Thanks. Fooling around with different techniques keeps things fun and evolving. :) I have a horsehair fiddle bow that also sounded nice, with longer sustained tones from the length of the bow...but way too awkward/long for practical use in this regard.
Cool. Thanks for the info. Somebody else suggested trying a half/quarter size child's violin bow. Might give that a try if I trip across one at music store one day...
@@jaymiemaham9582 I have one of those too. 1/2 size cello, I think. It's a little big. But then I haven't really dug into that stuff too much. Need to get off my butt and get an Ebow tho'

These Guitar Bows can be found on most music supply sites and places like Amazon. Average price is about $20.
I use a bowed Psaltry bow that I got from Folkcraft. It's a little longer which is good. But not nearly as wide which is bad.
