    Lovely moment during the big dance off scene when Evil British Dancing Guy quickly picks up on Ram and Bheem’s dance moves and makes an effort to mimic them. Walking out of the theater I felt good, like I haven't felt after a film for many years. The feeling that THIS is the magic of movies, not just a time-passer or a designed-by-committee 'blockbuster'. RRR elevates the artform and brings a positive message about good people doing good things for good friends, family, and community! It was like receiving a big pitcher of ice water in the parched desert of Hollywood dreck.

    Thank you for such a honest review. I completely agree with you that RRR is a visual treat for cinema lovers like me. Just one correction in your review is that you mentioned that Ram is dressed as Shiva but its lord RAM attire. This movie gives fantastic experience both for eyes and ears making sure you get involved in the movie completely. one will get goosebumps in few key scene if you know the indian mythology (Ramayana and Mahabharat). Thanks to Rajamouli for giving us RRR one of the finest movies i have seen and will be special for me always. the director Rajamouli sir once faced lot of challenges in his own film industry and once there was a comment from some senior actor that he will make movies with big starts and that's why his movies are successful, now this hurt Rajamouli sir and he made a film on fly "eega" and showed the word that good director doesn't need good actors to make a successful movie. in RRR you can see how he can bring best out each actor in all departments like, dance, fight and expressions. Waiting for his next masterpiece couple of years from now :) .

    The attention to detail in RRR action scenes is quite amazing..the opening scene where the cop jumps into the frenzied mob by leaping over a couple of drums is a case in point. The first drum at a low level and the 2nd one standing gives the elevated launching pad for the jump. The 1st drum gets flat on the ground when the mob attacks the fence and the drum rolls over in the preceding scene to the cop's jump...and not just a convenient placement of drums to help the cop crossover the fence

  • @kiraan2610

    The bridge scene symbolises the whole movie perfectly.
    Ram with the "Vande Mataram flag" represents the revolutionary.
    Bheem with the kid represents his story arc of rescuing the Konda tribe girl.
    The bridge literally and metaphorically bridges both their causes.
    Ram and Bheem exchange the kid and the flag foreshadowing what's to come and eventually Ram helps rescue the girl and Bheems joins the revolution in the end and they join hands together and team up.

To support that, Bheem is shown working as a bike mechanic in Delhi and Ram is shown as the guy who likes horses. To add to this, actor Ram Charan loves and owns horses. In his previous film Magadheera with the same director Rajamouli, Ram charan is shown riding horses multiple times. So, it is expected from Ram Charan to ride the horse from fans.

    @25:20 Something to remember here is that the horse is not native to India. India historically always imported horses from Central Asia. For this reason, the horse has always been a possession of the elites, not of poor rural people. Even today, if you could ride a horse, you are most likely a wealthy person living in a large city. That explains why it is the urbane Ram that rides the horse, and Bheem the tribal man rides the motorbike (which, of course, was taught by Ram himself).

    • @iosaroj
      @iosaroj 2 года назад +1

      Another point to note is that Bheem repairs bikes, so he knows riding as well.

    • @deepakrvs5733
      @deepakrvs5733 2 года назад +3

      Not true. There has been findings of horse remains in India as old as 3500 during Indus Valley civilisation. Horses have been mentioned numerous times in ancient Indian scriptures all dated even older.

    • @patmclaughlin107
      @patmclaughlin107 2 года назад +1

      @@deepakrvs5733 I did not say we never had horses. I said the horse is not a native animal to India, unlike Central Asia or Arabia. Just as the elephant is not native to Persia, though the ancient Persians may have imported elephants from India.

    Wished the movie delayed its debut on Netflix for few months and continewd to show in the cinemas, that's where its enjoyed most, btw I saw on Netflix. It would have earned more money at international box office.

As good as Shiva himself that's what the song says which people misunderstood) & treated by bhim thats the most EPIC & dope part ever.

    Both Ram and Bheem are modern historical figures as depicted in movies but they are also inspired from ancient historical characteristics of Shri Rama (from Ramayana Era) and Mighty Bheem (from Mahabharat Era) that's the reason why Bheema can lift motorcycle because according to Mahabharat, Bheema can crush mountains and 🐘 with his single punch. And Rama dressed liked that statue (idol from where he gets his 🏹) of ancient Indian Rama. You should read the lyrics of song playing in background music in last forest battle. That score describes the characteristics of both ancient historical figures.❤️❤️🪔

    My grandmas grewup watching the famous " Vitalacharya" master of " Grandeur, Over the top" the infinity level of imagination to bring in those carricatures, epic level movies which everyone watch with the Eyes wide open ,just like the way u guys r discribing now 😀 it's in Telugu ,South movie. The narrative is so unique which brings the kid in us to comeout. Finally Raja Mouli is re-introducing that kind of super imaginative ,out of the world storytelling with pure Human emotions intact. With technology these kind of story telling have a great potential to explore. Indian mythology has a greatest possibility to express itself on big screen. Afterall Illiyad ,Homar were toddlers compare to Hindu mythology.

    At 25.26....the director rajamouli has given his theory for Bheem & Ram's choice of transport. It's that the teo charectors would be fascinated towards their opposite side of origins! Bheem coming from forests gaining interest towards motor bikes as he comes across them & ram adapted to the civilized ways ... Having a thing towards the country ways...!

      why r u recommending normal movies like u mention, as the reviewers get to see several of such normal/regular films worldwide in general ??? RRR here is worth discussing as it is one of the all-time greatest movies from India worth to be discussed. Look at the largeness , visual effects, background music, emotions and it is all world class in RRR, Bahubali1/2, Eega. He is in the process of taking Indian movie standards to world class.

    Not all Indian films are epic, over the top, historic and high budget busters.... well, that's what's gaining the high amount of recognition world wide but I'd like you to check some grounded stuff from the southern and the North Indian cinema as well. They're not necessarily bollywood but here are some suggestions from a few directors and Actors where you can start from
    1. Films of Anurag Kashyap (Gangs of Wasseypur part 1,2)
    2. Shoojith Sircar's "Sardar Udham" (Got rejected for an oscar submission due to political reasons of how the film potrays against someone but it's very dumb of them to cancel on those aspects since we have films like Schindlers' list)
    3. Lokesh Kanagaraj's Kaithi and Vikram.... (A universe of it's own)
    4. Hey Ram by Kamal Haasan ( Like literally, he wrote, acted, directed, produced and is also a dance, make up artist, choreographer, Technician, singer and a lot of other things you can explore)
    5. And for nice romantic films that hollywood might not have ever done or seen is a film called 96 by Vijay sethupathi and Trisha
