You can be a fan but try to be objective. 23 ultras camera is not that great. Me pixel take better pictures, I'm gonna try this X6 pro and see. Looks great
No, 2500nits is not fake as tested by many reviewers already. Chinese youtubers have already tested the Oppo for gaming and it performs on par with the best SD 8 gen 2 smartphones. If there's someone who has performance issues is Samsung with their GOS software.
Agree with you. This is oppo sponsored video. The front facing camera on oppo is as awful as it gets. It has horrendous stabilisation and photos can't even speak about. 2500 nits is a gimmick. Thanks for the zoom comparison. Oppo 10x on digital is a big disappointment over the galaxy which uses full potential of periscope lens on telephoto 10x. There's so much difference in detail. I hope the next Oppo flagship will use the telephoto instead of digital zoom.
@@tehemister042 bro my comment was to the fact that if you're buying thr phone please look at the front facer before you do. I never dissed the rest of the phone. Don't just jump into a phone before checking all the camera capabilities!
This is a good comparison but you were flat in your comments. You would comment for example "they both look different for other reasons" what reasons? Like what's the point in saying that. Though I agreed with you in some instances, in other instances the night shots on oppo were over exposed and the white balance didn't seem correct. Especially as it has a white cast and S23U looked more real. The issue with 1 inch sensors is that they take in too much light and the processing comes out wrong. I didn't see anything impactful from oppo to say it is the future of photography. Pretty much all the time the photos side by side looked as good as the other. But I preferred the bokeh depth of field on Sammy. It looked much more pleasing to the eye and not over processed on the oppo. The telephoto images looked better on ultra as well. The OS on s23u is só much better. The fact you went for oppo if you had to choose, shows your pretty biased as you called it much more versatile, and hands down better than ultra. It doesn't make any sense since none of your photos showed any major improvements of oppon on samsung. It looked pretty much neck a neck. If I were to take any of the phones on holiday I would want to make use of my front facer and that's a BIG BIG plus for me! Battery lasts longer on Sammy as well the quality on the video from Sammy is superior. You called it a futuristic phone but made no mention whatsoever to any innovations from oppo??? Is this video sponsored by oppo? It was enjoyable to watch your video as it shows how easy it is to sway people towards oppo if they have no clue on computational mobile imaging. Sorry to say but your video was heavily biased towards oppo! Also don't forget - S23Ultra is KING of Astrophotography!!! And did you forget??? The stylus on s23u OMG! That's the future! It's game changing!
The stylus has been around for years in the Note, but the Note sales were dumpster diving and were no longer making them money, so they added to the Ultra and discontinued the Note. Many people do not care, and LG did stylus support, which made no difference to sales, and they have now closed down.
Those "reasons" are explained 2 seconds before. One has a small sensor and shots look darker, while the other has to oversharpen its images because it doesn't have a 10x optical zoom
@@tehemister042 who cares about moon shots lol. I had them in my mate 20 pro. Couldn't care less! I'm a fan boy that cares for what's important! Unlike you I understand how the moon shot was achieved whether fake or not looks pretty good! Bet you an apple sheep right?

Aside from some images Samsung does a nice job still, I had a S21 Ultra and it felt better anyway. The 200 MP camera is a joke, slow and you have to activate it manually. Same with the 50 and so you again make images with 12 MP. Is that a joke? Making big speech on the 200 MP and then the stadard shoot is still 12 MP. The new S23 Ultra is like a brick and not nice to hold, the PWM is so low my eyes have issues with. And I dont know why, my S21 Ultra images did look much better and not so colour overdosed. I wait for the next update of the camera and hope they solve some issues. I would actually NOT recommend that item.

If anyone needs to buy a mobile phone or other products in China, I can teach you how to buy them. The process is very simple. And I have a lot of shopping skills that most people don't know. These skills are accumulated in my 30 years of living and working in China. Please note that I will not help you buy it, I will only teach you how to buy it yourself.
Why do we keep reviewing this phone? Given it isn't being released globally we are giving oppo advertising for something that no one who watches these videos will ever get a chance to purchase it. Waste of time for us to watch this video.
Even though Find X6 pro 3X Zoom has a larger sensor and aperture, I don't think some of the indoor and night shots are really usable, or a huge improvement over the S23 Ultra.
We have a lot of Samsung Knights in the comment section trying to defend their Baby Samsung in everything 😂😂 p.s. I agree with the zoom. Samsung is better on 10x. But beyond that both are using Digital Zoom so then it again becomes equal. In Videos, OIS on Samsung is slightly better by a tiny margin(Less Jelly effect). 8k on rear and 4k on front doesn't bother the majority of people. If it's there then it's good otherwise it's completely fine.
After all these years and with this finally no lags S23 do you really think they are scared? They were scared by Huawei not by Oppo that costs also a rib!anyway probably will come but later ...last year with awful s22 oppo find x5 pro didn't make the numbers I had it and sold because of that 8 gen 1 by Samsung ....

In china, x6pro is around 850 eur while s23u is around 1200eur. Which one will you purchase? No idea why all these chinese phones are way more expensive in Europe. I would buy x6pro in China and then install google play in europe.

It is a China Only phone, why? when it is a great phone and being admired by each and every reviewer for its supertive and alround performance, why OPPO is not selling it outside China? Why the global demand ignored? I don't understand the logic and if you know, please tell us...😅
Perhaps because of patent protection? Previously, Xiaomi's 12s ultra and vivo's flagship pro+ were not allowed to be released globally... Maybe the hardware is too strong. If they are launched around the world, other brands will be under great pressure!
I am not a Samsung fan, but i prefer the Samsung photos and videos in every single comparison you made here...oppo is like xiaomi great hardware but lack of optimisation, our only hope against samsung is Huawei p60 pro ,the only real competitor
I'm my humble opinion Oppo is killing it!!!!! I hope Samsung offers a bigger & better lense on the S24U also we need more Ram they need to do away for 8GB on an Ultra.
The only thing OPPO is killing is the title of this video. Click bait title, if you look closely at the pics, they're over saturated, over sharpened and not realistic. Latest sensors from Sony but unfortunately the processing is mediocre.
@malekinception Oh cmon, how are you mentioning oversharpening on the Oppo but not on the Samsung when the Samsung clearly does it a lot more? Samsung's pictures are also noisier because of the smaller sensor and color fringing like at 3:50 happen all the time. Oppo does need to work on its consistency to reduce overexposure and controlling highlights but the pictures clearly have a higher ceiling.
@@Donalob Many people will be okay with 8GB, but it is a poor precedent that a £1250 phone only has an 8GB base model versus nearly all other flagships over £1000 that provide 12GB. Samsung got lucky when Huawei was banned, as they were in decline, and Huawei, for apparent reasons (better), was nearly overtaking them. Now that OPPO is in China only due to further ban threats, Samsung has been lucky again. Ask Samsung's CEO if he would want Huawei, OPPO, VIVO, and Xiaomi to sell in the US, and he would say no! As a lot of people have pointed out in the comments, despite better hardware on paper the software optimisation in the Samsung just makes the photos and videos look better (to my eyes at least). I think software is the main issue with these phones that's holding them back. Also Samsungs commitment to software updates for an extended period of time makes a samsung phone a no-brainer for me if the choice is between Samsung and Oppo. Also I realise this is totally subjective, but the S23 range is way more handsome than the overly busy "designed by a high school kid" look of the Oppo. Some might call it blamd, but I really like the new Samsung devices which I feel manage to look fresh and classy at the same time. Maybe that's just me but personally if the Oppo Find X6 was available outside of China, I'd still choose the Samsung.
That's why it's not available outside of China because most people would share your view and say "Why would I pay $1000 for OPPO? I can get Samsung and Apple at that price" without even trying the device or using the UI.
@@dragonforcegaming7555 Maybe, but if you've ever used a modern oneplus device (almost a rebrand of Oppo and using a simillar operating system) then you can probably get some idea of the user experience of the Oppo device. Thatnotwithstanding though, that wasn't my point. The physical design of the device coupled with the lacklustre commitment to android updates in comparison to Samsung are enough to make me choose the Samsung. Even if it can be argued the camera system on the Oppo is superior, the real world difference is marginal enough that it doesn't outweigh those other more significant (to me) considerations.
@@greenmoose_ I have used both recent OnePlus and Oppo devices. In my experience, ColorOS on OPPO phones is better and much more stable than that on OnePlus phones. The caveats I can think of while using ColorOS are no lockscreen customisations,no Goodlock modules like OneUI. But I am pretty happy with the UI mainly due to how smooth it is. OneUI was barely smooth on my S21U. Personally Dex hasn't been a concern to me because I barely used it on my S21U. Design is subjective. Personally, I quite like this design more than that of S22U or S23U mainly because the lenses on those 2 phones are more prone to getting scratched if I am not careful which isn't an issue with OPPO or OnePlus phones because they use a "Recessed Crater" design for the lenses. Even S21U had a better design to protect the lenses from getting scratched up. The only reason for me to pass on this oppo is that there aren't any service centres in my district and the ones which are there in nearby districts, don't give any warranty or Repair with Cash option on imported devices(due to parts unavailability). The real life difference in daylight isn't much that true but in Night time it's completely an opposite case. The X6 pro gives the best output(as of now) at low-light and at night at any zoom level with barely any noise in them(that's more important for me because I mainly shoot low-light scenes). The update cycle is lackluster but at least we are getting 4os+5yrs update policy unlike Google or Vivo who have just 3+4 on their flagships or unlike Xiaomi who barely provides 1 on time. In my experience, ColorOS, OneUI and PixelUI have the most aggressive update policy. In lower end devices both OneUI and ColorOS do a bit late to bring updates but on the higher end either one of them will be first to bring the update(after Pixel devices). Like in the case of my Find X5 pro, the update came the very moment the folks said "now we will be rolling out colorOS 13 update for Find X5 and X5 pro phones" during the live event. ColorOS was the first to bring A-13 update after Pixel devices got it. OneUI was something like a month or two late in this case.
@@dragonforcegaming7555 Yes, I understand all of that. I was merely stating the reasons I have for my brand selection and that those reasons seem to mirror a large amount of device buyers in my part of the world. I aren't saying the Oppo phone is bad - its clearly a very capable device. What I am saying is that it doesn't offer significant advantages that many buyers in the west appreciate and that those advantages far outweigh the marginal (if any) advantage that the hardware has. Samsung clearly knows their market and designs its devices with this in mind.
@@greenmoose_ yes I understand what you are saying. I too said about my perspective that why I prefer OPPO over Samsung and why even though I can afford this one, I will let it pass :) Btw I don't think purchases are to be made only on basis of what advantage one product has over others(TLDR I wrote a huge pata, read only if you want to). Suppose the budget segment phones. Motorola is providing great specs like Dimensity 930 SoC whereas the Realme is providing SD 695. But that doesn't means that Motorola's phone is going to be better in terms of software and support, rather Realme destroys Moto in software by providing timely updates, something which Moto doesn't. So a smart consumer who wouldn't flash AOSP in their phones would go with Realme even though the specs don't look as great. In Flagship however the matter changes completely. The SoC and battery capacity is same in every phone so, the only things a consumer can decide his pick only on 3 things updates, UI, Cameras(or specifically camera sensors). In this case, oppo matches the 1st and defeats Samsung in the 3rd. So now the decision comes up to the user's pick of UI and Service centers(Samsung wins in the no.of service centers).
Thanks for this comparison video. I am wondering why Oppo send this phone to all the mega RUclipsrs to advertise if it will not been launched worldwide. That's make no sense😊
Daylight photos, even $400 phones, are good enough; tie. Nighttime photos, win for OPPO. selfir photos; win S23U Ultrawide night; win for OPPO as it has better low-light Ultrawide day; win S23U as it is wider. 3X zoom; win for OPPO day as it has 50mp 3X zoom night; an easy win for OPPO due to the larger sensor. 10X zoom to 30X zoom; tie 30X-100X zoom S23U just Portrait; win for OPPO due to brilliant 3X portrait. Let me tell you what I hated on Oneplus 10Pro that I had..
The notification management is annoying af!
Whenever I scrolled down on the app drawer, it never went to homescreen..sounds so little but it is super annoying! A lot of bugs! Yes I faced bugs on it and OneUI has almost none ever since it was launched in 2019 (earlier I didn't liked samsung's UI that much)
Apart from that, there are way less usefull features in it..Samsung edge panel can do lots of stuffs. One handed+ is productivity beast and I haven't even started talking about goodlock! And all these are standard in OneUI..S23Ultra's battery is great so I don't care what was the past of it..I haven't even mentioned the Ultra specific features yet..ColorOS to me is like a scam. Its bad..just plain bad, a cheap wannabe iOS copy!
Does the Oppo Find X6 Pro have a built-in screen recorder that records video calls with sound on both sides? Because that's what I'm also looking for in a phone.
Really life Samsung aur apple best camera on any smartphone
Oppo software is horrific and on top of that much like Huawei, the specs on paper look good yet in use is pretty subpar.
I would never buy a chinese phone, Japanese korean and american brand only.
Finland gave up too soon.
The S23U already got destroyed in still photography by the Vivo X90 pro+ particularly in low light - as long as Samsung refuses to upgrade to a 1" sensor and stick to gimmicks like 200mp, they will be playing catch up with the Chinese flagship phones
Greatest advantage of using 1 inch sensor is low light photography which just mind-blowing which is evident in xioami 13 pro also.
I absolutely loved the oppo fond x5 pro and was my phone of choice last year and up until recently. I have no doubt if the oppo find x6 pro improves on the 5 it'll be as good my s23 ultra. Hopefully it'll make its way over

Side by side they are the same. The low light video on oppo shows a lot of judder which wasn't shown on this video. Samsung is so much better overall!

China android phones like Vivo X90 Pro+, Find X6 Pro, Mi 13 Pro etc. have some of the best camera hardwares,

Calm down fanboy, with your fake moon shots 🤮🤮
Those "reasons" are explained 2 seconds before. One has a small sensor and shots look darker, while the other has to oversharpen its images because it doesn't have a 10x optical zoom

I'm my humble opinion Oppo is killing it!!!!! I hope Samsung offers a bigger & better lense on the S24U also we need more Ram they need to do away for 8GB on an Ultra.
8 is fine for the vast majority of users.
Nah, not really, hdr is still lacking, the video still have some stuttering, and the images tend to smooth the skin on human subject

I too said about my perspective that why I prefer OPPO over Samsung and why even though I can afford this one, I will let it pass :)
Btw I don't think purchases are to be made only on basis of what advantage one product has over others(TLDR I wrote a huge pata, read only if you want to).

Ultrawide night; win for OPPO as it has better low-light
Ultrawide day; win S23U as it is wider.
3X zoom; win for OPPO day as it has 50mp
