day .... ITS ON and fully functional! Oh and instead of going to a black screen now, it goes to a dark green screen and glows when it's asleep!

@@atharvasingh2898 There is no tap button. Tap is the action suggested. Use your finger and tap the phone all over front and back. It worked for me. Good luck to you!

I couldn't get to recovery mode and was still stuck on the boot screen and then I tried the massage method which I thought was a bit silly since I already did the hard taps... but little did I know... It worked. These method seems like something my grandma would do...Somebody give this man a cookie.

@@KSTUDWORLDWIDE I'm sorry, I just saw this comment I used the first one volume down and power button the only thing I remember though it takes longer than you would think it didn't take 5 minutes but it might have been 3 and I pressed both buttons down pretty hard and I used both hands. It worked!

Thank you good man! I tried two times all methods except putting in the freezer and for me worked hard tapping with fingers, but ecpecially with the knuckles because it is stronger (I did it longer than in this video, maybe for two min and pretty intensive). Good luck to everyone and keep trying!

i rarely comment in youtube but omg thank you so so much!!!!! this works like crazyyyy!! i tried the 1st step and my screen suddenly turned white with black dots, and then it seems kinda okay for 1 minute then when i charge it goes back to complete black screen. so i redo the method + the massaging method and thank youuuuuuuuu it works so well!!

I thought these ideas were absurd and did not believe in them... I tried everything but it did not work until I got to the freezer part 😂 😂 😂 I put the phone in the freezer for just 2 minutes because I could not imagine my phone freezing up 😂 I removed it, pressed the buttons, it did not work, I charged it and VOILA. I could not believe my eyes.

Okay I am blown away. I had my Samsung phone which had a black screen I tried around four of these suggestions and none of them worked. Begin to sync can't hurt to try everything this guy suggests or have to go buy a new phone which is costly. So I got to the step where he said put it in the freezer for 1 hour then take it out and turn it on and sure enough it worked!!! It's early evening now so hopefully in the morning it's still working.

Right? My phone turned back on after I massaged it. Sounds weird to do but it works. I dropped my phone into water and my screen went dark.. I could hear my phone vibrating sometimes so I knew it was still working..
